Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2844  Muddled Gathering

The Golden Crow Clanʼs Patriarch proudly smiled and took Mo Tian and the other inside the palace even without having to wait for the others who got here first to enter.

”…”

This made the others incensed. However, they didnʼt do anything other than glare, refusing to complain as they saw that a potential Saint was there.

No one wanted to offend such a being.

Davis walked and entered the banquet palace. As soon as he entered, the magnificence of the palace shrouded him in all directions and made him feel as though he had entered another world as space extended inside and seemed even taller and wider than what could be seen from the outside.

It was at least three times bigger than what he could see from the outside, causing him to marvel at this ingenious architecture. Moreover, the decorations and pieces of furniture placed everywhere, on the walls and even the ceiling, didnʼt leave anything to complain about, making the atmosphere grand and matching the status of the Dragon Alliance and the Phoenix Alliance.

Nonetheless, his gaze on the magnificence of this construct was only there for a short while before he momentarily glanced at his women again.

This time he found Flamerose and Frostrose together with Cyclonis Blizzara, who was talking to the Ice Phoenix Clan.

ʼLooks like they have entered slightly earlier than my people...ʼ

That would explain why he missed them before. However, seeing that Flamerose and Frostrose werenʼt in harmʼs way at the moment, he momentarily felt relief.

As for their presence here, he never doubted that they wouldnʼt come. After all, this was Cyclonis Blizzaraʼs chance to bring Frostrose back to the Ice Phoenix Clan, but at the same time, since Flamerose was here, he was sure that they were here to settle the differences with the Fire Phoenix Clan.

At this moment, he saw the immortal inheritors of the Fire Phoenix Clan approaching his women.

Their fiery red hair and the aura of the famous and mystical scarlet phoenix flames were plain to be sensed. Their smiling expressions gave him some good memories and also gave a bit of credibility to the Fire Phoenix Clan. Perhaps, as long as they were present, things would take a turn for the better.

”Respected third inheritor, Shirley Davis. First and foremost, we offer our condolences to your late husband, the Young Emperor of Death.”

The three of them cupped their hands and bowed, causing Shirley, who was leading the group, to tremble ever so lightly. She cupped her hands and lightly nodded.

”Thank you for inviting us. I hope this celebratory banquet will go as initially planned.”

”We hope so too.”

Great Ancestor Zenflame nodded and gestured, taking them all to their location within the multitude of locations present allocated for each power or alliance.

Davis indeed saw that many powers had gathered here already, making it seem like it was his women who were late to the banquet.

He could see all the dragon and phoenix powers being present, ranging from the Dragon Alliance: Fire Dragon Clan, Golden Dragon Clan, Water Dragon Clan, Earth Dragon Clan, Wind Dragon Clan, Lightning Dragon Clan, Light Dragon Clan, Dark Dragon Clan to the Phoenix Alliance: Ice Phoenix Clan, Fire Phoenix Clan, Golden Phoenix Clan, Wind Phoenix Clan, Light Phoenix Clan and finally the Dark Phoenix Clan.

The Grand Elders, Elders, and Patriarchs, including immortal inheritors.

Just the sheer aura of their lineup caused almost everyone to be silent in the banquet, waiting for the start of the banquet that would eventually be announced by the Fire Phoenix Clan and the Earth Dragon Clan.

But as for the Dragon and Phoenix Alliances themselves, they were plainly noisy, sometimes engaging in banter, only for a discussion to escalate before insults were thrown at each other. However, none of them escalated into an altercation. Instead, they deescalated the situation themselves as though they had done this plenty of times.

However, there was also one alliance that didnʼt give a damn and made fun of everyone.

That was the Kirin Alliance, made up of the Azure Flame Kirin Clan, Obsidian Lightning Kirin Clan, and the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin Clan.

”…!”

However, Davis was shocked to see the Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder already present here.

ʼWhat the… looks like she traversed alone to appear here so quickly… Moreover, didnʼt this woman say that she wasnʼt interested in the Candidacy? What is she doing here…?ʼ

Davis wondered if she was planning to devour the Central Primesky Alliance altogether. He still had no idea how she robbed the Bloodcloud Family of their votes but knew not to underestimate her as her schemes ran deep.

Perhaps, he was thinking too much, as she may be just here to join in on the fun or see men dance around her like fools. After all, she was even more of a famous individual than him, only a short while away from being ranked first in the Twelve Celestial Fairy Rankings.

Nonetheless, Davis could also see many other alliances present as they were explained to him one by one by Panqa and Lanqua.

As time passed, more and more powers started appearing.

Even Zora Luan and her Blue Luan Clan were here, not to mention the Vermilion Bird Clan, which was also suffering from steep decline due to losing the ancient war between them and the Fire Phoenix Clan.

They were glaring at each other, but he was surprised to see them appear in this place. After all, they had bad blood between them.

However, it wasnʼt only the humans and immortal beasts that were here. The spirits were here as well.

In fact, the Flame Seal Alliance, Roaring Wind Alliance, Noble Ice Alliance, Leaping Thunder Alliance, Falling Darkness Alliance, and Starry Light Alliance were all made up of major spirit powers like the Dynastic Evernight Phantasm Spirit Tribe and the Dark Void Flame Spirit Tribe. They were the top five alliances of the spirit race, almost matching that of the Dragon and Phoenix Alliance when they combined all their prowess.

But would all the spirits be able to come together? That was unlikely.

But there was a human alliance that was said to be capable of holding its own against any one of the top alliances, the Dragon Alliance or Phoenix Alliance, according to Panqa and Lanqua.

It was the Crimson Sangreal Alliance, made up of significant powers similar to the Zyrus Family and the Lumin Family, except they were far stronger and had far more Immortal Emperors than them.

Namely, the Rubyshroud Family with the Crimson Twilight Physique, the Echopeak Family with the Granite Echo Physique, the Starmantle Family with the Starmetal Mantle Physique, and the Duststorm Family with the Dust Typhoon Physique, all four of them were known for their pure destructive prowess.

There were a few other powers as well, and all their bloodline prowess was far higher than the Zyrus Family, Lumin Family, and the Bloodcloud Family that had declined.

Otherwise, the Zyrus Family, Lumin Family, and Bloodcloud Family wouldʼve been a part of that alliance.

”…”

Seeing their lineup that was noble but also haughty to no end, as though they were the supreme humans destined to rule the universe, Davis suddenly felt unsure as he was starting to feel some uncertainty as there were too many powers gathered, making it so that it could be easier for any of them to disrupt his plans.
