Many strong ones inquired about this armor, some of which were even star-level existences!

However, after being moved, they calmed down and none of them ended up purchasing it.

In this illegal assembly point of the Bitter Flight Group, odd artifacts like these were everywhere; some indeed had practical uses, while others were utterly meaningless, and this piece of armor sold by the merchant was deemed as one of the latter.

After all, in the surge of technology, some items were indeed created at a tremendous cost, but it wasn’t certain that all these items were effective.

Other strong ones had also made this conclusion about the armor, even though some had tested its capabilities; yet, facing only a few minutes of combat capability, they all backed off in the end!

It wasn’t entirely useless, but compared to the price, it just wasn’t worth it.

”What? Two million Lutz Empire Yuan? Why don’t you rob someone.”

Jia Yan was like that too; when he heard the price, he nearly bulged his eyes out.

You should know his Antalya model had only cost him three hundred thousand Lutz Empire Yuan, and now this armor was priced at two million right off the bat!

”Forget it, I might as well take a look at others I recognize.” Jia Yan also felt defeated, despite having enough funds; after all, this was the result of ’robberies’... ah no, trades over the past six months. If he spent two million all at once, especially on such an uncertain piece of armor, he would absolutely feel miserable.

Previously, he thought the armor might remarkably enhance the brainwave power of his evolutionary creature, which had somewhat excited him, but the steep price instantly dissipated his interest.

”Lord, we can negotiate the price; the lowest is one million five hundred thousand, definitely below my cost price. You shouldn’t miss out!”, the petite merchant, seeing Jia Yan about to leave, suddenly became anxious.

Actually, today was a moment of desperation for him, having invested all his assets into this armor, only to find he couldn’t sell it and his funds were now stuck, leading him to the brink of bankruptcy.

Otherwise, why would he be on the streets, pulling over anyone who looked like a strong one?

”One million five hundred thousand...” Jia Yan’s steps hesitated. He had about two million five hundred thousand in hand, and if the armor cost one million five hundred thousand, then he would still have one million left. This would allow him to navigate through any situation.

However, Jia Yan wasn’t going to simply purchase it; one million five hundred thousand could buy a small battleship from a second-hand dealer, though it wouldn’t be one with good performance, of course.

”Can I test it?” Jia Yan finally turned around under the hopeful gaze of the petite merchant and asked directly.

”Yes, of course!” Feeling that the strong lord might still make the purchase, the petite merchant nodded eagerly.

Jia Yan followed him back to the large house used as their warehouse.

The merchant hurried to disable some of the security devices. Soon after, Jia Yan stepped inside.

Beep beep beep.

The armor emitted a series of sounds; then Jia Yan approached, and it automatically detected him, transforming some of its key parts.

Jia Yan stood still and watched the armor, just like the cockpit of his flyer, come right up to him, then adjust to fit his figure.

Jia Yan appreciated the ingenious design, noticing areas that endured more force—this armor automatically determined they needed reinforcement and did just that!

”Just from the automated fitting system alone, it truly is top-notch!” A flash of awe appeared in his eyes.

Actually, he was still wearing his previous armor, unable to take it off, but the merchant’s armor completely encompassed his previous armor, sealing it tightly.

Quickly dressed in the armor, its color was a brilliant gold, very conspicuous in daylight.

It fitted him perfectly, allowing Jia Yan maximum relaxation in all his joints, yet the defense level was also not poor.

Jia Yan tried moving a bit, feeling barely any hindrance.

So far, so good.

But now came the real issue!

He activated the armor’s operating system; these systems are usually of a confidential type, especially for expensive armor like this, featuring a unique system that almost completely prevents external tampering.

After the system was activated, Jia Yan inside the armor could feel its internal power system starting up.

”The only issue is, if it doesn’t activate combat mode, how well can my brainwave power sustain a fight...”

Jia Yan pondered for a moment, then on the control panel, he found the brainwave power mode.

Actually, this switch was very quick; it was just that Jia Yan wasn’t familiar with it, so it took some time.

Hum hum hum hum...

A slight feeling of strength absorbed the brainwave power Jia Yan was actively emitting.

He immediately felt as though his own strength was being rapidly dispersed.

His massive body slowly started moving.

It was an extraordinary sensation; if Jia Yan used his brainwave power to move himself forward or to make his body fly, then his brainwave power would certainly be depleted much more. Yet, through this armor, his brainwave power consumption was minimal!
