Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 589: Chapter 588: It’s Okay to Suffer a Bit

Owen Lewis’s words were like a divine melody from the heavens. Was he really going to let her go?

That would make sense. She was a woman, after all. How many men in this world would dare to harm a woman? Moreover, this Lewis looked every bit the gentleman.

”Thank you, thank you, Special Assistant, thank you...”

Young Master Peary!

Sophia Moore quietly noted to herself that she, too, must find support from a powerful figure. Only in this way could she genuinely protect herself. Today, they just wanted to give her a warning, to teach her a lesson.

She clenched her fists, her downcast eyes filled with vicious resentment.

Owen Lewis shook his head and leaned back into his chair.

”I originally wanted to make you suffer a little, but now... I’m prepared to ensure you’ve had your fill of suffering.”

Owen Lewis’s words pierced to the bone, causing her eyes to widen in terror.

Sophia Moore kept shaking her head. Seeing his demonic demeanor, she was terrified and longed to escape.

She abruptly stood up, bumping into one of the black-clad thugs.

”AH!”

Another man, not caring who was in front of him, punched Sophia Moore directly in the stomach.

”Behave yourself!” the goon roared, then kicked out, knocking Sophia Moore to the ground.

The thug she had bumped into stumbled and rubbed his chest, his eyes filled with rage.

”You little bitch, you dare to bump into me? I’ll make you pay for that!”

The thug’s large foot stomped on Sophia Moore’s abdomen, grinding down repeatedly.

”AAAH—”

Her bloodcurdling screams echoed through the garage. Those nearby heard them clearly. However, none of them were the type to meddle in others’ affairs. After all, that garage belonged to Young Master Peary.

Who would have thought a woman would dare to offend Young Master Peary, provoking him to such measures?

Inside the garage, Sophia Moore was in excruciating pain. Her abdomen cramped repeatedly, as if her internal organs were being churned. The immense pain slicked her forehead with a layer of sweat. This was just the beginning, yet she was already on the verge of collapsing.

Owen Lewis, listening to her agonizing cries, gestured with his hand.

One of the thugs, seeing his signal, immediately shouted, ”Stop!”

Sophia Moore lay gasping for breath on the ground, her bound hands clutching her abdomen tightly. The pain prevented her from uttering a single word, and she shivered uncontrollably.

”Are you still not going to tell the truth?” Owen Lewis asked.

He poured himself another glass of red wine. The crimson liquid in the stemmed glass added an ominous and eerie touch to the scene.

Sophia Moore lay there, twitching. Her face was so pale that her makeup could no longer conceal it.

”I... I’ll talk...”

She was just a woman accustomed to the comforts of a sheltered life. She had never experienced anything like this.

The pain made her words broken and halting.

”I... I shouldn’t have given the photos... to the Forum. I shouldn’t have... shouldn’t have let... them post that thread.”

She lay there, her voice barely a whisper.

Owen Lewis swirled the wine in his glass, a slight smirk playing on his lips. Seeing her state, he slowly rose to his feet.

”If only you had spoken earlier. See? You took this beating for nothing.”

Owen Lewis whispered softly, then slowly poured the remaining wine. The crimson liquid splashed onto Sophia Moore’s face.

”Sophia Moore, you’re the first person to dare post directly about Young Master Peary.”

It was true. Although she had consistently denied it, she had indeed posted that thread herself.
