Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3288 Hide And Seek

After Davis left, Evelynn turned to look at the others.

Everything was going well ever since he returned. It wasnʼt like she didnʼt even need to raise a finger to get things done, not to mention she felt safer than ever, especially for her children.

”Schleya, have you become pregnant?”

She asked, suddenly making the buzzing crowd incredibly attentive.

Schleyaʼs heart shook as she felt this prickly sensation from most of the ladies. Depending on her answer, they may very well treat her accordingly.

She lowered her head, feeling her cheeks heat up as she didnʼt expect to be asked this kind of question so openly.

”No…”

Both answers were embarrassing for her as it was well-known Shea got pregnant the first time she was intimate with Davis. If she could do it, whatʼs stopping them?

It was an illogical question, but it would still get asked of them, not anyone but themselves.

Many heaved a sigh of relief secretly while Isabella and Shirley shook their heads.

”Itʼs not something you get on the first try, so donʼt worry.”

”If you did- well, you wouldʼve become public enemy number two.”

”So Iʼm still number one…”

”Ahaha~”

Shea hid her face, causing the others to laugh.

However, there were two women who didnʼt laugh but merely smiled lightly as though something was on their minds.

Evelynn spotted them and opened her mouth.

”Bylai. Zestria. Whatʼs wrong?”

”…!”

Bylai and Zestria came out of their reverie. Their expressions turned a bit awkward before Bylai reluctantly moved her lips.

”He… he didnʼt say anything about us.”

The laughing sounds receded, and everyone turned to look at Bylai and Zestria. Naturally, they also noticed, but their expressions were all strange.

”Didnʼt you understand him?” Evelynnʼs brows narrowed.

”Understood…”

Bylai shuddered as she lowered her head. She imagined that she was speaking out of place.

Zestria was also about to lower her head but saw Evelynn heave a sigh as she held her stomach.

”You two. Heʼs saying that you can ask him anytime you want, whether it be tomorrow or years later. In other words, heʼs open to marrying you two right now.”

”…!”

Bylai and Zestria became stunned.

Isabella walked forward and reached out their hands to hold theirs.

”You two were sent to us as sacrifices when I demanded your families end. But instead of ending you two and making an example, he understood your circumstances. I believe he wants to marry you two together just like he wishes for Panqa and Lanqua to marry him together. Isnʼt that right?”

Suddenly brought into question, Panqa and Lanqua looked at each other before their lovely smiles dazzled everyone in the place.

”No matter where we go-”

”-weʼre always together.”

They held hands, leaving everyone thinking these twins were too adorable.

ʼSee?ʼ
Isabella gestured with her eyes to Bylai and Zestria as though indicating to them.

”Of course, our Emperor doesnʼt expect the same from you two and doesnʼt know your thoughts. Thatʼs why he asked if anyone had any problem, but you two remained silent.”

”Thatʼs…” Bylaiʼs cheeks turned red as she turned to look at the crimson-robed woman beside her.

”I thought Zestria would ask…”

”I thought Bylai would ask…”

Zestria returned the same words, causing the both of them to feel extreme embarrassment.

”Why are you two afraid to offend him?” Suddenly, Mingzhi intervened, ”Of course, you should be afraid to offend, but for these types of things, itʼs best if you impose on him.”

”Well, your thoughts are also in sync. Itʼs no wonder he would want to marry you two as a pair.” Shirley giggled.

Their thoughts finally made Bylai and Zestria understand, causing them to look at each other with strange emotions in their eyes.

What did they have to fear?

Even the big three in front of them, Evelynn, Isabella, and Shirley, shared a bed with him at the same time.

Besides, Bylai even slept along with Lea, Tina, and Dalila in order to snare his heart. What did she have to hesitate when it came to Zestria, with whom she shared a similar fate back then?

Zestria had also slept along with others when she helped him train with her destructive heavenly flames.

Bylai and Zestria. The two of their thought processes suddenly underwent a change, and they decided on the same thing together with determination oozing out of their eyes.

Why them…?

The answer was clear.

It was because without Bylai, he wouldnʼt have created Calypsea as he wouldʼve never gotten to that underground cave and had inspiration, and without Zestria, he wouldnʼt have formed his Tempestuous Firestorm Obliteration Physique as he couldnʼt have reached a temporary equilibrium with how many times he had to destroy his physique!

The two of them were an integral part of his life, and he was ready to marry them now if need be!

Evelynn, Isabella, and the others couldnʼt help but smile that they finally understood this matter.

But at this moment, they saw Mingzhi leave the hall.

”Where are you going?”

Mingzhi turned back and winked.

”To play with them, of course~”

========

”Where— are— you—?

In the numerous pathways and numerous rooms aligned on each side, Davis walked.

The two little creatures he was searching for left a ton of traces behind, even if they concealed themselves well, causing him to easily discover them. However, he went around searching each room, calling out their names and dragging them out to play with them.

”Eterna… Iʼm going to find you…”

He turned around the corner and pushed open the door to an empty room.

”You canʼt hide from your father~”

He went inside, taking his time to search before he exited.

”Hmm. Not here as well. But I know I can find Celestia easily…”

He spoke loudly and continued to search.

He still had his senses on them, watching them giggle and point at him whenever he passed by their room. However, if he took more time, he guessed that they would guess that he was holding back.

Of course, the unfair rule they imposed on him was that he should not use his soul sense while they could use it, but he was not using his soul sense as he was using his physique to find them. The electricity in the air, the searing heat signature of life, the innumerable shapes of the wind that was occupied, all of it told him what he needed to know.

Just using the natural perceiving ability of his Tempestuous Firestorm Obliteration Physique was enough for him to imagine the movements anyone made within the vicinity.

But suddenly, he sensed the presence of an intruder in their room, causing his gaze to flicker, but judging by the shape of the body and presence, he knew exactly who this was.

”Aha! I found Celestiaʼs remnant earth energy…”

He declared loudly and traversed straight towards them. He chanced upon Shirleyʼs room. It made sense Eterna would bring Celestia here cause it was her motherʼs room. However, was this reverse psychology since it was the most probable room she would enter?

Davis couldnʼt help but inwardly chuckle before he bent down and looked under the bed.

The two little creatures he hoped to find werenʼt there.

However, they were still in the room, located in the east corner above the ceiling, as they were held by sixth mother Mingzhi in concealment.

”Shishishi~”

”Fuu~ Weʼre safe~”

Eterna giggled while Celestia heaved a sigh of relief adorably. She was afraid that they would get caught because of her. They both turned to look at Mingzhi, kissing her on the cheeks.

”Thanks to you mother Mingzhi that we-”

Just as Eterna sent a physical soul transmission, she froze as Davis appeared in front of them and reached out his hands.

”Caught”

He grabbed both their tiny shoulders, causing them to gawk.
