New Age Of Summoners

’Sorry, Human.’

Without any surprise, the mutated spirit crane gave the reply Ajax was expecting; however, he was still thinking about what he should do to convince the spirit crane to follow me for the next six months.

No matter how powerful the spirit crane might become in the future, Ajax was not planning to keep the spirit crane with him forever.

He was already satisfied with his own contracted spirit beasts; however, he didn’t want to waste his time following Princess Daphne as it would give others a wrong idea about him.

Moreover, if he stayed in the royal palace, he would have a problem in summoning his elemental spirits or contracted spirit beasts.

’Wait for a second.’

All of a sudden, Ajax thought about something and muttered to himself, ’I hope, it will work.’

”Do you really care about your master?”

Soon, Ajax chooses a different approach in persuading the mutated spirit crane in following him.

’I will give my life for her.’

The usual young girl’s voice appeared in Ajax’s head.

Even though she was already a peak rank 6 spirit beast, she was unable to speak directly; instead, she could only speak through the voice transmission.

”So, if you stay with her, she will be in big trouble that might cost her life.”

Without wasting any more, Ajax started his plan.

’What? It’s impossible. Human, just because you gave me a Primitive stone, it doesn’t mean I will follow you everywhere.’

After hearing Ajax’s words, the spirit crane looked at Ajax for a moment before shouting in his head.

The thing is, as long as Princess Daphne lives inside the royal palace, no harm would come to her. At least that’s what the spirit crane thought.

So, she scoffed at Ajax after hearing his words regarding the danger for Princess Daphne.

”Okay...I will directly come to the point.”

Ajax was not disappointed after hearing the spirit crane’s reply because he knew that his contracted spirit beasts might kill if someone asks them to leave their master to follow him or her.

Compared to his spirit beasts, the spirit crane in front of him was mild in nature. So, she only said a few words in anger.

As for Ajax, he started saying, ”Earlier, you met the crowned turquoise queen, right? Along with her, you also met another spirit consciousness who has the same bloodline as you.”

’What? How did you know?’

Spirit Crane was shocked with Ajax’s words and hurriedly asked him.

’I am coming to that point.’

With a serious look on his continued, ’I don’t know how but I was also pulled into that unique space and maybe I was next to you, the young lady sitting on the throne gave me a mission to protect you for the next six months.’

Ajax just created a story with everything that happened around him previously and he made it in such a way that the spirit crane started to believe his words as she carefully listened to Ajax.

’I understood now. Sorry for the earlier misunderstanding. I thought you wanted me to become your mount.’

After learning the Ajax was actually tasked by the ’Crowned Turquoise Queen’, she nodded her head and hurriedly apologized to Ajax.

”It’s nothing. So, what is your decision?”

Ajax asked the spirit crane once again and compared to before, he was a little bit more confident in the spirit crane’s reply.

’Human, can you tell me what kind of danger I am in and how it will affect my master.’

The spirit crane didn’t want to come to a decision without knowing the full details regarding the danger for her and her master. So, she asked Ajax to explain more.

’Looks like it is working.’

Ajax became excited with her reply and nodded his head.

Since he was not rejected now, Ajax’s confidence rose even more.

”Do you know what race the spirit consciousness beside you in the secret space belong to?”

Once again, Ajax started with a question; however, he didn’t wait for the reply from the spirit crane as he continued, ”He is a dragon and that too he is an aqua dragon who is known for his arrogance and pride. According to the Crowned Turquoise Queen, he will devour you to increase his bloodline to 100 percent and if Princess Daphne comes in the middle, she will be killed too.”

”So, the choice is yours to decide. Poor crowned turquoise queen, she was trying to protect you.”

Ajax put a sad look on his face as he ended his explanation.

’What? Will he kill Princess Daphne? But the royal king will protect her daughter, right?’

Finally, the spirit crane completely believed Ajax’s story because how would he know all those things if he was not tasked by the crowned turquoise queen?

However, what she didn’t understand was how that dragon would kill her and Princess Daphne in the royal palace?

”Do you really believe that the royal king will save her daughter if someone offers a valuable item that assists others into entering the king realm?”

’What?’

How could Ajax let her just use the royal king to decline his offer? So, with a serious look on his face, he asked the spirit crane that made the ’Little blue’ to fall into a dilemma.

’Speaking of my master’s father, I never saw him speak to her from my childhood.’

The spirit crane was living with Princess Daphne for a couple of years now and when she heard Ajax’s words, she thought about King Stephen and felt Ajax’s words are true.

’Also, I think, you must have noticed how powerful the spirit consciousness of the aqua dragon was, so, I will leave that decision to you.’

While the spirit crane was still thinking about Ajax’s words, he didn’t want to give more time for the spirit crane to think and as the saying goes ’Hit the iron while it’s still hot’, Ajax added another point that made the spirit crane shiver.
