My attributes are increasing infinitely

Chapter 106: The Hunting phase begins

Ethan returned to his room. It was night already. Healing Vayn took a lot of time.

His law of chaos reached 5%. And boom!

His inner planet started expanding madly. 1 hour later it reached 5 times the previous size which was 63,000 km in diameter. Now it became 315,000 km in diameter. It was larger than any planet in the solar system now.

”Sigh! I am becoming powerful, but my enemies are also becoming powerful. But I am happy somehow. If there were no enemies to keep me company, life would become boring, right?” Ethan was murmuring in his mind.

He looked at the panel.

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Physique: 400 Sun

Spirit: 400 Sun

Talent: Infinite comprehension]

(22 days remaining)

The inter-racial battle would be in 7 days. He wasn’t worried about the contestants but the elders of those races. What if he killed someone and the elders attacked him? What could he do? So he would still send his clone to the battlefield. Those children are not worthy enough to face his main body.

His each clone now had 20 suns of power. Tremendous battle power it was. And with Extinction, it would become 1000 Sun. The entire solar system could be extinct with that much force.

The puppy was still sleeping. He was now busy thinking about what he would do next. Then he started his seclusion again to create the ultimate domain.

In Aetherion, Ethan and everyone were dismissed. The hunting would begin tomorrow morning.

Ethan went out and rented a room for the night.

He then ordered a lot of food. He was very relaxed. With 20 sun of power, there was no way anyone could pose any harm to him tomorrow. And he was afraid to lose this clone. This clone held such a precious talent. If he lost it here, it would be a huge waste. So he was relaxed yet cautious.

The night was over.

His strength was now 40 Suns.

He went to the campus after a hearty meal at breakfast. This time when he reached there, he saw Bella, the same girl he saved before from that rhino monster. She was standing beside a young boy and instructing him. The boy was nodding his head. Probably her brother.

20 minutes later the 4 teachers except Cris came. Jenny said, ”Okay students. You will be taken to the Forest of Jurra. 20 km radius of area was cleared by us. Only some selected monsters are present there. You will be there for the next two days. Killing a monster will give you points. Taking a partner’s token will give you their points as well. Killing is forbidden. There is a mechanism that will be activated as soon as the owner is under fatal crisis, and he will be teleported. You can also activate that mechanism manually by pressing that button, but then you will be considered failed.

Any questions?”

”No”, everyone replied.

”Let’s go then.”

Ethan already knew the point system.

There were all below E-level monsters. A rare few were E-level. Killing them would give 100 points instantly. But that would be extremely difficult for these people who were all level 0, only came with their talents and theoretical knowledge from the schools.

As for normal monsters, killing 1 would give 5 points. The more kills, the more points.

But Ethan wasn’t trying to become the best, he wanted to score a mediocre one. That’s the whole idea. His main targets were those 5 students he marked. Just after the battle started, he would extract their talents.

For the exchange of those talents, he would give them a false core made by his energy and a breathing technique. They could follow the path of martial arts from then, he would supply them their necessary energy as this world didn’t have the energy but only if their characters were good. But if they were bad, he didn’t have to bother with that.

So everyone boarded on the bus. 25 buses would go to the zone where the Forest of Jurra was located. There was a military camp. They would first go there, then from there everyone may move individually or in a team.

Ethan didn’t see Saimon or Siri. Maybe they were already admitted into the elite class.

The bus started. A boy was sitting beside his seat.

He smiled at Ethan as Ethan was also an SSS-rank awakener. He didn’t get the hype because of Siri and Saimon, but many people already noticed him.

The boy greeted him, ”Hello I am Jeremy, an S-rank awakener. What’s your name?”

Ethan also smiled back at him.

”I am Ryan. An SSS-rank awakener. It’s nice to meet you.”

Ethan felt a little smug when he said he was an SSS-rank awakener. Showing off always felt cool to him.

The boy then started chatting with all about the world. He was sharing his knowledge, trying to impress Ethan. Ethan also listened, as he knew very little about this world.

2 hours later, the bus reached its destination. Everyone came down.

Jenny said again, ”Okay, now you have 30 minutes for the final preparation. You may take weapons from the camp if you must.”

Jeremy asked Ethan if he wanted to go with his team, as 3 members were waiting behind him. Ethan looked at them and said, ”Sorry, I like to move alone. Thanks for the invitation though.”

Jeremy was disappointed but didn’t say anything.

Ethan went to the weapon room to take a sword. He would need a cover for the kill he was going to make.

30 minutes passed in a blink.

”Okay you may leave. Don’t cross over the area of 20 km radius. You have to come back 48 hours from now. Any second late, you will be disqualified. Is that clear?” Jenny said.

”Yes ma’am.”

Everyone shouted and then they left from the gate. The Forest of Jurra was a huge forest. This was the forest where Ethan first arrived. Its area was at least the size of the solar system.

Ethan immediately went for the target of SSS-rank boy, who had the Summoning talent. He would first trail him, see his personality, if good, he would compensate. If bad, he would get nothing.

The boy also created a team. He had 10 members total in the team.

The boy’s name was Jared. There were 5 girls and 5 boys.

A girl among them was especially eye-catching. She was very beautiful. Jared was eyeing that girl for quite a long time.

He said, ”Aria, you don’t have to worry about anything. Uncle gave the responsibility of your protection to me. I’ll protect you no matter what.”

The girl Aria, she felt a little uncomfortable by that intense gaze. She tried to give a forced laugh and said, ”Yeah I trust you.”

Jared was grinning ear to ear.

Jared’s summoning talent was special, he could summon a beast. This beast came from the archive of the Aetherion. The higher his level, the higher the level of the summoned beast.

10 minutes later, they faced the first monster. It was a panther.

It was an unranked monster.

Everyone started panicking as this was the first time they faced a real monster. They looked at Jared. Jared gave them an assuring look and stepped forward and summoned his beast.

Soon a tiger appeared from a portal behind him. This was an E-rank beast. This was the specialty. He could always summon one rank higher beast than him.

When they saw the fierce tiger Jared summoned, everyone was awed. Even Aria’s discomfort vanished into thin air. She now had respect in those eyes.

Jared ordered the tiger and it immediately stepped toward the panther at lightning speed.

And shredded it into pieces. Jared got 10 points of exp from the kill. To level up, he would need to kill 9 more at the same level.

He was proud, very proud.

Ethan was watching everything from the shadow. Not bad eh. I wonder what I might be able to summon with this talent. Let’s observe him some more.

But as soon as the fight was over, another monster came. This time it was an E-ranked monster, the Flame Lion. The lion attacked the team immediately. They all attacked the lion. The tiger also attacked. But the lion was a peak rank E monster. It attacked those pesky bugs first. One by one the students started vanishing. The teleportation mechanism activated. Only Jared, Aria, and the tiger remained. The tiger and the lion fought fiercely but the tiger was at a disadvantage.

Aria was an archer. She shot the lion 3 times, and all three hit. Jared also attacked with a sword. After 30 minutes of battle, they finally managed to kill the monster. But the tiger was also killed. It would have taken Jared 12 hours before he could summon again, but killing an E-ranked beast, which was a rank higher than him, gave him 90 points, and Aria got 10 points who didn’t contribute much. Jared immediately leveled up to level 1. 1000 kg energy surged in him. He could also summon the beast now and it would be a D rank beast.

At the moment of celebration, Jared looked at the surroundings. No one was there.Only Aria with her battered clothes. Her skin could be seen. Instantly his gaze turned red with lust.
