New Age Of Summoners

# Author’s birthday special chapter (5/5).

Ajax thought that with the help of the ’Demon form’, he could defeat the azure wind dragon; however, who would have expected that the azure wind dragon in the first level of the battle tower was already this powerful.

’I wonder how powerful he will be in the second, third and higher levels of the battle tower.’

When he thought about it, Ajax’s determination to become stronger had become even more.

”There...there...stop putting the bitter look on your face.”

As for the azure wind dragon, when he looked at the bitter look on Ajax’s face, he asked him not to be sad.

He didn’t wait for Ajax’s reply as he continued, ”Actually, you won the fight against me.”

While saying those words, the azure wind dragon was a little bit excited.

’What?’

Ajax was shocked to hear those words; however, when he thought about something, he shook his head as he replied to the huge dragon, ”You don’t have to do that, Sir Dragon. I am not that childish to cry over a fight. I know I am weak but I will come back in the future to fight you and at that, I am going to win for sure.”

”Pakk”

Just as Ajax finished his words, he was hit by the huge dragon’s wing.

Since he was not expecting that azure wind dragon to attack him, Ajax was unable to dodge the attack and got smashed into the wall.

”Sir Dragon?”

As he was still in the demon form, his defences were very strong. So, he was able to stand again as he looked at the azure wind dragon with a puzzled look not understanding why he got hit by the dragon.

”Idiot. I thought you were different from your predecessor; however, you both are the same idiots who will not listen to others before coming to your own conclusion.”

The azure wind dragon scoffed at Ajax.

’...’

Hearing those words, Ajax was speechless and calmed himself down to listen to what the azure wind dragon wanted to say to him.

”The moment I used my ’Azure hardened skin’, you won against me and successfully cleared the hall.”

If it was anyone else, the azure dragon would have beaten the shit out of them; however, since Ajax was very respectful towards him from the start, he only hit Ajax once before explaining.

”Really? I cleared this hall?”

Ajax was still unable to believe that he won against the azure wind dragon. Nevertheless, when he saw the serious look on his dragon’s face, Ajax became excited.

’Then why didn’t I get any system notifications?’

Generally, the hall guardian should die or the system should inform him about the successful clearance of the hall. Since both things didn’t happen, Ajax had a hard time believing in the azure wind dragon’s words.

’Ding,

To make the host suffer a bit in the azure wind dragon’s hands; however, the host is lucky to get away with just one slap.

’Damn you.’

Ajax cursed the system when saw the notification; however, he thought he had some talk with the system at another time.

Instead, he looked at the huge dragon as he replied, ”Sorry for not believing you earlier, Sir Dragon. So, can you answer my question now?”

Since he successfully completed the hall, as a reward, the azure wind dragon would say something about his predecessor who sealed the azure wind dragon’s soul in the battle tower.

”Sure.”

The azure wind dragon nodded his head as he said, ”He was the most powerful cultivator I have ever seen in my life. Even though he sealed me in this battle tower, later I got to know that because of what he did, it saved my life from ….argh.”

Just like before the azure wind dragon started groaning in pain all of a sudden.

”Damn it...damn it.”

Unlike before, the pain didn’t last for much longer and the huge dragon returned to normal before starting his curses.

”What happened this time?”

Ajax’s questions in his head grew even more with the azure wind dragon’s words that made Ajax even more irritated.

”Ajax, in this manner, I am not able to explain anything to you; instead, it will only leave you with even more questions. So, let’s do one thing.”

The azure wind dragon didn’t answer his question; instead, he wanted to suggest something to Ajax.

”I will do as you say, Sir Dragon.”

Even though the dragon didn’t give an answer to his question, Ajax could understand that something was stopping the azure wind dragon from explaining all those things to him.

So, he was ready to hear what the dragon wanted to suggest to him.

”On this floor, my strength is very limited. Just come to the second floor by clearing the required number of halls on this floor and let’s see who is going to stop me on that floor.”

Soon, the huge dragon suggested Ajax clear more floors on the first floor of the battle tower.

”Oh.”

Even though Ajax slightly understood what the azure wind dragon was saying, he wanted to know more. So, he nodded his head at the dragon before asking another question.

Unlike before, this time, the question was not about his predecessor; instead, it was about the battle tower.

”Sir Dragon, can you talk about the halls of the battle tower and about the guardians?”

”I hope the seal will not harm me if I talk about it.”

Hearing Ajax’s question, the huge dragon nodded his head as he continued, ”Actually, there are only limited hall guardians in the battle tower. Your predecessor excelled in sealing techniques and using them, he allowed us to use our powers in parts.”

”With the increase of each floor, the sealing techniques will have less effect on us. So that we could use high battle-prowess on the next floor.”

While saying those words, the azure wind dragon was careful because he didn’t know what information he could give to Ajax without suffering pain.

”So, how many floors are there in the battle tower?”
