Chapter 258: Chapter 258: Hidden Illness

Ye Haochuan and Su Zehao still didn’t know that Old Master Xiao had passed away. As soon as they arrived at the Xiao Family mansion, they first found Xiao Haimei.

At this moment, Xiao Haimei had completely lost her reason. She had tried several times to rush into the villa to negotiate with her ruthless and unscrupulous father, but each time she was dissuaded by her best friend Fan Qingyin.

The reason was simple.

They specifically asked to see Ye Haochuan, clearly having some conditions for negotiation. If Xiao Haimei went in to negotiate and also fell into their hands, Ye Haochuan would be even more disadvantaged later on.

”Haochuan...”

Upon seeing Ye Haochuan, the distraught Xiao Haimei suddenly found her pillar of strength, throwing herself into his broad embrace, crying her heart out.

Embracing Xiao Haimei, feeling her body rubbing against his, Ye Haochuan’s heart was devoid of any other thoughts, filled only with affection and pity.

Just think about it, her father had kidnapped her grandfather; what the hell was this all about?

”Sister Mei, don’t worry, I’m here,” Ye Haochuan comforted her, and Xiao Haimei’s emotions gradually calmed down.

”What exactly happened?” Ye Haochuan asked.

Xiao Haimei then explained the situation.

After Ye Haochuan and Su Zehao left the Xiao Family mansion to have their duel, Xiao Haimei’s father, Xiao Feng, and stepmother, Yang Xue, quietly returned, bringing three mysterious experts. They subdued the bodyguards accompanying Old Master Xiao one by one without attracting attention, then kidnapped Old Master Xiao, and everyone else in the villa was forced out as well.

Fan Qingyin frowned and said, ”Mr. Ye, it’s all up to you now. They just said that as long as you go in and talk to them.”

The ”they” she referred to were naturally Xiao Feng, Yang Xue, and their associates.

Ye Haochuan nodded, about to enter the villa when he suddenly had a notion. He activated his Perspective Eyes and saw that the living room was empty of Old Master Xiao’s presence.

Looking up, he finally spotted Old Master Xiao lying down resting in his own bedroom.

Strange, to be kidnapped and still have the mood to sleep? This old man was really calm.

Ye Haochuan found it odd but didn’t dwell on it. At that moment, Su Zehao whispered to him, ”That Innate Master is over there, if we can get his help, rescuing Old Master Xiao will be as easy as turning one’s hand.”

Ye Haochuan was surprised, and following Su Zehao’s gaze, he saw an old man hunched over, his face full of age-old wrinkles, squatting beside a garden. His murky eyes stared fixedly at the situation inside the villa, his expression filled with anxiety and anger.

In the old man’s hand was a small spade, and his clothes were that of a servant’s, suggesting he was one of the menials of the Xiao Family mansion.

Even though the old man appeared unremarkable, Ye Haochuan understood that many Innate Masters, once their Martial Skills reached a certain level, would appear simple and unadorned, returning to a state of natural simplicity.

Ye Haochuan’s heart tensed and he quickly asked Xiao Haimei, ”Sister Mei, who is that old man?”

Xiao Haimei was somewhat perplexed by his question but still responded, ”That’s Uncle Fu. He has been working in grandfather’s garden as long as I can remember, and nearly all the plants and flowers in the Xiao Family mansion are cared for by him.”

”Hey, this old man really keeps a low profile, who knew he was such a skilled expert...” Ye Haochuan chuckled.

Xiao Haimei, slightly annoyed, scolded, ”What skilled expert? Uncle Fu is a good person, not as filthy as what you’re thinking.”

Dammit, I’m talking about picking flowers, as in these flowers, not those flowers, okay? You’re the one with the dirty mind, and now you’re blaming me.

Ye Haochuan was somewhat speechless, but given the current situation, he really didn’t have the time to argue with her and said in a low voice, ”This Uncle Fu is not a person to be underestimated. Go get someone to call him over, I need to discuss something with him.”

”Oh.” Xiao Haimei had unconditional trust in him and immediately ordered a servant to fetch Uncle Fu.

Soon, Uncle Fu came over, hunching his back.

Ye Haochuan observed carefully and saw that despite Uncle Fu’s advanced age and hunched figure, his body was robust, and his footsteps were steady and solid, revealing a bit of the demeanor of a master.

Ye Haochuan instantly had a plan and as soon as Uncle Fu arrived, got straight to the point in a low voice, ”Uncle Fu, I already know your true skills. Now I need your cooperation to help with something.”

Uncle Fu was momentarily stunned, and a flicker of clarity shone in his murky eyes but quickly faded away as he said, ”Son-in-law Sun, please speak, I am willing to assist with all my strength.”

Ye Haochuan was overjoyed and then laid out his plan.

Uncle Fu nodded repeatedly to indicate his understanding.

Afterward, Ye Haochuan called Su Zehao over, and after discussing together, they devised a strategy to rescue Elder Xiao and deal with those three mysterious experts.

Then, under the watchful eyes of the guests, Ye Haochuan strode proudly to the villa entrance.

Yang Shaohai, waiting at the door, hurriedly brought him inside and led him to the reception hall.

Upon seeing him, Yang Xue immediately stood up and furiously said, ”Ye Haochuan, quickly cure the hidden illness of my son, or else I’ll never let Xiao Haimei see her grandfather again!”

Ye Haochuan smiled sarcastically, ”What hidden illness does your son have?”

”My son has ended up like this all because of you, don’t you know that?” Yang Xue said through clenched teeth.

”Unable to perform as a man, is that it?” Ye Haochuan chuckled darkly.

”Since you know, why don’t you save him quickly?” Yang Xue said with hatred.

”Such a simple problem, do you still need me to save him? Just blow on him a couple of times, wouldn’t that do the trick?” Ye Haochuan said with a half-lidded smirk.

”Blow? How to blow?” In her haste, Yang Xue failed to catch the implication of his words.

Ye Haochuan could hardly stop himself from laughing and continued, ”Pull his pants down and blow on him a few times; wouldn’t your son be able to perform then? Hehe!”

Only then did Yang Xue realize what he meant, and in a fit of enraged embarrassment, she snapped, ”Ye Haochuan, you are shameless!”

Slap!

Ye Haochuan slapped the solid mahogany tea table, and with several cracking sounds, the sturdy table fell apart.

While Xiao Feng and Yang Xue stood there dumbfounded, Ye Haochuan shouted, ”You have the nerve to talk to me about shamelessness? You’re willing to harm your own family members, so who is really shameless here?”

His words left Xiao Feng and Yang Xue speechless.

After a while, Yang Xue angrily said again, ”Ye Haochuan, will you save my son or not? Otherwise, we’ll all go down together. I’d rather die, but listen carefully, if you don’t save my son, that old man won’t live either...”

Damn it, this woman had gone mad!

Ye Haochuan still had to consider Xiao Haimei’s feelings; if he couldn’t save her grandfather, she would probably be unhappy for the rest of her life. Oh well, better to calm her down first.

With that thought, Ye Haochuan approached Xiao Ding, who was like a walking corpse, and used a unique technique to quickly release the restraint on his lower body.

”There, your beast of a son is fine now. If you don’t believe it, let him check in the bathroom himself.”

Only then did Yang Xue let Xiao Feng come over, and together they supported the son to the bathroom. Soon after, the three of them emerged, their faces beaming with joy.

Especially Xiao Ding, who was ecstatic, ”I’ve finally become a normal man again...”

Dammit, you’re actually proud to announce such a shameful thing?

Ye Haochuan was simply at a loss for words.

”Now, there shouldn’t be any issues left. You can let go of Elder Xiao, right?” Ye Haochuan said to Xiao Feng and Yang Xue.

Xiao Feng and Yang Xue had a look of oddity on their faces.

Just as Ye Haochuan felt something was odd, Hao Wentong, who had been sitting on the sofa without a word, suddenly chuckled, ”Junior Brother Ye, since Xiao Ding’s issue is resolved, it’s time to settle our own scores.”
