Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 715: Chapter 714: You Are Just Flaunting Your Love

Owen Lewis was seated on a chair, legs crossed, holding his mobile phone in his right hand, his speakerphone on.

”Since you refuse a toast and insist on a forfeit, I’ll have to resort to other means.”

Maxwell Peary, sitting in his office, hadn’t expected such a thing to happen at noon.

Hearing that Chairman Zhu was targeting Nia Mitchell infuriated him even more.

”Young Master... Young Master Peary...”

The bodyguard desperately wanted to shout, I’m innocent!

But he couldn’t.

”Humph!”

Maxwell Peary let out a cold humph, and the temperature in the entire dining hall seemed to plummet a few degrees.

”Fine, so you still won’t tell the truth.”

This was what Maxwell Peary hated most; if you couldn’t hide something properly, it was best not to hide it at all.

”Owen, you know what to do.”

A corner of Maxwell Peary’s lips tilted up. After saying that, he hung up and remained seated in his office.

Such a major incident, and she didn’t call me? Could something really have happened to her?

”Yes,” Owen Lewis replied, his brows furrowing as he looked at everyone present.

”My apologies, but it seems we’ll have to stick to the usual methods.”

After saying that, Owen Lewis’s lips curved into a smirk, and he stood there with a cold, mocking expression.

Anyway, since Nia Mitchell had already left, he could finally let loose here.

Within minutes, many of Owen Lewis’s subordinates arrived.

”You people had better assess yourselves properly in the future. How dare you offend just anyone.”

Owen Lewis figured these people must be completely blind.

After saying his piece, Owen Lewis ignored them and turned to leave.

Soon after, bloodcurdling screams echoed from inside the Buffet Restaurant.

After handling matters there, Owen Lewis headed straight to MC Group without any delay.

「MC Group CEO Office」

”Boss, you really owe me big time for this,” Owen Lewis immediately began to claim credit. If I hadn’t happened to be passing by and lent a hand on a whim... who knows what state Nia Mitchell would be in right now.

Maxwell Peary’s expression was grim, veins visibly throbbing on the back of his right hand as it gripped a pen.

Seeing this, Owen Lewis’s mouth twitched.

”Fine, if you don’t want to thank me, suit yourself. Who’s forcing you? Look at that face you’re making.”

He obviously can’t stand the sight of me, Owen Lewis thought.

”Where is she now?” Maxwell Peary finally managed to ask, his voice strained.

It took Owen Lewis several seconds to realize who Maxwell Peary was asking about.

”How would I know?”

You’re her husband and you don’t know, so how would I? he desperately wanted to retort, but he didn’t dare.

”Find her,” Maxwell Peary commanded curtly, without even looking up.

Owen Lewis was speechless.

Time flew by, and soon it was 4:30 PM.

”You’re becoming such a good girl,” Fiona Sutton said. She hadn’t had her fill of fun yet and shook her head as she looked at Nia Mitchell, who was driving with a serious expression.

Honestly, this girl! Just when I was having a blast, she started insisting on going back. Oh well, I can’t win against her. I’ll just let her drive me back to School. But... saying she needs to go to the Company to pick up Young Master Peary and take him home? What kind of absurd reason is that?

”Nia Mitchell, you’re totally just flaunting your relationship!” Fiona Sutton shook her head. It’s too much, just too much! How are us single folks supposed to live?

”When did I flaunt anything?” Nia Mitchell protested, puffing out her cheeks as she looked at Fiona Sutton in the passenger seat, her expression clearly showing her disapproval.
