Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 257: 257

Hearing Xiao Haimei say that Old Master Xiao had been kidnapped, Ye Haochuan’s face was filled with shock. From what Su Zehao implied, Old Master Xiao had an Innate Master protecting him, so he shouldn’t have been easily kidnapped, right?

”Who kidnapped Old Master Xiao?” Ye Haochuan asked in surprise.

”It was... my dad who kidnapped him,” Xiao Haimei almost cried as she spoke.

Damn, this Xiao Feng is really a beast, daring to lay hands on his own father.

Ye Haochuan cursed inwardly, wishing he could immediately return to the Xiao Family’s large estate and capture the beast, Xiao Feng.

At this moment, Su Zehao next to him sensed something was wrong and asked what had happened.

Ye Haochuan immediately related the situation of how Old Master Xiao had been kidnapped by his son, Xiao Feng.

Su Zehao’s face turned grave and said, ”Although our Su Group has always been at odds with the Xiao Group, I, Su Zehao, have great respect for Old Master Xiao. I didn’t expect he had such a beastly son. Let’s go and have a look together!”

Ye Haochuan was slightly hesitant at first, but thinking that having additional help was better, he nodded and said, ”Okay!”

Then, the two of them left behind the groaning members of the Tianyu Alliance and the Sun Moon Alliance and headed towards the Xiao family’s large estate.

At this moment, the Xiao family’s large estate had lost its previous festive atmosphere, and many guests were anxiously gathered around the villa.

Inside the villa, which was eerily silent with the doors and windows tightly shut, Old Master Xiao was being held hostage by his son Xiao Feng, his face showing anger but still maintaining his dignity, sitting majestically on the sofa in the living room.

On the sofa to the left, Yang Xue and Xiao Ding, mother and son, sat together, their faces filled with resentment as they looked at Old Master Xiao.

On the sofa on the right, Master Hao, Hao Wentong, was visibly displeased as he smoked a cigar and cursed, ”Damn it, I didn’t expect Xiao Haimei to have a master by her side. Otherwise, if we had taken her, that kid Ye Haochuan would’ve obediently complied.”

”Yes, Senior Brother Hao, I don’t even know who this Fan Qingyin really is? It turns out her martial skills are not bad, Junior Brother Liu was almost killed by her just now,” Yang Shaohai said casually while keeping an alert watch outside the villa door.

”Judging by Fan Qingyin’s style of martial skills, it’s mainly based on Charming Skills, so I’m certain that she’s from the Phantom Sound Sect,” Hao Wentong confidently exclaimed.

”Phantom Sound Sect?” Yang Shaohai was taken aback, ”That Fan Qingyin is from the Phantom Sound Sect? Her coming here to attend this old coot’s birthday celebration can’t be just for fun.”

The ’old coot’ he referred to was naturally Old Master Xiao.

Upon hearing this, how could Old Master Xiao not be enraged? He immediately shot a fierce glare at Yang Shaohai, staring daggers at him.

If looks could kill, Yang Shaohai wouldn’t know how many times he’d have been killed by now.

Yang Shaohai brazenly ignored it and snorted, ”Old coot, what are you looking at? It’s your son who’s dealing with you, not us. We’re just collaborating, get it?”

Old Master Xiao snorted heavily then turned to look at his son Xiao Feng, who was bold enough to kidnap him. Xiao Feng glanced guiltily at his father and then quickly shrank back.

At this moment, Yang Xue furiously scolded Xiao Feng, ”Useless thing, why don’t you hurry up and persuade your old man to pass on all the powers of the Xiao Group to you? If you dawdle any longer, once Ye Haochuan gets a firm foothold in the Xiao family, you won’t get a penny of the family’s fortune.”

Upon hearing this, Xiao Feng gritted his teeth and said, ”Dad...”

”Don’t call me dad, I have no such disgraceful beast for a son!” Old Master Xiao sternly interrupted.

Xiao Feng paused awkwardly, then continued, ”Dad, I’m doing this out of necessity, but you have to understand me. I am your son, your own flesh and blood. Why do you only favor that outsider Ye Haochuan and sideline your own son? Alright, even if you give him all the family’s fortune, will the Xiao Family still exist in the future?”

”Shut your mouth!” Old Master Xiao furiously shouted, ”Haimie is still your own daughter. When have you ever treated her as such over all these years? And when has that beast of a son of yours ever treated Haimie as his true sister? Damn it, scoundrels, even daring to harbor ill intentions towards your own sister...”

As he spoke, Old Master Xiao glared furiously at the decadent-faced Xiao Ding, who showed no interest at all and hung his head low.

Xiao Feng could only continue to persuade him, ”Dad, young people are bound to make mistakes sometimes. Why must you always dwell on this issue...”

”Young people are bound to make mistakes, but this kind of mistake is simply unforgivable! Including the mistake you’re making right now, don’t expect me to forgive you... Damn it, it’s outrageous, even daring to take your own father hostage. If it were in the past, I would have killed you with a slap!”

Old Master Xiao said furiously.

Seeing that his persuasions were ineffective, Xiao Feng ran out of patience and gritted his teeth, ”Dad, do you really need to be this ruthless?”

”Who exactly is being ruthless, you beast, you know it in your heart!” Old Master Xiao shouted angrily.

At that moment, Yang Xue spoke up, ”Hmph, old man, do you think we have no way out just because you refuse to pass on the family assets to your son? Let me tell you, most of the Xiao Family’s assets have been transferred by us. The Xiao Group is already just an empty shell now.”

”What?” Old Master Xiao frowned.

Yang Xue snorted coldly and said, ”If you don’t believe it, just ask your most trusted butler, Old Huang.” After saying that, she took out her cellphone, dialed Old Huang’s number, and asked him to come in.

Soon, the white-haired Old Huang arrived at the door, and Young Master Yang, who was keeping watch at the door, let him in.

As soon as Old Huang entered, Old Master Xiao’s eyes fixed on him; the former looked guilty and dared not meet his gaze.

Old Master Xiao’s heart immediately sank.

At that moment, Yang Xue snorted coldly and said, ”Old Huang, tell us, how much assets does the Xiao Family still have?”

”This... this...” Old Huang stammered.

Old Master Xiao demanded, ”How much assets are there exactly?”

Only then did Old Huang say, ”Apart from Haishan University which is registered under the name of the young lady, all other assets have already been sold and renamed... As for the companies under the Xiao Group, all assets have been transferred, and they’ve all become empty shells...”

”What?” Old Master Xiao suddenly felt angina pectoris, very uncomfortable.

After a while, Old Master Xiao barely recovered and shouted angrily, ”Old Huang, you have some nerve. I trusted you so much, yet you backstabbed me, betraying me!”

”Master, I had no choice. The young lady... the young lady had people seize my family. If I didn’t listen to her, she was going to kill my family members. I really had no other way, Master...” Old Huang said in agonizing despair.

Old Master Xiao was both furious and enraged and said, ”But how could these assets be sold and renamed without my consent?”

Yang Xue sneered, ”You’ll have to ask your son about that. He took your personal seal and forged your signature. With his identity, completing the procedures for selling and renaming was no trouble at all.”

Old Master Xiao was immediately overcome with fury and collapsed onto the couch, unconscious, as he could not catch his breath and suffered a myocardial infarction.

Upon seeing this, Hao Wentong thought that he still needed Old Master Xiao to threaten Ye Haochuan and hoped he wouldn’t die just like that.

He stepped forward to check his breath, and finding none, Hao Wentong suddenly jumped up, ”Shit! He’s dead!”

Everyone around was startled. Without Old Master Xiao as a hostage, how could they force Ye Haochuan to comply?

At that moment, Young Master Yang, who was keeping watch at the door, warned, ”Ye Haochuan is coming.”
