Chapter 2110: The Forbidden Evolution (1)

Ten months ago…

ʼRooaarrʼ

A deafening roar echoed throughout the dark world as a gigantic crocodile covered in black, poisonous scales charged toward Ajax and the others.

Its massive tail swept through the air like a mountain, instantly shattering everything in its path.

It was a Quasi-Divine Grade Dark Beast — the Dark Poison Crocodile.

ʼWatch out!ʼ

Siora waved her hand and released countless silver vines that wrapped around the crocodileʼs tail while Aron directly punched its gigantic head with overwhelming force.

ʼBoomʼ

The surrounding dark mountains collapsed from the impact.

Meanwhile, Ajax appeared above the Dark Poison Crocodile and slashed down with his Divine Dark Rule-infused spear.

ʼPuchiʼ

The spear pierced through the crocodileʼs head and instantly destroyed its soul.

ʼRoo…ʼ

Before the Dark Poison Crocodile could even struggle, its gigantic body crashed into the black ocean below, creating massive waves.

Exactly one month had passed since Ajax tamed the Wild Sentient Flame: Specter Fire.

[Ding]

[Congratulations to the host, all the Elemental Spirits have fully awakened their Elemental Ascendance]

Just as they finished taking care of the Quasi-Divine Grade Dark Beast, Ajax received a system notification that instantly made him excited.

ʼFinally, all my Elemental Spirits have fully awakened their Elemental Ascendance.ʼ

Thanks to Ajaxʼs Special Title [The Elemental Spirit Master], all his Elemental Spirits were connected to one another.

Thus, once the Elemental Ascendance of one Elemental Spirit reached 100 percent, all the other Elemental Spirits would also reach the same level.

ʼWith this, I can finally evolve Necros into a Divine Elemental Spirit.ʼ

After acquiring the memories of the Specter Fire, the system had finally unlocked the evolution requirements for upgrading Elemental Spirits into Divine Elemental Spirits.

[They are:]

[1) A Sentient Flame that has the same element as the Elemental Spirit]

[2) Elemental Ascendance: 100 percent]

[3) Divine World Core x 3]

[4) Divine Grade Fruit or Seed x 3]

[5) Divine Essence of Nature x one billion units]

Ajax had already prepared everything except for the complete awakening of the Elemental Ascendance.

Actually, among all the requirements, this was the easiest one.

However, it was directly connected to the awakening percentage of the summonerʼs Divine Rules.

At least one of the summonerʼs Divine Rules had to reach complete awakening.

And just yesterday, Ajaxʼs Divine Dark Rule and Divine Fire Rule had fully awakened.

Thus, all his Elemental Spirits had also fully awakened their Elemental Ascendance.

ʼAnyway, it is finally time to upgrade Necros into a Divine Elemental Spirit.ʼ

Putting aside his thoughts, Ajax started taking out the required items one after another.

Three Divine World Cores.

Three Divine Grade Seeds.

One billion units of Divine Essence of Nature in his Divine Spirit Consciousness.

Soon, he summoned Necros, who was currently holding the Specter Fire in his hands.

After taming the Specter Fire and learning that the Sentient Flames were the weapons of the Elemental Spirits, Ajax directly gave them to Necros because it was a perfect weapon for him.

ʼItʼs time to...ʼ

[Ding]

Just as Ajax was about to start the evolution process, he received a system notification.

[Congratulations to the host for successfully upgrading your Elemental Spirit into a Divine Elemental Spirit]

ʼHuh?ʼ

Ajax blinked his eyes.

Then he looked at the items in his hands.

Then at Necros and then at the Specter Fire.

Everything remained exactly the same.

Nothing was consumed, and nothing had changed.

Even Necros himself was staring at Ajax with a confused expression.

ʼSummoning Master, didnʼt you say you are going to evolve me into a Divine Elemental Spirit? Why are you looking at me?ʼ

This was the thought in Necrosʼs head as he continued to stare at Ajax.

ʼ…ʼ

ʼSystem…did you evolve him in your dreams?ʼ

Ajaxʼs lips twitched.

Necros tilted his head as though asking whether the upgrade was completed or not.

ʼDonʼt look at me. Even I donʼt know what is happening.ʼ

Ajax felt speechless.

The ingredients were still in his hands, and the Specter Fire was still burning peacefully.

Necros was still standing there looking exactly the same.

Yet somehow, the system was congratulating him for a successful evolution.

ʼDid the system bug out after coming to the Dark Region?ʼ

ʼSwiishʼ

Just as Ajax was doubting the system, a bright, colourful light suddenly flashed nearby.

The next moment, an elegant lady appeared before Ajax.

She wore a long dress woven from countless colourful petals while faint floral lights danced around her body.

Her long green hair fluttered gently even though there was no wind.

Most importantly, she emitted a sacred and divine aura that made the surroundings feel peaceful.

It was as though she was a goddess of nature herself.

”Floris greets the Summoning Master.”

The elegant lady bowed respectfully toward Ajax with a face filled with suppressed excitement.

”I have successfully completed my evolution and upgraded into a Divine Elemental Spirit.”

”Y-you…you are Floris?”

Ajaxʼs eyes widened in shock.

After all, Floris originally had a transparent spirit body.

But now, she looked no different from a real human lady.

”Yes, Master.”

Floris revealed a gentle smile as she nodded her head.

”So, itʼs really you…Floris.”

Soon, Ajax finally understood the reason behind the earlier system notification.

Thatʼs right.

She was none other than Floris — the Flower Elemental Spirit.

Previously, Ajax had given the Divine Elemental Potion he received from the [Tree of Blessing] to Floris.

After consuming the potion, Floris had entered a cocoon-like state.

And finally, today, she completely finished her Divine Evolution.

ʼI knew the Elemental Spirits would transform from transparent spirit bodies into real bodies after becoming Divine Elemental Spirits.ʼ

ʼHowever, I didnʼt expect her to turn into an actual human.ʼ

Basically, there was almost no difference between the current Floris and a real human lady.

ʼEven though I donʼt have any more Divine Elemental Potions, I can still evolve my other Elemental Spirits.ʼ

After seeing the drastic change in her appearance, Ajax was even more eager to evolve his new Elemental Spirit.

Nevertheless, he suppressed the excitement in his heart and prepared to evolve Necros into a Divine Elemental Spirit with a calm heart.

[Ding]

However, once again, a new system notification appeared before him.

[Due to the effects of the Special Talent: The Elemental Spirit Master, all the Elemental Spirits under the host will automatically evolve into Divine Elemental Spirits]

ʼWhat?ʼ
