Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 710: Chapter 709: The Hero Descended from the Sky

Hearing the chaotic footsteps from behind, Nia Mitchell was too scared to look back; she had no idea who was chasing her.

At the moment, all she remembered were Fiona Sutton’s words: run towards the car and get inside.

However, she wasn’t exactly athletic and couldn’t run very fast. Plus, the time it would take to open the car door would delay her further.

She was caught!

”Ah!”

Chairman Zhu grabbed Nia Mitchell’s wrist, yanking her out of the car she had just managed to get into.

”Let go of me!” Nia Mitchell yelled, struggling with all her might despite the pain in her wrist.

”Go on, keep running!” Chairman Zhu taunted, looking rather smug and panting as he held onto Nia Mitchell’s wrist. He had almost let the girl get away; thank goodness he was quick-witted.

”You let go of me! I’m telling you, if you anger Young Master Peary, you’re done for.”

Upon hearing the name ’Young Master Peary’, Chairman Zhu sobered up a bit. Only then did he realize Nia Mitchell had actually run to Young Master Peary’s car. Looking at Young Master Peary’s car, he could feel the imposing aura radiating from it.

Chairman Zhu frowned and thought for a long time, but he still couldn’t believe that Nia Mitchell would have any connection with Young Master Peary.

”I’m telling you, don’t think you can threaten me like this.” Chairman Zhu didn’t believe her at all. After saying that, he pulled her, trying to drag her away.

”What the hell are you doing? Let go of me!” Nia Mitchell yelled, afraid she might be carried away just like that. Seeing this, she immediately bit him.

”AH!”

Chairman Zhu was clearly unprepared for Nia Mitchell to resort to biting. The sharp pain on the back of his hand forced him to let go of her wrist.

Nia Mitchell, finally free, immediately scrambled into the car.

This time, the car door was already open, so she didn’t waste any time. By the time Chairman Zhu caught up, she had already slammed the car door shut and locked it from the inside. After completing the entire sequence of actions so smoothly, Nia Mitchell finally let out a sigh of relief.

”Open the door!” Chairman Zhu yelled, looking at the back of his hand, his teeth grinding in rage, and immediately started kicking the car.

Nia Mitchell, sitting inside the car, felt the corner of her mouth twitch at his actions. The CEO’s car...

The situation had escalated to this point; it looked extremely serious. Nia Mitchell felt she couldn’t handle this at all; she didn’t even know what Chairman Zhu was here for.

Looking up at the man outside the car window, cursing and ranting, she hesitated, wondering if she should call Maxwell Peary.

Just then, a man appeared.

”What are you doing?”

Owen Lewis had tossed the files to Alan Morgan and had come back alone, planning to pick them up later in the evening. He never expected to witness such a scene on his way back to MC.

That was Young Master Peary’s car, no doubt. But what on earth was this damn man doing? Daring to kick Young Master Peary’s car!? He must be tired of living.

Chairman Zhu froze, turning to see Owen Lewis approaching him.

”Don’t meddle in other people’s business, or you might die without even knowing how.”

Owen Lewis paused. Heh, he really wanted to say that no one in his entire life had ever dared to speak to him like that. So, this man was looking for death, wasn’t he?

”You’ve scared me so much; I really don’t dare to meddle anymore,” Owen Lewis said, his face feigning fear. After saying this, he continued to walk forward.

”You... What are you doing?” Chairman Zhu asked, looking at the man approaching him. He sensed an aura of danger and couldn’t detect any fear from him at all.

”What do you think?”

BANG!
