Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 593: Chapter 592: Are You Doubting My Ability?

Nia Mitchell had never thought he would call her that, especially not at a time like this.

Instantly, her mind filled with scenes of him calling her ”wife.” The memories flashed by, one after another, making her blush uncontrollably. She clearly remembered he only ever called her his wife during *those* moments, whispering it in her ear just as they were finishing.

”Wife, are we really going to try for a baby?”

His voice held a hint of doubt, a touch of reluctance. Nia *is* too young. At twenty, in the prime of her life, she definitely *shouldn’t be* considering things like having children. Every time he looked at her youthful, vibrant self, he felt a pang of guilt.

Hearing Maxwell Peary, Nia immediately threw off the quilt.

”Why are you asking this?”

Although she hadn’t wanted a child so young before, she didn’t feel that way anymore. Having Maxwell’s child now seemed like a wonderful thing.

”It’s nothing.”

Maxwell pushed those thoughts aside, sat down, and pulled her onto his lap.

”You need to properly learn some etiquette.”

With this in mind, he decided to have Annie Davidson start teaching her basic etiquette from tomorrow. In the future, she’ll be Mrs. Peary; socializing will be inevitable.

”Oh, so you’re just finding fault with me.”

Nia pouted. ”Hmph. Manners, manners, always manners. You’re so old-fashioned.”

”Nia Mitchell!”

Hearing Nia’s words, the CEO grew angry. He cares for her so much, yet this is what she thinks! Really... Damn it! He felt the urge to slap her right then and there!

”Alright, alright, I was wrong.” Nia immediately put on an apologetic smile. She’d just blurted it out. ”Maxwell, whatever you arrange, I’ll do it. It’s just learning etiquette; it should be very simple.”

”Alright. We’ll go to the hospital tomorrow.”

”Huh?” Nia froze for two seconds, struggling to follow the CEO’s train of thought. What the hell? Weren’t they just talking about etiquette? How did the topic suddenly jump to the hospital?

Before she could protest, the CEO had already pressed down on her, sealed her lips, and begun to feast on her.

Nia was rendered speechless...

「The next day——」

The morning sun cast lazy rays. Her prenatal examination was scheduled for nine, so she could sleep in a little. The space beside her in bed was already empty; the CEO had gone to the study early.

”Annie, get your things sorted. Come over tonight.”

After giving his orders, Maxwell Peary called Owen Lewis.

”Is it handled?”

Owen Lewis had just returned from his morning workout and taken a shower. Droplets of water dripped from his hair, his lower body wrapped in a bathrobe. The eye-catching tattoos, glistening with water droplets, seemed to dance vividly on his skin.

”Boss, are you doubting my capabilities?” Owen Lewis rubbed his hair with a towel.

”Are you still at the Black Market?”

Owen Lewis paused toweling his hair and grunted affirmatively.

”Don’t forget, you’re now the Special Assistant to MC Group.” He barely even shows up for work, let alone handles his responsibilities, and he’s still mixed up with those Serpent-Demon Bull Gods from the Black Market.

”So annoying,” Owen cursed under his breath. That job was simply unsuited for humans; only someone ’not quite human,’ like Alan Morgan, could handle it.

”If you have the means, bring Alan Morgan back.”

With that, Maxwell Peary hung up.

Listening to the dial tone, Owen Lewis looked thoroughly disgusted. Damn it! The boss was clearly using him as a pawn! If Alan Morgan came back, he’d be working for Maxwell, yet *he* was the one expected to make the request.
