New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2119: The First Stage: Elemental Baptism

ʼDivine Elemental Potions?ʼ

Although Ajax was shocked that the Divine Elemental Potion was being used as the Special Reward, what truly shocked him was the quantity.

There were ten Divine Elemental Potions.

After all, the Special Reward would be given to the top ten participants of the First Stage.

ʼArenʼt Divine Elemental Potions extremely rare and nearly impossible to find in the Earth Realm?ʼ

Ajax still clearly remembered the time he received a Divine Elemental Potion from the Tree of Blessing after it reached five hundred thousand years of age.

Back then, even the system had stated that Divine Elemental Potions were treasures almost impossible to encounter in the Earth Realm.

Yet now, this mysterious Elemental Source Land was casually giving away ten of them in the very first stage.

ʼWhatʼs even more shocking is…these participants already seem familiar with the Divine Elemental Potions.ʼ

Ajaxʼs eyes slightly narrowed as he listened to the surrounding discussions.

Some participants were clearly not hearing about Divine Elemental Potions for the first time.

Instead, from the way they spoke, it was obvious that certain powerful factions and ancient families already possessed information regarding Divine Elemental Spirits.

Some elders even seemed to have used such potions before.

ʼSo I wasnʼt the only one who possessed Divine Elemental Spirits in the Earth Realm?ʼ

Previously, Ajax always believed he was a unique existence.

After all, once an Elemental Spirit evolved into a Divine Elemental Spirit, it would immediately be sealed by the universe.

The summoners in his universe might not know about the Divine Elemental Potions and the evolved Divine Elemental Spirits would be sealed, but things were different in the New Universe which was far more powerful and advanced.

With his knowledge about the New Universe, Ajax was no longer shocked that they not only knew about the Divine Elemental Spirits but also the downside of using them.

Thus, Ajax assumed very few people would bother evolving their Elemental Spirits before ascending to the Heavenly Realm.

But now, he realised things were completely different in this New Universe.

ʼAs expected from a universe far more advanced than the Old Universe…they seem to possess much more knowledge regarding the Heavenly Realm.ʼ

Ajax silently muttered to himself.

Even though he knew that Divine Elemental Spirits would become extremely useful after ascending to the Heavenly Realm, he actually didnʼt know the exact reason.

However, from the excited discussions around him, Ajax finally learned something.

Apparently, cultivators possessing Divine Elemental Spirits would receive much higher status after ascending to the Heavenly Realm.

Clearly, Divine Elemental Spirits were far more important than he originally imagined.

In any realm, having a higher status would also make things a bit easier.

Also, it is the status in the Heavenly Realm they were talking about.

So, everyone wanted Divine Elemental Spirits even if they were sealed.

ʼEven though Divine Elemental Spirits become sealed in the Earth Realm…wait a second…ʼ

Suddenly, Ajax thought of something and his eyes instantly lit up.

ʼSince this universe is much more developed than the Old Universe…ʼ

ʼAnd seeing how excited these participants are for the Divine Elemental Potions…ʼ

ʼDoesnʼt that mean this universe might actually possess methods to summon Divine Elemental Spirits even before ascending?ʼ

The more Ajax thought about it, the brighter his eyes became.

After all, how could he not become excited?

If such a method truly existed, then perhaps he could once again summon his Divine Elemental Spirits.

With his Divine Elemental Spirits, the progress for his mission to gain the Universeʼs Recognition would be greatly increased.

At that thought, even Ajaxʼs breathing became slightly hurried.

However, before he could continue thinking further, the ancient voice echoed throughout the entire world once again.

[Since the rewards and Special Rewards have already been announced…]

[The First Stage: Elemental Baptism will officially begin now.]

ʼRumble…ʼ

The entire world slightly trembled.

At the same time, terrifying elemental pressure erupted from the five elemental terrains below.

”Move!”

”Quickly head to the terrain matching our elemental affinities first.”

”We need to secure enough Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals before others.”

Instantly, all the participants who had formed teams rushed toward different elemental terrains according to their strategies.

ʼSwiishʼ

ʼSwiishʼ

ʼSwiishʼ

Dozens of figures streaked across the sky.

Some rushed toward the Fiery Volcanic Terrain, some headed toward the endless oceans and others directly entered the violent storm regions.

As for the participants with Dark Element affinity, they decisively flew toward the endless black fog region.

Very quickly, battles erupted throughout the world.

ʼROARRRʼ

ʼSCREEECHʼ

ʼBOOOMʼ

The Elemental Beasts hidden within the terrains immediately attacked the intruders.

Gigantic lava wolves leapt out from volcanoes, massive water serpents rose from the oceans, wind eagles formed from storms descended from the skies and rock giants awakened from mountains.

Dark shadow beasts silently emerged from the black fog.

And every single one of those Elemental Beasts possessed strength comparable to High-level Emperor Realm Cultivators.

Moreover, because they were fighting within elemental terrains perfectly suited to themselves, their battle prowess became even more terrifying.

However, despite that, the participants didnʼt panic.

After all, every participant here was a monstrous genius.

Moreover, each participant could summon five Official Elemental Spirits.

Combined with their teammates, some groups instantly summoned more than fifteen or even twenty Elemental Spirits at once.

Boom!

Flames exploded.

Storms raged.

Earth spikes pierced through the skies.

Countless attacks flooded the elemental terrains.

”Haha! So what if they are High-level Emperor Realm Elemental Beasts?”

”We can kill as many as we want.”

”Quickly surround it.”

”Donʼt let it escape.”

Very quickly, some teams started successfully killing Elemental Beasts and obtaining glowing Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

Clearly, although their teamwork was rough and uncoordinated, their overall strength was still extremely powerful.

Meanwhile, unlike the others, Ajax didnʼt immediately rush to farm for the Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

After all, he had little interest in either the crystals or the Divine Elemental Potion.

Instead, he calmly observed everyoneʼs battle prowess.

ʼEven though their teamwork is bad…they are strong.ʼ

Ajax silently evaluated the participants while floating high in the sky.

ʼThey seem to be struggling a bit against the Elemental Beasts; however, it is because they are not going all out.ʼ

Other than their teamwork being bad, Ajax knew the reason why they were slightly struggling against the Elemental Beasts.

It was because they were not using their powerful bloodlines, divine rules, or even artifacts.

Because the bloodlines and Divine Rules would have a cooldown, and the more powerful they are, the longer the cooldown would be.

Since the first stage lasts for 10 days, the moment they use their trump cards, they would have one less trump card to deal with the other participants.

As time progressed, the battle between the participants and the Elemental Beasts would eventually shift to participants versus participants.

ʼMoreover, it is still the first stage, and according to the Ancient Voice, there are another two stages.ʼ

So, obviously, the participants need to conserve as many trump cards as possible.

ʼShould I join the party now?ʼ

After observing for a few moments, Ajax finally decided to move.

ʼLetʼs start with the sneaky Volcanic Lava Sharks.ʼ

Once he selected his target, without hesitation, Ajax flew downward toward the Fiery Volcanic Terrain.
