Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

The space transfer ability of the Anglaybeth was something different from the gravitational wave system Jia Yan had previously experienced.

After experiencing it firsthand, Jia Yan understood the differences.

First, the method of space transfer was fundamentally different from the gravitational wave system; it likely utilized an energy system that Jia Yan had never encountered before.

This system ejected objects by compressing its own existing space, and this ejection did not even adhere to normal physical rules. Jia Yan couldn’t explain it well, but he understood that in this system, his body, along with the flyer, were both launched distantly, and then, in a moment’s time that almost lacked any interval, he arrived in this region.

”This system hasn’t even been theorized in the Orion Arm, which suggests that the technological strength in this starfield far exceeds that of the Orion Arm!”

Jia Yan was only now coming to realize the formidable technological strength within this starry sky.

Nevertheless, he continued to operate the flyer, speeding towards the distance.

He knew that the spatial fluctuations that had occurred here would not go unnoticed by the powerful forces in the vicinity.

True enough, not long after Jia Yan left, a small battleship quickly approached this relatively quiet area!

This battleship was no ordinary battleship but one with enhanced speed; its cruising velocity was even faster than the flyer Jia Yan was currently operating.

However, the battleship was too late. Even if Jia Yan’s flyer wasn’t as fast, he had already been gone for quite some time, and the vast universe was not so easily navigated!

The battleship could only circle the area for a while before leaving in frustration.

Jia Yan was unaware of the scene that took place behind him, but he could roughly guess what had happened—considering the significant disturbance he had caused, he didn’t believe that the forces in this heavily guarded region could have failed to detect the disturbance.

Fortunately, he was no longer just relying on his own flight to evade his enemies. He now had a flyer with respectable speed!

Jia Yan kept a watchful eye on what lay behind him. After some time, not having seen any sign of pursuers, he felt a slight relief at the bottom of his heart.

Being completely unfamiliar with this area, it was best not to draw the attention of those powers.

In the vastness of the universe, flying could be quite monotonous.

Having flown for some time, Jia Yan began to explore his own body.

He had not thoroughly examined his body since it had fully healed.

Jia Yan referred to the energy recovery as ’recovery,’ but he knew that after being nourished by the fire energy ore, his body was far beyond what could be described by mere ’recovery.’

Or rather, Jia Yan now felt that his body had become more refined, and there was a form of energy different from before the loss of power coursing through his body. It seemed that his physical strength was even more formidable than it had been in the past.

”Good, my combat power now is far greater than before, even greater than before I came to this starfield! Therefore, my odds of success in the upcoming events should be higher!”

Having completed his inspection, Jia Yan felt that his body was at its absolute peak in this moment, with both his combat power and energy at their fullest.

Having done everything he could, Jia Yan felt that if he could not obtain what he wanted in this desolate starfield, then it would just be fate!

”Hmm... All right, the immediate priority is to find a place for a thorough surveillance of the situation and to see if there is an opportunity to infiltrate the so-called Origin of Chaos Stones.”

After devising a plan for his next moves, Jia Yan observed the outside world through the viewport of the flyer.

Actually, in this starry sky, there were too many potential landing spots. Even with the naked eye, he could see several space cities and planets shimmering with light, diligently beckoning customers.

After observing for a moment, Jia Yan made a decision right away.

The Anglaybeth turned and headed towards a small interstellar object flying in space!

There, the setting seemed less bustling than other places, which was precisely what Jia Yan wanted.

Bitter Flying Group.

This was a temporary star dwelling point set up by space mercenaries.

There was no order here, no rules, and without official oversight, even killing and crime were permissible.

The only concern was the power of officials.

The landing of a small flyer drew the attention of many creatures.

”How boring, another flyer that only the Strong Ones can pilot. It seems there’s no easy pickings left at this temporary dwelling point.”

A group of roughly ten large creatures lamented as they watched the approaching flyer.

The other creatures paid no attention to this group; most of them still had their eyes greedily fixed on the landing flyer, as if they were watching prey.

They all harbored the extravagant hope that the creature disembarking the flyer would be a being of lesser strength, although such a possibility was not very likely.

However, when the flyer landed and the creature inside stepped out on all fours, the majority of the creatures could be faintly heard issuing deep sighs of regret.

It turned out to be an extremely formidable monster, made apparent by its sheer size—an intimidating thirty-plus meters long, nearly matching the stature of some of the Strongest in this place!
