New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2125: Flaming Forest

After finishing his conversation with Thorne Valek, Ajax once again returned toward the Fiery Volcanic Terrain.

ʼEven though my elemental resistance and endurance toward all elements are high…ʼ

ʼThey are especially highest toward fire.ʼ

Ajax silently muttered to himself as he looked at the endless volcanic region below him.

Thus, without wasting any more time, Ajax quickly made his decision.

ʼSince thatʼs the case…letʼs continue farming the Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals in the Fire Terrain.ʼ

Even though every participant needed to collect at least twenty Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals from each of the five terrains to clear the First Stage, Ajax wasnʼt worried about that at all.

Right now, his main goal was simple.

Collect as many Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals as possible to help Thorne enter the top 10 rankings.

And among all the terrains, the Fire Terrain was undoubtedly the most suitable place for him.

After all, unlike the other participants who needed to remain cautious against the terrifying heat and lava-filled environment, Ajax could move through the molten lava as though he were swimming through ordinary water.

Not only that, but his Divine Body Cultivation was constantly being tempered by the dense Fire Essence of Nature within the terrain.

ʼEven though the tempering effect is very little, my main focus is farming Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.ʼ

Thus, farming in the Fire Terrain was much faster and safer for Ajax compared to the others.

ʼAs for the Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals from the other terrains…ʼ

Ajax lightly smirked as he looked around at the countless participants fighting throughout the Elemental Source Land.

ʼI can simply collect them on the final day.ʼ

ʼOr…ʼ

ʼI am sure someone will generously hand over the required crystals to me.ʼ

Ajax naturally understood the unspoken rules of this competition.

Right now, all the participants were still mainly focused on hunting Elemental Beasts to gather Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

However, as the days passed, the competition would gradually shift from participants versus Elemental Beasts…

To participants versus participants.

After all, the Ancient Voice never stated that fighting or robbing other participants was forbidden.

Moreover, after displaying his terrifying battle prowess earlier, Ajax had already noticed some participants secretly observing him with greedy eyes.

And now that he planned to crazily farm Fire Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals in the Fire Terrain, Ajax knew even more people would eventually target him.

However, Ajax didnʼt care at all.

ʼNo one is stopping me from obtaining the method to summon the Divine Elemental Spirits before ascending.ʼ

Ajax silently clenched his fists.

The moment he thought about his sealed Divine Elemental Spirits, his eyes instantly became filled with determination.

Soon, without any hesitation, Ajax directly jumped into another molten lava lake.

ʼSPLASHʼ

His body instantly disappeared beneath the lava.

And very quickly, the slaughter began.

.....

Deep beneath the molten lava lakes, gigantic Volcanic Fire Pythons silently moved through the lava currents.

These python-type Elemental Beasts possessed terrifying physical strength.

Once they wrapped around their prey, their bodies would continuously tighten until even High-level Emperor Realm Cultivators would be crushed alive.

Unfortunately for them, their opponent was Ajax.

ʼHiss~ʼ

One gigantic Volcanic Fire Python suddenly wrapped around Ajaxʼs body.

Its terrifying constriction force instantly exploded.

Crack!

However, the next moment, the pythonʼs own body shattered apart.

Ajax directly tore apart the giant python using nothing but brute strength.

Boom!

Soon after, another punch exploded through the lava.

After two days,

A gigantic Lava Giant, several hundred meters tall, instantly collapsed.

Unlike the Volcanic Fire Pythons, Lava Giants possessed incredibly tough bodies formed from condensed volcanic rocks and Fire Essence of Nature.

Even ordinary Divine Rule attacks struggled to completely destroy them.

However, Ajax simply smashed their bodies using pure physical strength.

ʼEven though I am not activating any of my Divine Rules, the passive effects of those Divine Rules, especially the Divine Body Rule and the Divine Fire Rule, are making things easy for me.ʼ

Ajax knew the reason he was able to deal with the Fire Elemental Beasts with ease.

After three days,

ʼNo wonder participants are calling it the Flaming Forest.ʼ

Looking at the scene in front of him, Ajax nodded his head in realisation.

The Elemental Source Land was divided into Five Terrains, and each terrain was quite big and had many sub-regions within it.

One sub-region was filled with Volcanic Fire Sharks, and not far from that region was another one filled with Volcanic Flame Pythons.

Another region was filled with Lava Giants, and now, the region Ajax had arrived at was filled with some unique trees that had wisps of fire in place of leaves.

ʼSCREEECHʼ

Suddenly, Ajax saw hundreds of Flaming Monkeys crazily leap through the Flaming Trees.

ʼI heard a team of three was killed along with their Elemental Spirits by these Flaming Monkeys.ʼ

Thatʼs right!

Even though each one of these participants was a genius who had high chances of ascending to the Heavenly Realm, they could still die here in the Elemental Source Land.

ʼBirds die in search of food and humans die in search of treasures.ʼ

Ajax shook his head as he didnʼt feel sad at the death of those genius summoners.

It was not because he was heartless or didnʼt know them; instead, Ajax had already gotten used to such scenes.

Whatʼs more, sometimes it was he who killed those geniuses.

”Anyway, because of these Flaming Monkeys, there are no other participants in this sub-region.”

The reason why Ajax came specifically to this sub-region was because of this.

Unlike the other Fire Elemental Beasts, these Flaming Monkeys seemed to have learned how to work together.

Individually, these monkey-type Elemental Beasts were extremely weak.

However, they possessed terrifying numbers.

The moment one Flaming Monkey was killed, hundreds more would immediately rush over to avenge it.

Because of that, regular participants rarely dared to provoke them.

After all, once surrounded by thousands of Flaming Monkeys, even monstrous geniuses could eventually become exhausted to death.

Moreover, after the death of that team of summoners, the other participants directly ignored this sub-region, making Ajax think,

ʼHere, I can farm for the Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals much faster.ʼ
