New Age Of Summoners

’What? A level 2 general realm cultivator wants to fight four of us alone?’

’What a big joke?’

’Captain Berk, Vice-captain, we will kill this brat and Udo before coming to help you. Just hang in there.’

’What are we wasting our time for? Let’s go and finish him.’

After hearing Captain Edmond’s words, Ajax nodded his head before looking at the squad members of the Quickthunder mercenary squad with a slight smile.

Seeing that smile, all the squad members were frustrated and became furious. So, they mocked Ajax before rushing towards him.

’Who needs your help? Captain Berk and I could take care of Captain Edmond. Just don’t mess up by killing that brat and Udo.’

As for the Vice-captain of the squad, he scoffed at the squad members.

As the long member of the Quickthunder mercenary squad, the vice-captain knew how powerful Captain Berk was. So, he didn’t think it would be a problem for both of them to take care of Edmond.

’Die brat.’

Nevertheless, the squad members were not bothered with the vice captain’s words as they rushed towards Ajax in order to kill him.

Even though they still didn’t know the relationship between Ajax and the Hazegroove mercenary squad, they didn’t want to waste any time.

Looking at the incoming squad members, Ajax didn’t bother to move because he was very sure that the Earth shield would not let them in.

’Putong’

’Dong’

Four squad members collided with the Earth shield before bouncing back.

’What the hell?’

’How can that barrier stop us from entering?’

’Let’s use our strongest attacks. Let’s see whether it will still withstand them or not?’

Seeing that the barrier was created by Ajax’s earth elemental spirit, all the squad members were shocked at first and later they became furious.

So, they decided to use their full-powered attacks.

’Absolute darkness.’

However, before they could use any of their attacks, Ajax revealed a cold smile on his face as he uttered two words.

’Putong’

’Thud’

’Aargh’

’What is happening...aargh’

’Someone help me...I can’t endure this pain any longer.’

The four squad members of the Quick Thunder mercenary squad fell to the ground as they rolled on the ground while clutching their heads.

They didn’t know what was happening to them but the pain in their heads become more and more with the flow of time.

’Kill me.’

’I beg you...please kill me.’

Only when they noticed the cold smile on Ajax’s face, they understood the reason why they were experiencing so much pain was Ajax and soon, they started begging him to kill them.

That’s right!

They asked Ajax to kill them because the pain was too much for them to take. Instead of experiencing that pain, they felt they would be better off dying.

”Since you want to die, I will fulfil your wish.”

Without any hesitation, Ajax snapped his fingers after saying those words.

’...’

As soon as he snapped his fingers, there was complete silence around him as four squad members died.

’Ding,

The host killed four elite general realm cultivators.

’Ding,

The host gained 1000 units of the essence of nature.

Soon, Ajax got the usual system notifications that informed him about the death of the four squad members.

’What the hell? Only 1000 units?’

Ajax was shocked when he saw how many units of the essence of nature he gained from killing four elite general realm cultivators.

In the past, he used to get at least 1000 units of the essence of nature for killing a single elite general realm cultivator; however, he became angry when he saw he got only 1000 units of the essence of nature for killing four elite general realm cultivators.

’Ding,

As the strength of the host increases, the basic reward he gains from killing his enemies would become less.

’Sigh’

Seeing that, Ajax could not help but sigh.

He didn’t know whether he should laugh for becoming stronger with time or his reward getting decreased along with that.

’Whatever getting the essence of nature is always easy; however, becoming stronger is not.’

Soon, Ajax came to a conclusion and stopped bothering about the essence of nature.

’What?’

Captain Edmond, Captain Berk, Udo and the vice captain of the Quickthunder mercenary squad were shocked when they saw the scene at the side.

A few moments ago, Captain Edmond was fighting Captain Berk and his vice; however, when they heard the pain groans from the distance, they stopped their fight for some time to see what was happening with the squad members of the Quickthunder mercenary squad.

When they saw how those squad members were begging Ajax to kill them, they were shocked and what’s more, they saw that Ajax killed them with a snap of his finger.

’When did he become that strong?’

Captain Edmond and Udo thought to themselves as they looked at Ajax in a different light.

Even though Udo was still unable to move his body, he could watch what was happening around him.

’Who is he exactly?  Why have I never heard of such a monster?’

Captain Berk looked at Ajax as though he was seeing a monster before coming to a conclusion, ’I have to kill him at any cost. I should not let him grow any more  than he already has.’

”I am your opponent, not him.”

While Captain Berk was thinking about killing Ajax, he saw Captain Edmond appear right in front of him with his crystal sword.

”Huh? You are already using your sword? Good.”

No matter how careless Captain Berk was, he was still a level 10 elite general realm cultivator which was five minor realms higher than Captain Edmond. So, Captain Edmond summoned his sword to block the incoming attack.

’Swoosh’

At the same time, the vice-captain also started attacking Edmond with his spear.

”I don’t have much time to play with you. So, I am going to end it right now.”

As soon as he finished his words, the environment around Edmond changed that made Captain Berk shake a little.
