Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 362: Chapter 361: Boss Zhong Can’t Leave Me Now

Or rather, even if I didn’t leave a bad impression on her. Today, I let Nia Mitchell watch me make a fool of myself for free. I bet she’s internally laughing her head off at me. Damn it, damn it, Nia Mitchell!

”CEO Mitchell, do you need me to see Miss Mitchell off?” Hazel Quartz smiled as she addressed Nia Mitchell as ’Miss Mitchell,’ cleverly distancing her from Star Media.

Edbert Mitchell furrowed his brow, looking at Hazel Quartz standing there.

”See her off then. After that, you can clock out.”

Edbert Mitchell glanced at the time; they had been working overtime frequently lately, and this secretary had indeed been working hard.

”Okay, CEO Mitchell.”

After Hazel Quartz led Nia Mitchell out of the CEO Office, a smile still hung on her face.

”We’re not strangers, so you won’t mind if I pack up my things first and then we can leave together, right?” Hazel Quartz said with a smile, looking at Nia Mitchell and pointing to the Secretary Department right next door.

Nia Mitchell naturally didn’t mind; after all, they had been colleagues once.

”Go on and tidy up. I’ll wait for you here.”

”Okay.”

Hazel Quartz turned and went back into the Secretary Department. As soon as she entered, many junior secretaries flocked around her, constantly chatting and laughing.

Nia Mitchell stood by the door waiting. She waited for a full half an hour before Hazel Quartz finally came out.

”I’m really sorry. I’m the chief secretary now, and many of the new junior secretaries come to me with every little thing. They can’t manage without me,” Hazel Quartz said, fluffing her wavy hair.

”No problem, let’s go.”

Nia Mitchell, in a rare display of good temper, didn’t take Hazel Quartz’s words to heart.

What Nia didn’t know was that it was precisely this unflappable nature of hers—the kind that wouldn’t show a ripple even if struck—that infuriated Hazel Quartz the most.

”Hmm, you came over today. Was it CEO Mitchell’s idea?” Hazel Quartz asked. Although Nia Mitchell had already said she was there on business, Hazel couldn’t help but try to find out more, just to put her own mind at ease.

”Just a small matter. Your work skills have improved a lot,” Nia Mitchell said, looking at Hazel. If it hadn’t been for recognizing her voice, Nia would have had trouble recognizing Hazel at first glance.

”Yes, CEO Mitchell trusts me and promoted me. I’ve indeed improved a lot recently. I’ve even started learning the work of an agent,” Hazel Quartz said with a smile, clearly very satisfied with her recent progress.

”An agent?” Nia Mitchell was taken aback. Only then did she remember that when Hazel Quartz first joined the company, she had mentioned her greatest ambition was to become an agent.

”Yes, you probably don’t remember my dream anymore. I feel like I’m getting closer and closer to it now, as if I could reach out and grasp it.” Hazel Quartz spoke with a smile about the future, her face full of longing. After finishing, she deliberately looked at Nia Mitchell, as if silently pleading with her not to shatter her dream.

”That’s great. Congratulations in advance.”

Nia Mitchell didn’t pay much attention to Hazel’s gaze, nor did she try to decipher what Hazel was trying to express.

”Thank you. By the way, I met Ethan Martinez the other day. He’s really handsome.”

Hazel Quartz and Nia Mitchell stepped into the elevator together, descending from the top floor. At that moment, the elevator was empty.

”He is indeed very handsome.”

Ethan Martinez was Star Media’s reigning superstar, famous throughout Asia. His divinely chiseled features had captivated countless young women, and his perfectly proportioned physique and magnetic singing voice were simply intoxicating. Most importantly, his acting skills were superb, and every film and television series he starred in topped the viewership rating charts.
