Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3294 Icefire Twins

Davis flew towards the mansion that Frostrose and Flamerose supposedly occupied. He could sense them, so he imagined that they were present.

Right now, all the mansions on the island were owned by his women, so it was easy for them to lend it to whomever they wanted.

ʼDamn… this was my private island… full of beautiful women who belongs to me…ʼ

With Myria essentially accepting him, he realized he would be some sleazy billionaire in the modern world owning a private island all to himself. It was sad that he had to leave soon.

Otherwise, he couldʼve spent thousands of years growing his family before he decided to ascend to the true immortal world.

As he fantasized about the many children he was going to create with his beauties, he arrived at a mansion.

He released his aura, causing two figures to rush out within a few seconds.

”Davis…”

Mistress Zahara spoke with a low voice. Her steaming, loud voice was nowhere to be heard. Instead, she looked at Davis with a complicated expression as well as an anxious gaze.

”You two… come at me.”

Davis raised his hand and beckoned at them with his finger, ”I want to see how strong the both of you have become.”

His gesture was extremely rude, causing Mistress Zahara to shudder.

She clenched her teeth and jumped as she extended her hand out to the sides. As she lifted her fingers, the fabric of her robe billowed like the wings of a majestic bird about to take flight.

*Szzz!~*

The air crackled with flame energy, and the atmosphere became charged with an impending force. A giant fire phoenix wing appeared from the shadow of her figure before it blotted out the skies as she waved her hand, causing the wings behind her to unleash a sea of phoenix flames.

The fiery plume flailed majestically, catching the eye with its vibrant shades of scarlet, orange, and gold.

The terrifying flames coalesced into a torrent of intense flames that washed toward Davis and completely engulfed him, trying to burn him into ashes.

But they suddenly dispersed like the attack was a mere ball of flame that was eradicated by a breeze of wind.

Both Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyin saw that he only needed to wave his hand to cancel Zaharaʼs King-Tier Phoenix Flames, whose prowess was already six levels higher.

”I said for the both of you to attack me.” Davisʼs voice echoed out coldly, his tone imposing.

”Why?”

Echoed Mistress Yeyin.

However, she didnʼt receive an answer, causing her to grit her teeth and soar into the air like her twin sister.

She joined hands with Mistress Zahara, causing the latter to turn shocked, wondering if they were truly going to go all out on him. However, considering that he was asking for it and was even acting aggressively, they felt like they had no choice but to do it.

Fire and ice began to converge in the space between their palms where their hands connected. They coalesced into one and flowed out and formed into a scarlet-white wisp. In the center, there was a tinge of gold that released a glorious shine.

Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyin stretched their fingers while the tip of the fingers still touched before they flung the scarlet-white wisp at Davis.

”Careful!”

Their melodious voices echoed with worry, but scarlet-white wisp grew a few meters tall.

It was silent, not releasing much undulations nor sound, but when it appeared closer to Davis, he narrowed his eyes and raised his hand to touch.

*Cszk!*

The icefire wisp exploded on him, leaving behind a bloody crystallized statue of him, causing the twin phoenixes to be alarmed.

His arm remained stretched out while his fingers seemingly pointed towards them.

He didnʼt even bother to defend?

However, they saw the crystalline figure crack and fall off, revealing Davisʼs skin that was unharmed before he fully shook off the crystal and stepped out, patting his robe.

ʼHe… he defended that attack with his martial protective energy alone…ʼ

Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyin were full of shock.
The attack they unleashed… was eight levels higher, but even someone with a prowess of nine levels higher, like Davis, would dare take their attack. They didnʼt know that Davis had far exceeded his past self that they knew, so they still thought that they could somewhat struggle against him, but watching him not even bother to seriously defend against their attack, they came to know his unbelievable strength.

”That was excellent. Even an Empyreal Monarch wouldnʼt dare to endure this attack….”

Davis was full of smiles, ”Come. Letʼs go in and talk.”

”…”

Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyin looked at each other. They were confused as to what an Empyreal Monarch was but could still tell that they were taken in by his pace. However, they had no choice but to follow, causing them to invite him into the mansion they were staying.

The Fire Phoenix quickly served him tea, causing Davis to not hesitate as he quickly drank the cup.

This made Mistress Zahara at least know that he was not as hostile or aggressive as she initially thought and became scared.

”Forgive my rudeness, fairies.”

Davis finally opened his mouth but saw that they were both a bit exhausted from their eyes, ”I heard you both donated your King-Tier Blood Essences to Shirley through Dalilaʼs help yesterday. I wanted to thank you personally and also heal you.”

He placed the cup on the table between them, causing Mistress Zahara to shake her head.

”Ellia already healed us. We only need to rest a bit…”

”That wonʼt do. Elliaʼs life energy is good, but her prowess makes it somewhat difficult to heal you two fully…”

Davis raised both his hands, and a white wisp flowed out, splitting into two as they fell on the both of them.

”Ah~”

Mistress Zahara was shaken by the vitality and huge capacity of the soul force filled with life energy. It was ridiculously strong, making her feel like she could die from the overwhelming healing speed.

Similarly, Mistress Yeyin was also amazed, but she kept quiet and remained staring at him as he began to talk about a few things from his adventure, explaining about the Transcendent System and the geniuses he faced there, including Kingly Monarchs and Empyreal Monarchs.

They blinked, wondering how there could be so many heavenly geniuses who were ridiculously powerful.

After healing them, Davis finished his story right around that time and brought his hands back.

”Have you two regained your true memories?”

”We…”

”No.”

Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyin shook their heads, causing Davis to frown as he wondered why the World Master didnʼt lift a spell on them when he got his memories of the time when the World Master protected him from a tribulation.

He wondered if the World Master didnʼt bother to release the spell on them or if it was permanent. Either way, he felt compelled to say.

”You two may have forgotten your origin, but your people in the true immortal worldʼs Fire Phoenix Clan still remember the legend of your sacrifice.”

”…!”

”W-What do you mean?”

Mistress Yeyin slightly leaned forward, her gaze flickering.

However, Davis merely shrugged as he just said what he overheard Cassia Auraflame muttering.

He explained how he encountered the Auraflame Family and that their names were most likely Flamerose Auraflame and Frostrose Auraflame, twins who were born in the Auraflame Family of the Fire Phoenix Lower Realm of that time.

He further explained how evil Reselius Zenflame was and his plans to overthrow the Auraflame Clan using so many devious methods while even borrowing the influence of the Seven-Colored Phoenix Upper Realmʼs Skytune Clan.

The truth of their origin caused Mistress Zahara and Mistress Yeyin to remain dumbfounded, not knowing what to say as this was all foreign and mystical to them, considering that they had their memories of living here as a denizen of the First Haven World and didnʼt even think it was possible to ascend to the true immortal world so quickly.

”A bit later, perhaps a few days from now or a few weeks, Iʼm going to massacre the Fire Phoenix Clanʼs Zenflame Clan. Do the two of you have anything to say?”

*Whoosh!~*

Mistress Zahara quickly got off her seat and went on her knees as she trembled.

”I beg of you. Please spare the children… the young ones…”

Her voice shuddered as she pleaded, precisely afraid of this ending that she didnʼt want to see.

Mistress Zaharaʼs words caused Davisʼs eyes to narrow.

”You would ask me to spare them, knowing that these young ones would become the seed of hatred that seeks vengeance against my offspring or even against your Auraflame Clanʼs young ones?”
