Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2830 Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder

Davis wondered if it was because there was a restriction placed on the Candidates where it disallowed them to leave the First Haven World but didnʼt know if that was truly the case as she couldʼve also slept in that area to have her prowess improved.

”My apologies, your ladyship.”

The Obsidian Crystal Turtle Clanʼs Patriarch cupped his hands, ”All Iʼm saying is that thereʼs no need to be so heavy-handed. Even if you two were on the same level, Iʼd advise our clanʼs immortal inheritor to go easy on you, especially since you are a woman.”

”Of course. How could I harm my own women?”

Gawain bragged, appearing tall and mighty as he had his hands folded over his chest.

”Just a woman…?” The Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder muttered under her breath as she lightly sighed.

”Iʼm grateful to the heavens that I can have an umbrella to fall back on, but Iʼm also sure that thinking cost many people their lives. In any case, are you up for a battle or not?”

”You are just below two hundred years old and want to compete with me? It seems like you donʼt know the difference between heaven and earth.”

Gawain chuckled, taking a step forward to move toward her. Without the referee at the scene, everyone came to know that the battle had officially started.

However, the Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder rapidly retreated, flying back as her purple robes fantastically fluttered, causing countless men to adore her.

”Oh my. Why are you moving away from me? Am I that scary?”

Gawain became taken aback before he chuckled, ”Donʼt worry, Iʼll take good care of you since there are no women together with me now, as they couldʼve possibly died in the true immortal world or left me for another man.”

The Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder raised her brows before she eerily smiled, ”You seem fine knowing that they couldʼve left you.”

”Oh no. Iʼm going to slaughter them if they leave me for another man because they have taken an oath while knowing that I was going into slumber. Since thatʼs the case, no amount of excuses can save them from my wrath when it falls, so it is better for them to stay clear of my vision for all eternity if they have done such a thing.”

Gawain cockily laughed and raised his hand, reaching out toward the Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder.

”…”

The Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder abruptly found herself locked in the air as she came to a stop, but she wasnʼt surprised as she knew that the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Clan was a magical beast species that excelled in controlling space.

”Break~”

A single word came out of her mouth when a shockwave surged from her, causing the restrictive binding on her to shatter.

”Oh? For a young immortal inheritor, you do show some promise.”

Gawainʼs giant body shook as he disappeared from the place he was standing.

*Ripp!~*

Space tore apart beside Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder as an arm appeared out from the many layers of space, heading straight for her exquisite face.

”Come here to your man.”

Gawain reached out his hand, simply appearing disrespectful to his opponent.

The Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder coldly glared at the incoming hand, finding herself locked in space again.

*Rumble!~*

Thunder rumbled as lightning and flames surged around her, but despite that, the giant arm thrust forward without a stop, becoming enveloped in lightning and flames. When it closed its giant palm, capturing the Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder head, there was nothing soft to be caught as it instead captured a ball of flames.

”Youʼre really too slow like Youil said.”

The Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder spoke from fifty kilometers away, appearing calm and amused.

”…!”

However, countless people were shocked.

Her explosive speed was massive that they couldnʼt even see the trail of lightning and flames left in her wake!

”Gawain, what the hell are you doing? Fight properly.”

”Yeah, you think you are the only suitor for the Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder? Her status as the sole female candidate who doesnʼt want to participate in the Candidacy makes her the most powerful and prominent beauty in the First Haven World.”

”Itʼs just a matter of time before she becomes ranked in the top three in the Twelve Celestial Fairy Ranking, perhaps even becoming first.”

Many people, including immortal inheritors, gnarled at Gawain, causing him to sneer.

”Shut up, you fools. If any one of you actually thinks you can defeat me, you shouldʼve stepped up to challenge me on the last segment, cowards.”

*Boom!~*

Space trembled and collapsed in his wake, revealing the second layer of space as he chased the Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder as his fanatical laughter echoed.

Bursts of lightning and flames surged around as the Blazing Thunderlight Sectʼs Founder kept dodging him by a thin hair, raising alarm bells within many people as they were intensely worried for her.

Seeing a giant chasing a buxom beauty didnʼt sit well with them, but that was how this scene was, causing a majority of people to be angered.

”Heh! She deserves it!”

”Who told her to be so bold and strut her mouth off, even challenging her seniors as though she was all-powerful?”

But many were also equally enjoying this situation, seeing a beauty appear to fall short of her reputation right in front of their eyes.

Davis also frowned as he could faintly see that Gawainʼs always moved for the Blazing Thunderlight Sect Founderʼs peaks. Although he didnʼt particularly care about her, he knew this shouldnʼt be how a man fought a woman in most cases, making him look down upon him.

Wasnʼt this just supposed to be a sparring session?

Moreover, rumors also fell on his ears that Gawain had around ten thousand women, which honestly made him jump in shock. It couldnʼt be that he had ten thousand Immortal Emperors, right? So the only case he could think of was that most of them died while a few exceptional ones he adored and fed became Immortal Emperors and ascended.

Nonetheless, he was still in shock at how these turtles stayed true to their nature. Their lustful nature was on par with rabbits.

*Boom!~* *Boom!~* *Boom!~*

The barrier shuddered greatly as each shockwave was more powerful than the last, causing the crowd to move back, causing chaos within the crowd.

”Ah~”

Shea Goldsun abruptly fell on Davis, her body abruptly falling above his thighs as it caused the both of them to freeze.

Their eyes met, causing time to freeze between them.

However, Davis quickly came out of his reverie and looked at who pushed her. He was shocked that it was her elder brother who was currently showing him a thumbs-up.

ʼWhat the hell…? Donʼt sell your little sister so short...ʼ

He felt like berating him as he couldnʼt possibly imagine him sending Clara or any one of his sisters to a man with so many women. Even he knew that he was a not-so-good pick for any woman regardless of his power and status, as he lacked time to treat them like a good wife.

But suddenly, a peck landed on his cheek, freezing him again.

His eyes shot wide open in shock, causing him to look down at Shea, who abruptly rolled away and ran off, right all the way back into the boisterous crowd where he couldnʼt see her anymore.

”...”
