Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 275: Chapter 275: Hmph, Serves You Right!

As soon as Mi Cuicui heard Ye Haochuan’s words, she immediately realized that Butler Yang from her aunt’s family was giving Ye Haochuan a hard time. Her pretty face turned stern as she said, ”Butler Yang, what do you mean by this? Are you deliberately not wanting my cousin to recover from her foolishness forever?”

Butler Yang felt a hint of displeasure in his heart. Who does this young lady think she is, acting like she owns the place and bossing me around?

However, although that’s what he thought internally, he didn’t dare to express it outwardly. With a forced smile, he said, ”Miss Cuicui, what are you talking about? I was just trying to ask Doctor Ye to stay, but he insisted on leaving and was disrespectful, so...”

”So you let these bodyguards take care of him?” Mi Cuicui huffed.

”This...” Butler Yang stammered.

At this moment, Miao Hui came out and saw the household guards lying on the ground, groaning in pain, and her expression changed immediately.

”What happened here?” Miao Hui glanced at Mi Cuicui.

”It went like this...” Mi Cuicui recounted what had happened.

Miao Hui immediately frowned and rebuked, ”Butler Yang, you call yourself a good steward? How dare you hit a guest? Now apologize to Doctor Ye immediately!”

In front of Mrs. Liu, Butler Yang, wanting to keep his job, didn’t dare utter a word of refusal and reluctantly said, ”I’m sorry.”

Unfortunately, Ye Haochuan was not about to accept that. He huffed, ”I can’t accept such an insincere apology. I bid you farewell.”

Butler Yang’s face, which had been forced into a smile, now gradually darkened.

In his view, if he just humbled himself a little, apologized, and showed some submission, Ye Haochuan would have stayed. However, now it seemed that he was terribly mistaken.

As Mi Cuicui held onto Ye Haochuan, she immediately realized the seriousness of the situation. She quickly hinted at Miao Hui, ”Aunt, you have to say something. Do you really want your niece to remain foolish and silly for the rest of her life?”

When Mi Cuicui reminded her, Miao Hui shuddered and thought about how her daughter had changed from a lively and lovely teenager to a foolish girl over the past two or three years, which pained her heart.

”Butler Yang, do you still want to keep your job? Can’t you apologize properly? With sincerity!” Miao Hui said gravely, pulling a stern face.

Left with no choice, Butler Yang had to set aside his pride and apologized sincerely.

Only then did Ye Haochuan’s face look a little better, but seeing Miao Hui’s face, which showed not the slightest sign of regret, he felt somewhat uncomfortable.

Miao Hui, unaware of his thoughts, forced a smile and said, ”Doctor Ye, that Doctor Huo Tianxiang, who just offended you, I’ve already sent him packing. You can rest easy, Doctor Ye.”

Seizing the opportunity, Mi Cuicui shook Ye Haochuan’s arm coquettishly, ”Doctor Ye, feeling better now, right? Come on, for buying a Body-Strengthening Pill from Zhao Bingqian for 60 million just for your sake, please don’t be mad...”

”You’re the one who spent 60 million on the Body-Strengthening Pill?” Ye Haochuan blurted out.

”Why, doesn’t it seem likely?” Mi Cuicui said with a mischievous smile.

”You sure are willing to splurge...”

As Ye Haochuan was speaking, he suddenly felt a sharp gaze on him and turned to see that it was Fan Qingyin.

Seeing the half-smiling, half-serious expression on Fan Qingyin’s face, Ye Haochuan suddenly realized that this woman did not like seeing him getting too close to Mi Cuicui.

Damn, it was just some casual physical contact with Mi Cuicui. You’re not even my woman, is it necessary to hold such a deep grudge?

Ye Haochuan felt a bit annoyed and couldn’t be bothered with her piercing gaze.

Thanks to Mi Cuicui’s intervention and Su La’s persuasion to think of the greater good, Ye Haochuan’s relationship with Miao Hui somewhat improved.

But he was still a little dissatisfied with Miao Hui’s arrogant and commanding attitude.

Afterwards, led by Miao Hui and Mi Cuicui, Ye Haochuan, Su La, and Fan Qingyin entered Liu Jiajia’s room.

”Doctor Ye, please help her,” Mi Cuicui said with a hopeful expression as she turned to Ye Haochuan.

Ye Haochuan nodded, then shifted his gaze to Liu Jiajia.

At the moment, Liu Jiajia was lying in bed fully clothed. However, she wasn’t sleeping but staring at the ceiling with a wooden expression on her face.

She was rather attractive, with a decent figure as well. Judging from her looks, she must have been quite the beauty before falling ill.

In the room, a nanny was taking care of her with great attentiveness.

”Huh!”

Ye Haochuan suddenly felt something was amiss.

Next to him, Mi Cuicui asked in confusion, ”Doctor Ye, what’s wrong?”

Ye Haochuan pondered for a moment but didn’t speak. He walked straight to the bed, about to take Liu Jiajia’s hand, when Miao Hui began to make a scene again, scolding, ”Didn’t I tell you not to lay a hand on her?”

Damn, touching her is laying a hand on her?

Ye Haochuan was astonished and said, ”Mrs. Liu, I am a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, do you still want me to take your daughter’s pulse or not?”

”My daughter is precious, if you are to take her pulse, shouldn’t you at least wash your hands first?” Miao Hui said coldly.

Damn, your daughter is precious? What does that make me, a commoner? You think I’m dirty?

Ye Haochuan wanted to explode, but thinking that things had come to this point, if he couldn’t swallow his pride, he would be the one at a loss. Yet, letting it go that easily left him feeling discontent.

Suddenly, an idea flitted through his mind. Humph, so you don’t want me to touch your daughter, huh? Well, I’ll touch her and give her a full examination, damn it!

”All right, I’ll wash my hands first,” Ye Haochuan pretended to agree.

Only then did Miao Hui let the nanny bring over a basin of water for him to wash his hands.

Soon, the nanny brought over a basin of water with soap provided.

Ye Haochuan took the soap, washed his hands briefly, then dried them, and lifted Liu Jiajia’s hand, placing his fingers on her pulse. About ten seconds later, he activated his ”Perspective” ability to observe, and slowly started to make sense of her condition.

”Doctor Ye, how is my cousin?” Mi Cuicui couldn’t contain herself and asked again.

”Not bad, she can be cured,” Ye Haochuan said gravely.

This time, it was Miao Hui who couldn’t stay calm. Clutching her chest, she suppressed her heartbeat and said, ”Doctor Ye, can my Jiajia really be cured?”

Looking at her face full of surprise, Ye Haochuan felt disgusted inside but spoke earnestly, ”Curing her is not a problem. However, her symptoms are rather unique and require a special treatment method to be effective.”

”A special treatment method?” Miao Hui became puzzled.

”Well...” Ye Haochuan did not give a full explanation, ”Based on the diagnosis, she can be cured. You can rest assured about that.”

”That’s wonderful, that’s wonderful,” Miao Hui exclaimed joyously.

Her daughter’s illness had dragged on for two to three years without a cure. Hearing there was hope now, how could she not be overjoyed?

”Except for Mrs. Liu, please can everyone else step out for a moment? Without my instruction, no one is permitted to enter,” Ye Haochuan suddenly said, and everyone found it a bit strange, but they complied with his request and left, leaving only Miao Hui.

”Doctor Ye, what are you doing?” Miao Hui was very curious about his actions.
