”So, this ordinary strong one spoken about by the merchants usually have brainwave powers that cannot compare with mine at all. I often use brainwave power to enhance my body for long distance flight, but ordinary strong ones couldn’t possibly fly as far as I do because their brainwave powers are simply insufficient.”

As Jia Yan thought about this, the brilliance in his Compound Eyes intensified even more.

”In that case, might I be able to endure the brainwave power consumption of this Armor?”

Meanwhile, the short merchant on the other side was watching Jia Yan’s massive body walking around aimlessly on the flat ground outside the house for a full ten minutes without showing any signs of discomfort, which also took him by surprise.

You see, ordinary strong ones with brainwave power would already have been drained significantly by the Armor at this point—even if it was not beyond what they could withstand, they would still feel some fluctuations in their brainwave power.

Yet, this strong one had been wearing the Armor for so long without any sign of instability in his brainwave power, which was truly miraculous.

He did not think it was because Jia Yan’s total brainwave power exceeded that of other strong ones; rather, he believed it might be because this strong one had better brainwave power stability, which was not impossible.

Jia Yan did not test any further. With the tests done here, he had a rough idea of the Armor’s performance under normal conditions. As for how it would perform in combat, that could not be tested here and would have to be seen during actual combat.

”Alright, I’ll take this Armor,” Jia Yan said indifferently as he returned to the short merchant.

”Okay, Lord! I will handle the paperwork for you right away,” the merchant responded with joy, then walked off to the side.

”Wait! I want this Armor.”

Just as they were about to complete the transaction, a voice suddenly appeared beside them!

Jia Yan felt a moment of discomfort in his heart, turning his gaze towards the source of the outburst.

There, a monster that looked to be about twenty-five or twenty-six meters tall, with a stout stature and four arms despite walking on two legs, was there seemingly amused, looking at Jia Yan.

”Uh,” the short merchant, who had just pulled out the paperwork, was suddenly stunned.

The four-armed monster slowly approached, looking unhappily at Jia Yan wearing the Armor.

”Luo, I told you to keep this Armor aside for me for a few days, how could you have almost sold it today? Don’t you trust me!”

He roared softly, filled with anger, toward the merchant.

”Th-this this... Lord Bros, you were not satisfied the last time you came, were you?” The short merchant, whose name turned out to be Luo, looked at the newcomer with a panicked expression.

This Bros, being a member of the Bitter Flying Group, although not a core member, nearly held absolute authority here and there were no forces or strong ones who dared to confront him.

”I wasn’t satisfied? Which eye of yours saw me unsatisfied? I am saying now I want it, one million Lutz Empire Currency, right? I’ll transfer it to you right now,” Bros said.

Bros took out his Smart Brain, then directly operated on it, after which, Jia Yan heard a series of prompt tones from Luo’s Smart Brain.

As this scene unfolded before him, Jia Yan was not too surprised or scared, just looked on indifferently.

After the transfer was complete, Bros turned around; since he was standing upright, and Jia Yan, who wasn’t deliberately standing straight, wasn’t as tall as he was, making Bros appear very sturdy and magnificently tall.

”Now you, hurry up and take it off, I’ve already bought the Armor,” Bros barked loudly.

Unfazed by Bros’ loud scolding, Jia Yan simply turned his gaze towards Luo. The short merchant, looking at both Jia Yan and Bros, seemed somewhat agitated and at a loss for words at that moment.

”Luo, right? I bought it first, now you tell us, to whom should this Armor belong?” he asked directly.

”You said you bought it first just because you say so? I have already paid, that’s what counts as buying first, get it!” Bros shouted from the side.

The truth was, he regretted not buying the Armor during his previous visits. Although he was unsatisfied at the time, after returning, he heard that a Starry Sky Level Expert from the Bitter Flying Group, well-known for his brainwave power, might appreciate this Armor. Perhaps gifting it could earn him a favorable position, propelling his status overnight.

Therefore, he had hurried over, tragically, just as Jia Yan was purchasing the Armor, leading to the current scene.

”Bought first? I am already wearing it, and he had taken out the paperwork already, isn’t this what you call buying first? Enough now, don’t block my shopping anymore, I still have matters to attend to after finishing this transaction,” Jia Yan said indifferently, stepping forward towards the short merchant, preparing to make the transaction using his Smart Brain.

”Kid, I respect you as a strong one, don’t push your luck!” Bros said darkly from behind Jia Yan.

Jia Yan simply ignored it, just processing the transaction amount from his Smart Brain to Luo’s electronic bank.

”Bastard! It seems you don’t know who I am. Let me show you right now just who Bros is!”
