New Age Of Summoners

# Author’s birthday special chapter (2/5).

’As expected, it is within my estimation.’

When he saw the system notification, Ajax was not surprised because he had already expected the price to upgrade would be 10 times the previous one.

’But I wonder, will it follow the same 10 times increase in the price for upgrading to the next grade.’

Nevertheless, what made Ajax worry was about upgrading the elemental paradises from grade 2 to grade 3.

’If the price is very high, I will just cancel my plan to upgrade them.’

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax ordered the system, ’System, upgrade my 22 grade 1 elemental paradises to grade 2.’

After making up his mind, Ajax didn’t waste his time to give the order to upgrade the elemental paradises.

’Ding,

The cost to upgrade 22 elemental paradises from grade 1 to grade 2 will be 22000 spirit points. Are you sure?

The system asked Ajax for the usual secondary confirmation.

’Yes.’

’Ding,

22000 spirit points are debited from the host’s account.

’Ding,

        Remaining spirit points:- 468000.

’Ding,

The construction time for all 22 elemental paradises from grade 1 to grade 2 will be one week. Please wait while the system constructs them.

As soon as he gave the confirmation, Ajax received a series of system notifications informing him to wait for a week.

’One week is not very long to wait.’

Ajax nodded his head as he checked the remaining spirit points before closing all the system notifications.

’I will just sleep for the week.’

Since he didn’t have anything to do for the week, he thought about sleeping.

’Ding,

Instead of sleeping, the host can do something productive like clearing the halls on the first level of the battle tower.

Just as he thought about sleeping, the system notified him that he could enter the battle tower to train his battle prowess.

Moreover, Ajax could sense that the system was scoffing at his laziness.

’Right! How could I forget about it?’

Ajax shook his head before saying, ’Let’s go and clear more halls.’

Actually, Ajax thought that he should enter the battle tower only after destroying at least one world; however, since he had nothing better to do for an entire week and he could not send any of his summons into the battle tower, he himself wanted to enter to pass the time.

Along with passing the time, he could see how much improved within such a short amount of time.

’Swoosh’

As soon as he thought to enter the battle tower, Ajax disappeared from the inner world.

...…

Inside the battle tower,

’I wonder how long I can fight with the legendary azure wind dragon.’

In the past, Ajax cleared four halls in the first level of the battle tower; however, before he could enter the fifth hall, he was killed by the hall guardian.

Nevertheless, before dying, he was able to catch a glimpse of the hall guardian who looked like an azure coloured dragon.

So, he came to the conclusion that it was an Azure wind dragon.

’What is there to fear? Even if I die, I can fight him once again.’

Since Ajax can’t die in reality, he was not worried about it much; however, the problem was he couldn’t try clearing the other halls unless he completed the Azure wind dragon’s hall.

’Creak’

With a serious look on his face, Ajax opened the door of the hall as he walked into the hall.

’Shuzz’

The moment he stepped into the hall, an azure-coloured energy beam was focused on it.

’Damn it...it is so fast.’

Ajax cursed the hall guardian to not wait until he entered the hall completely; however, he didn’t forget to use his ’Teleport’ effect from the skill ’Lightning Cloud Steps’.

’Swoosh’

If Ajax was even a second late, he would have died and been kicked out of the battle tower.

”Interesting...you have good reflexes, Kid. You are qualified to fight me.”

After dodging the azure dragon beam, Ajax didn’t see any attacks from towards him which made him heave a sigh of relief.

However, he heard a majestic voice.

”You are really an Azure wind dragon.”

Soon, Ajax saw the huge azure coloured dragon in the distance that raised its long neck to see him.

That’s right!

Compared to the other halls, the current hall is much bigger. Just the distance between Ajax was around two kilometers.

”Haha...that’s right! I am an Azure wind dragon.”

Hearing Ajax’s words, the huge azure-coloured dragon started laughing as he introduced himself to Ajax.

”I am Ajax. By the way, I have a question to ask, sir dragon.”

Since the huge dragon seemed friendly, Ajax introduced himself.

Moreover, he addressed the azure wind dragon with ’Sir’ because according to what he learned about the azure wind dragons, they deserve respect.

”I am in a good mood today, Kid. You can ask anything you want.”

After hearing the words ’Sir Dragon’, the dragon became even more happy as he gave permission to ask Ajax anything.

”Thanks, Sir Dragon.”

After thanking, Ajax continued, ”Earlier, you said that I am qualified to fight you. Why is it so? Is it because of me dodging your earlier attack?”

”That is one of the reasons but there is another one.”

The huge dragon nodded his huge horned head as he continued, ”Because you have the blood of someone who sealed my soul here.”

”What?”

Ajax was shocked to hear those words as he immediately asked the huge dragon, ”Sir Dragon, can you say more about him?”

Ajax didn’t know anything about the origins of the system and how created this battle tower and stored the souls of the powerful creatures from history.

So, he wanted to know about the person who created the battle tower and sealed the souls in it.

”According to the rules, I should only answer you when you defeat me. However, since I liked you, I will break that rule and answer your question.”

With a crude chuckle, the huge dragon replied to Ajax making him greatly excited.
