New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2123: Exchange (2)

Having Divine Elemental Spirits before ascending to the Heavenly Realm would undoubtedly bring enormous benefits to a summoner in the future.

Not only would it greatly increase their status after ascending, but it would also improve their survivability in the Heavenly Realm.

However, Ajax couldnʼt help but think about another problem.

What was the use of having Divine Elemental Spirits if the summoner couldnʼt even survive long enough to ascend to the Heavenly Realm?

After all, once the Elemental Spirits became sealed, the summoner would instantly lose a huge portion of their battle prowess.

Even though the summoner would still retain their Spirit Cultivation, their enemies would also possess similar cultivation.

Whatʼs more, if multiple enemies ganged up on the summoner, then losing access to their Elemental Spirits and Official Elemental Skills could easily place them in life-threatening danger.

Looking toward the future was naturally important.

However, if the present itself became dangerous because of it, was it truly worth taking such a risk?

ʼDuring the past year, I have realised just how important Elemental Spirits are and how useful they can be.ʼ

Ajax silently thought to himself.

ʼUnless a summoner is already prepared to ascend to the Heavenly Realm immediately, evolving their Elemental Spirits into Divine Elemental Spirits simply doesnʼt seem worth it.ʼ

During his Dark Region Exploration, Ajax himself had personally experienced how difficult things became after his Divine Elemental Spirits were sealed.

Even though he still possessed terrifying combat strength thanks to his Divine Body Cultivation, Divine Rules, and the help of his father, Aron, and wife, Siora, another ordinary summoner would have become significantly weaker after losing access to their Elemental Spirits.

Not being able to summon the Elemental Spirits was already a huge disadvantage.

However, not being able to use the Official Skills granted by the Elemental Spirits was an even greater loss.

Therefore, while asking Thorne this question, Ajax secretly hoped that the summoners of this New Universe possessed some special method to solve this problem.

Perhaps…a method to summon the sealed Divine Elemental Spirits.

Meanwhile, hearing Ajaxʼs question, Thorne nodded his head in agreement.

”It is indeed true that evolving Elemental Spirits into Divine Elemental Spirits comes with huge disadvantages.”

However, unlike Ajaxʼs expectations, Thorne maintained a calm smile on his face.

”However…”

”What if there was a method to summon those evolved Divine Elemental Spirits?”

”What?”

Ajaxʼs eyes instantly widened.

Even though he already suspected such a method might exist, hearing Thorne directly confirm it still shocked him greatly.

And compared to shock, Ajax felt even more excitement.

”What is that method?”

Ajax hurriedly asked.

Seeing Ajaxʼs sudden excitement, Thorne awkwardly scratched his cheek before bitterly smiling.

”T-this…I donʼt know.”

”….”

Ajax instantly became speechless.

ʼIf you donʼt know the method, then why did you speak as though you knew it?ʼ

For a moment, Ajax truly felt both disappointed and frustrated.

However, before Ajax could say anything, Thorne quickly continued speaking.

”But I know it definitely exists, and I have seen it with my eyes.”

”My great-grandfather personally told me about it.”

”He said that once I evolve one of my Elemental Spirits into a Divine Elemental Spirit, he would share the method with me.”

Hearing that, Ajaxʼs eyes instantly lit up once again.

”Your great-grandfather….Ancestor Magnus Valek?”

”The Quasi-Divine Grade Ancestor of the Iron Mountain Sect?”

Ajax immediately recalled the information he gathered regarding the Iron Mountain Sect.

As one of the major powerhouses of this New Universe, the Iron Mountain Sect naturally possessed terrifying experts.

And among them, the most famous and strongest one was Ancestor Magnus Valek.

A terrifying existence standing at the peak of the Earth Realm.

Seeing Ajax recognise his great-grandfatherʼs name, even Thorne revealed a faintly proud expression.

”Thatʼs right.”

”My great-grandfather personally confirmed that there are methods capable of temporarily bypassing the seal placed on Divine Elemental Spirits.”

”However, only the truly top powers of the universe possess such methods.”

”And even among them, those methods are treated as absolute secrets.”

Hearing those words, Ajaxʼs heart instantly became restless.

ʼSo it really exists…ʼ

For the first time since entering this New Universe, Ajax finally saw a clear path toward using his Divine Elemental Spirits once again before ascending to the Heavenly Realm.

ʼMaybe…there is a reason why I came to this New Universe.ʼ

For a moment, Ajax thought he was the protagonist of the stories he heard from Boron.

He had no way to summon the Divine Elemental Spirits in the Old Universe and now the Old Universe had sent him here.

However, he shook his head.

ʼIt is just a coincidence and my bad luck.ʼ

ʼAnyway, letʼs focus on how to learn about that method.ʼ

Ajax quickly focused on the main issue and started thinking about how he could learn that method.

ʼShould I ask him to bring me to his great-grandfather?ʼ

ʼNo…it will be very risky.ʼ

ʼEven though Magnus Valek has a good reputation, I donʼt want to risk my life over some third-rate information.ʼ

.

.

.

According to Thorne Valek, his great-grandfather not only knew the method, but also possessed two Divine Elemental Spirits.

So, Ajax wanted to meet him and see whether he could get the method to summon the Divine Elemental Spirits.

However, if things didnʼt go as he planned, there was no way he could escape from someone who had not only achieved the status of a Quasi-Divine Grade Ancestor but also had the ability to summon two Divine Elemental Spirits.

Even though Ajax was confident in his battle prowess, he was not sure exactly how powerful the Quasi-Divine Grade Ancestors were.

However, he was sure about one thing.

If such powerful beings could summon the Divine Elemental Spirits, Ajax knew there was no way he could survive.

Thus, he quickly rejected the idea of meeting Thorneʼs great-grandfather.

ʼWhat should I do?ʼ

ʼWhat should I do now?ʼ

Ajax was racking his brains trying to think of a way to obtain that secret method to summon the Divine Elemental Spirits.

”Donʼt worry. Since I will be taking your Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals, I will share the method.”

As Ajax was racking his brains, Thorne said something that made Ajaxʼs eyes light up.
