Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 588: Chapter 587: I Didn’t Do Anything

RRRRIP—

With the sharp sound, Owen Lewis swiftly and ruthlessly tore the tape from Sophia Moore’s mouth.

”Ah!”

An intense, stinging pain shot through her. Several patches of skin on Sophia Moore’s lips were torn, and beads of blood began to seep out.

The skin around her mouth rapidly reddened. She couldn’t stop herself from trying to rub her mouth with her bound hands.

”What on earth are you trying to do?” Sophia Moore yelled in fear, her voice trembling.

”What are we trying to do?” Owen Lewis nonchalantly raised an eyebrow, a dark aura emanating from him as if he had become demonic.

”Sophia Moore, do you even remember what you’ve done?” Owen Lewis observed Sophia Moore’s terrified face. For once, he seemed to be in a surprisingly good mood, wanting to thoroughly appreciate her expression. Look at her, so terrified, her whole body trembling, yet she still doesn’t have a shred of self-awareness.

”I... It wasn’t me! It wasn’t!” Sophia Moore shouted agitatedly, trying to stand up. But with her hands and feet bound, she couldn’t exert any strength at all.

”Heh.” Owen Lewis toyed with the Swiss Army Knife in his hand, scarcely believing his ears. Things had already reached this stage, yet instead of obediently admitting her mistake, she was here, trying to argue her way out of it. Will that do her any good?

”Sophia Moore, I originally planned to let you have a taste of suffering.” Owen Lewis sighed, then stood up and threw the Swiss Army Knife to the ground with a CLACK.

”But now I’ve decided against it.”

Sophia Moore felt a flicker of hope. Why did his words make it sound like he was going to let her go? Yet, the tone of his voice was utterly unconvincing.

Owen Lewis emanated an almost palpable, bloodthirsty aura that made one’s heart tremble uncontrollably. Sophia Moore went limp and slumped to the ground.

”I didn’t!”

”I didn’t do it!”

”I’m innocent!”

”I haven’t done anything! You can’t do this to me!”

Evidence? Does he have any evidence? What right does he have to say these things? I’m innocent; I haven’t done anything.

”Innocent?” Owen Lewis scoffed. He couldn’t believe he, of all people, would wrongly accuse someone.

”Are you saying Young Master Peary wrongly accused you?” Owen Lewis asked. How could Young Master Peary possibly wrongly accuse anyone? Even if he did, she’d just have to take it.

”No!” She said nothing more. She knew she couldn’t say such things. Young Master Peary... that was Young Master Peary.

Only now did it suddenly strike her that she must have been out of her mind to do such a thing.

”I haven’t done anything!” Terrified, she shuffled backward, not knowing what to do. She desperately wished that incident would just vanish, as if it had never occurred.

She had always thought that after what she did, Nia Mitchell wouldn’t have an easy time. But she never imagined that this Nia Mitchell would actually be so important to Maxwell Peary. Why had it turned out this way? That damn Nia Mitchell! She was just someone Alan Morgan brought into the company through connections. How did she manage to successfully latch onto a goldmine like Young Master Peary? Fury and regret consumed her! She wished she could rip Nia Mitchell to shreds! Everything that was happening today was all because of Nia Mitchell!

”I haven’t done anything!” Throughout the entire garage, only Sophia Moore’s terrified shrieks echoed. Fear permeated the air as she stared wide-eyed at Owen Lewis, who stood over there.

”Special Assistant Lewis, I really haven’t! Please, will you let me go?”

Owen Lewis looked at her state and shook his head.

”Honestly. I haven’t even said I’m going to do anything to you, and you’re already this terrified.”
