New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2124: Exchange (3)

The reason Ajax was so desperate to find a method to summon the sealed Divine Elemental Spirits was naturally, because of the Universeʼs Acknowledgement.

Currently, Ajax has already gained twelve percent acknowledgment from the New Universe in just two weeks.

To others, such speed would already be heaven-defying.

However, Ajax didnʼt think so.

Instead, he believed the process would become increasingly difficult as his acknowledgement percentage increased.

Just like the awakening percentage of Divine Rules became harder and harder to improve at higher levels…

Or how the Elemental Ascendance of Elemental Spirits slowed down drastically after reaching ninety percent…

ʼI am sure a similar thing would happen.ʼ

Ajax believed the Universeʼs Acknowledgement would follow a similar pattern.

If it didnʼt happen, it was good news, and if it did happen, then he would be prepared.

Thus, while twelve percent in two weeks sounded terrifying, Ajax knew the future progress would definitely slow down.

However, if he could summon his Divine Elemental Spirits once again, everything would completely change.

Right now, Ajax could already destroy Smaller Dark Worlds relatively easily with his current strength.

However, Greater Dark Worlds were completely different.

ʼSince there existed the Quasi-Divine Grade Ancestors in this New Universe, the number of Quasi-Divine Rank Dark Beasts in the Dark Region would be much higher.ʼ

Not only were Greater Dark Worlds much larger, but they also contained terrifying Quasi-Divine Rank Dark Beasts and complicated environments in the Old Universe.

Since this New Universe is much more powerful than the Old Universe, Ajax believed there would be comparatively more Quasi-Divine Rank Dark Beasts.

Thus, even Ajax needed considerable time to clear them.

ʼBut if I have access to my Divine Elemental Spirits…ʼ

Ajax was confident he could destroy even Greater Dark Worlds within half a day or perhaps even faster.

And the faster he destroyed Dark Worlds, the faster he could increase the Universeʼs Acknowledgement.

Therefore, after learning that the summoners of this New Universe actually possessed methods capable of summoning sealed Divine Elemental Spirits, Ajax naturally wanted to obtain that method at any cost.

”Donʼt worry. Since you are giving me sixty Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals, I will share the method as an equivalent exchange.”

Thorne calmly spoke with a smile.

According to their earlier exchange, Ajax would give the 60 Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals while Thorne would provide information.

However, until now, Thorne hadnʼt truly shared any valuable information.

At least, that was what Thorne himself believed.

After all, from Thorneʼs perspective, merely confirming the existence of a method to summon Divine Elemental Spirits wasnʼt considered valuable information.

However, for Ajax, that information alone was already worth far more than sixty Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

After all, it gave him hope.

Hope that he could once again summon his Divine Elemental Spirits before ascending to the Heavenly Realm.

Thus, hearing Thorne promise to share the actual method in the future, Ajaxʼs eyes instantly lit up.

”Really?”

Ajax asked with visible excitement.

However, the real reason for his excitement wasnʼt entirely because of Thorneʼs promise.

Instead, Ajax had suddenly thought of an excellent plan.

ʼSince he will eventually obtain the method from Ancestor Magnus Valek…ʼ

ʼDoesnʼt that mean I can simply maintain a good relationship with him until then?ʼ

Ajaxʼs thoughts instantly became active.

After all, directly approaching a terrifying existence like Magnus Valek was too dangerous.

However, Thorne was different.

Not only was he much younger and easier to interact with, but he also clearly held favourable impressions toward Ajax.

Most importantly, once Thorne evolved one of his Elemental Spirits into a Divine Elemental Spirit, he would naturally obtain the secret method from the Iron Mountain Sect.

And at that time, Ajax could obtain it from Thorne without needing to take any unnecessary risks.

ʼLooks like befriending him was indeed the correct choice.ʼ

Ajax inwardly nodded his head.

At the same time, Thorne naturally had no idea that Ajax had already started making long-term plans regarding him.

It was not just Ajax who was making long-term plans regarding his new friend; even Thorne had his own plans for befriending Ajax, a strong body cultivator and a summoner.

ʼLoose cultivators are indeed easy to appease.ʼ

Seeing Ajaxʼs excited expression, Thorne thought Ajax was simply happy about obtaining information related to Divine Elemental Spirits.

Thus, he lightly laughed before speaking again.

”Of course, however, you will probably need to wait for some time.”

”After all, I still need to evolve one of my Elemental Spirits into a Divine Elemental Spirit first.”

Hearing that, Ajax quickly calmed himself down.

Soon, a faint smile appeared on his face as he suddenly spoke.

”How about I help you enter the top ten rankings and obtain the Divine Elemental Potion?”

”What?”

It was Thorneʼs turn to become shocked.

Even though he was considered a genius within the Iron Mountain Sect, Thorne knew very well that compared to some of the true monsters participating in the High-grade Elemental Source Land, his battle prowess was lacking.

Unlike those battle-crazy geniuses who constantly fought life-and-death battles, Thorne spent most of his time studying formations, artifact refinement, and cultivating his Elemental Spirits in a stable environment.

Thus, even though he entered this place hoping to obtain enough Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals, he wasnʼt truly confident in entering the top ten rankings.

Yet now, Ajax was confidently saying that he would help him obtain the Divine Elemental Potion against those battle freaks.

How could Thorne not be shocked?

”Thatʼs right.”

Ajax calmly nodded his head.

”I will help you obtain the Divine Elemental Potion.”

”And once you evolve one of your Elemental Spirits into a Divine Elemental Spirit, your great-grandfather will naturally share the method with you.”

”At that time, you can simply share the method with me.”

Hearing Ajaxʼs explanation, Thorneʼs heart instantly became restless.

After all, if he truly managed to obtain the Divine Elemental Potion, it would greatly change his future.

Not only would it allow one of his Elemental Spirits to evolve into a Divine Elemental Spirit, but it would also give him access to the secret method possessed by the Iron Mountain Sect.

Such an opportunity was simply too tempting.

”If Brother Ajax can truly help me obtain the Divine Elemental Potion…”

Thorne suddenly became serious.

”I swear to the Heavens…”

”Even if that method is a heaven-defying secret of my Iron Mountain Sect, I will still share it with you.”

The moment those words were spoken, a faint, invisible pressure instantly descended from the heavens.

Clearly, the Heavenly Oath had already formed.

Seeing that, Ajax finally relaxed inwardly.

Originally, he still had slight doubts regarding whether Thorne would truly keep his promise in the future.

However, after the Heavenly Oath was established, Ajax no longer doubted him at all.

After all, cultivators would never casually violate Heavenly Oaths unless they were prepared to suffer terrifying backlash from the Heavenly Dao itself.

”Good.”

Ajax lightly nodded his head.

”Then letʼs meet again after nine days.”

”At the Wind Terrain.”

Hearing that, Thorne instantly understood Ajaxʼs intentions.

Since Metal Elemental Spirits naturally countered Wind-type Elemental Beasts, the Wind Terrain was indeed the most suitable place for him to efficiently farm Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals.

Thus, Ajax directly chose it as their rendezvous location.

”I will be waiting for you there, Brother Ajax.”

Thorne clenched his fists tightly.

At this moment, his heart was filled with excitement and nervousness.

After all, he never expected that shortly after entering the High-grade Elemental Source Land, he would suddenly obtain a chance to compete for the top ten rankings.

And all of it was because of this mysterious young man standing before him.
