Chapter 130: Peak Level Battle

In a fraction of a second, Klein and Asmodius collided at least ten thousand times.

The power that was generating from this collision—if Ethan hadn’t used his Chaos Domain—probably the entire continent would have been reduced to ash by now along with its trillions of life forms.

But Ethan had to admit, the fight of such a high scale was a feast for the eyes.

Klein roared like a mad beast. He tried his very best to break through Asmodius’s defense, but who was Asmodius? A Cardinal Demon, at the level of a Saint.

Even if it was just an incarnation of his, Asmodius was a monster who lived for countless eons. Compared to him, Klein was just a slightly older baby.

But Klein was a Son of Destiny of this universe, so he also couldn’t be measured with common sense.

Watching this peak-level battle, even Ethan wanted to join the fight.

He created a grand throne out of his Law of Creation and sat on it in the air.

Then he took out some food from his space ring, the ones he bought from those street shops when he first arrived in this world.

He was cheering for both Asmodius and Klein. Whoever had a slightly upper hand, he would cheer for him.

”Kill that filthy demon, shred him into pieces, Mr. Angel Soul. You got this,” he cheered when Klein’s punch landed on Asmodius and sent him flying back about 4 km back.

In the next instant, Asmodius appeared behind Klein using teleportation and landed a hit on his back.

Then Ethan started cheering for Asmodius.

”Kill that glowing light bulb, Mr. Thanos—oops, Mr. Asmodius. You can do it.”

Asmodius was a purple skinned demon. So..

He took a bite of the steak in his hand.

Even Klein, who had lost all his sanity, felt a little twitch on his face.

Asmodius, though, didn’t just take insult this lying down. He vanished from the place after hitting Klein and appeared in front of Ethan, who was still happily wolfing down that large chunk of meat.

”Die, you bastard. How dare you mock one of the eternal rulers of the demon realm?”

An apocalyptic force lunged toward Ethan, but Ethan didn’t react much.

Asmodius became happy. He thought Ethan was just all bark and no bite. This punk couldn’t even react to his attack.

And boom!

The spear tip landed on the exact spot above the heart.

But instantly Asmodius’s smile vanished into thin air. He felt a chill down his spine and he vanished from there instantly and appeared in a distance. His spear didn’t even penetrate Ethan’s battle suit.

Ethan didn’t even look at him. He said in a calm voice,

”Why are you in a rush to die? Isn’t it good that I am letting you live a little longer? Just finish your fight with that man if you are capable, then you will probably die valiantly. If you can’t even beat him, aren’t you just a shame on the name of Cardinal Demons?”

This time Asmodius felt that chill because Ethan activated his Eyes of Destruction. If Asmodius dared to attack one more time, he would make him disappear like he did to all his enemies. Asmodius would have been disintegrated instantly.

Ethan once again started eating.

Klein also attacked Asmodius in the meantime.

This time, a golden sword manifested in Klein’s hand.

This sword was an amplifier. It amplified two times his total strength but could only last for one minute.

Asmodius looked coldly toward Klein and said,

”You will regret forever provoking me.”

Asmodius wasn’t Beelzebub, who was killed instantly by Ethan’s hand. Besides, Beelzebub came down unprepared, but Asmodius was prepared as he knew he might even have to face someone far stronger than this incarnation.

Soon he unleashed his ultimate form. This incarnation was much more valuable than Beelzebub’s incarnation.

Asmodius’s true form was a giant serpent, thousands of kilometers long.

But Ethan’s Chaos Domain was only 5 km in radius, and Asmodius couldn’t get out of this domain, so the serpent coiled inside the sphere of the Chaos Domain.

Ethan was surprised. This demon sure had many cards to play. Asmodius’s strength was 80,000 Sun without the spear. But with this serpent form, it now became 800,000 Suns—ten times more powerful.

Besides, its defence became stronger too. Soon Klein felt like a mosquito in front of the giant purple serpent.

Then Asmodius roared,

”Insect, now die.”

A corrosive poison breath instantly covered the entire domain. This corrosive power was two times his strength.

With 1,600,000 Sun-level corrosive breath, the entire World of the Ancients might be gone with this attack.

Ethan wrapped around him with his mental power and enveloped it with the Law of Destruction.

The Law of Destruction was a supreme law, whereas the Law of Poison was a unique law but it fit in the basic law category. So when the corrosive breath touched his mental barrier, it immediately dispersed.

Klein’s Angel Soul was glowing to its utmost level, but in front of such power, it was almost futile.

Klein attacked with his sword and tried to cut through the poison breath, but it was all in vain. His highest attack power was 500,000 Sun, whereas Asmodius’s power was 1,600,000 Sun—more than three times stronger.

Soon the glow of his soul started to dim. Klein’s eyes returned to their normal form from their berserk red form.

He could now think clearly.

”I am sorry, Luna. I am not a worthy husband you could be proud of. I tried my best, but still can’t defeat a demon. Can you forgive me, please?”

He bid his time for 10,000 years. He became stronger and stronger, until he surpassed everyone in this world. But he never revealed his strength or ascended to the upper realm.

The upper realm was full of the unknown, so he didn’t want to risk going there and dying without taking revenge for his wife.

A full ten thousand years later, he finally got the chance to take revenge, to vent all his hatred onto a demon. He unleashed all the power he accumulated over the years, but still he couldn’t kill the demon.

He was unwilling. He didn’t want to die yet. He once vowed that he wouldn’t rest until he went to the demon world and killed every one of them.

He wanted one more chance. He wanted to try again and gain more power. He thought he could tackle anyone with his power in this world, but he was wrong. That demon was just an incarnation of a true demon and he couldn’t even defeat that.

Tears started rolling down from his eyes.

”I hope I’ll get another chance in my next life to take revenge for you, Luna. I am coming to meet you finally.”

In this deathly silent space, where only the heartbeat could be heard, Klein heard a sigh.

Then he remembered—there was another man with him in this strange space, who was rumoured to be a demon slayer.

Just when Klein’s final spirit enery was about to be finished, a barrier wrapped around him.

Then Ethan said softly,

”Disintegration.”

Instantly, all the poison breath disintegrated like thin air. The space was cleared again.

Then they saw the giant eyes of Asmodius, which were now full of doubt.
