Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 711: Chapter 710: Actually, I’m Drunk

Owen Lewis had barely finished speaking when he kicked out.

Damn it! Owen Lewis fumed internally. So, after all this, this guy was bullying Young Master Peary’s woman right here, and he still dares to threaten *me*? Utterly ridiculous!

”You... you actually dare to hit me!” Chairman Zhu scrambled up from the ground, his face a mask of disbelief.

”Damn right I hit you!” Owen Lewis stood there arrogantly.

Damn it all, Owen Lewis thought, if Alan Morgan were here, this guy probably wouldn’t dare to be so brazen. After all, Alan Morgan was practically Maxwell Peary’s other half; many people respected Alan, but I’m different. I’ve always operated in the shadows, rarely making public appearances. So, this ’Deuce’ Lewis, feared by those on the Path, actually holds no intimidating presence in public.

”You... you’ve got some nerve! I’ll make you regret this. You’ll pay for everything you’ve done today!” Chairman Zhu’s face turned the color of pig liver, his neck veins bulging, looking like a sputtering buffoon.

Owen Lewis, watching from the side, couldn’t help but smirk. This guy is truly ridiculous.

”Make me pay?” Owen Lewis raised an eyebrow and slowly walked up to Chairman Zhu. ”And how are you planning to do that?” he asked, an amused and curious expression on his face as he stood there.

”If you have the guts, tell me your name! Otherwise...” Otherwise, what?

”Hmm?” Owen Lewis certainly didn’t think this man had any power to do anything to him. On the contrary, watching him carry on like this, Owen Lewis found it quite entertaining.

”Owen Lewis. That’s my name.”

The words, like a demon’s final verdict, seemed to slowly unfurl venomous claws.

Chairman Zhu instantly broke out in a cold sweat, standing there trembling like a leaf.

What did that man say his name was again? Owen Lewis? Impossible, absolutely impossible! It couldn’t be the Owen Lewis he knew of. Capital Town was so big; what were the chances of running into the infamous ’Deuce’ Lewis, whose name alone struck fear into people, just like that? What a joke!

”Is that... the ’Deuce’ Lewis from the Black Market?” Chairman Zhu asked tentatively.

Owen Lewis raised an eyebrow. He hadn’t expected to be so well-known.

”Correct!” As he admitted it frankly, the smile on Owen Lewis’s face grew wider.

The wider his smile, the more ashen Chairman Zhu’s face became.

It’s over. This time, I’m really done for, Chairman Zhu despaired. What on earth did I just do? I actually dared to threaten ’Deuce’ Lewis!

”Ah? Then... earlier... I was just... just spouting nonsense. I... I’m drunk today...” Chairman Zhu shamelessly spouted this. He hadn’t even had lunch yet, but he dared to claim he was drunk.

Hearing this, let alone Nia Mitchell, even Owen Lewis found him utterly shameless.

Drunk?

Nia Mitchell, who had seen Owen Lewis arrive, had cracked open the car window slightly and was watching the scene unfold. When she heard Chairman Zhu’s claim, she almost lost it. What in the world was going on?

”Yes,” Chairman Zhu mumbled, looking embarrassed, though even he found his own excuse hard to believe.

Hearing his confirmation, Nia Mitchell could only sigh. This man is truly shameless to the extreme.

Owen Lewis’s expression darkened. ”So, you’re drunk?” he scoffed. ”Whether you’re actually drunk or dead drunk, it has nothing to do with me.” With that, he walked straight up to Chairman Zhu.
