New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2108: The Battle for Recognition

In every universe, there existed a unique Heavenly Providence.

These Heavenly Providence were invisible yet supreme existences that governed everything within the universe.

From cultivation systems, world energies, elemental laws and even the ascension to the Heavenly Realm, everything was under the control of the universeʼs Heavenly Providence.

As for beings born within that universe, they were naturally acknowledged by the Heavenly Providence from birth.

However, outsiders were different.

Any being that entered the universe from another universe would be labelled as an ʼAlienʼ by the Heavenly Providence and would be stopped from triggering the Ascension Tribulation to the Heavenly Realm.

Because of an Ascension Tribulation, a large amount of Heavenly Providence would be used, and in case the cultivator successfully ascends to the Heavenly Realm, another wave of Heavenly Providence would be consumed.

[Even though a cultivatorʼs ascension still helps the universe, it wonʼt replenish the Heavenly Providence and would take a long time]

[Thus, any universe didnʼt want some outsider to take all its Heavenly Providence to ascend to the Heavenly Realm, stealing the opportunity from its natives]

ʼSo, the mechanism behind the Ascension Tribulation is Heavenly Providence.ʼ

Until now, Ajax didnʼt even bother to think about it, as he never really had the need to know.

But thanks to his teleportation to a different universe, Ajax understood the concept of Heavenly Providence.

[Moreover, the Divine Rules from universe to universe differ a lot]

[Because of that, triggering the Ascension Tribulation would consume even more Heavenly Providence]

[Thus, these beings were treated as foreign existences, and the universe would instinctively reject them.]

ʼ....ʼ

Ajax could only remain silent as he continued to read the system notifications and tried to understand the whole concept.

[Normally, this rejection wouldnʼt affect weak cultivators much, as they were yet to awaken the Divine Rules. But, not the strong cultivators.]

[So, how could the universe allow an unknown outsider to ascend so easily when it costs so much Heavenly Providence?]

[Unless the outsider gained the recognition of the universe and removed the ʼAlienʼ status, ascending to the Heavenly Realm was almost impossible.]

ʼSo, are you telling me that I canʼt ascend to the Heavenly Realm?ʼ

For a moment, Ajax got panicked.

Because returning to his old universe was basically impossible, and the only way to reunite with his family was by ascending to the Heavenly Realm.

If there was no way for him to ascend, how could he not get panicked?

[Ding, temporarily, the host canʼt ascend unless he destroys his cultivation and starts from the beginning]

ʼNo. I am not interested in destroying my cultivation.ʼ

There was no way Ajax would destroy his own cultivation in a foreign universe where his chances of survival would drastically decrease.

[Or, the second method is that as long as the host removes his ʼAlienʼ status, he can trigger the Ascension Tribulation and ascend to the Heavenly Realm]

ʼRemove the ʼAlienʼ status?ʼ

With the second method, Ajaxʼs eyes lit up.

For him, with his current strength, he was confident in completing any mission. So, he hurriedly asked the system, ʼHow do I do that?ʼ

[Ding]

[There are many ways to get the recognition of the universe]

[1) By clearing the Dark Beasts surrounding the universe]

[Note: The more powerful the Dark Beasts, the quicker the recognition]

[2) Upgrading the Worlds in the universe]

[Note: The higher the World Grade, the faster the recognition]

.

.

.

.

Soon, a big list of methods to get the universeʼs recognition appeared in front of Ajax, making him heave a sigh of relief.

ʼThank god, there are so many methods.ʼ

For Ajax, most of the methods were easy to achieve.

So, he was not worried.

Instead, he read through the list and selected the last method recommended by the system.

[10) By clearing the Dark Worlds in the Dark Region and expanding the universeʼs area (Recommended)]

[Note: Among all the available options, this is the fastest method to get the universeʼs recognition and remove the ʼAlienʼ status]

ʼAlso, I am not new to clearing the Dark Worlds.ʼ

Ajax smiled at the systemʼs recommended method.

The worlds in the Dark Region were called Dark Worlds, which were inhabited by berserk creatures called Dark Beasts, and thus, they were not suitable for living beings.

Whatʼs more, no matter how many times cultivators killed the Dark Beasts in those Dark Worlds, they would spawn again after a certain period of time, making it impossible for regular beings to live there.

Thus, the only way to expand the universeʼs area was by destroying the Dark Worlds.

ʼMost cultivators didnʼt have the ability to destroy Normal Worlds, not to mention destroying the Greater Worlds. However, I can easily destroy them.ʼ

Back in his old universe, Ajax had destroyed countless worlds of all three grades, such as Smaller Worlds, Normal Worlds and Greater Worlds.

So, even if the system didnʼt recommend this method, he would have still chosen it.

ʼMoreover, this method coincides with killing the Dark Beasts and upgrading the worlds inside the universe.ʼ

To destroy any world, whether it was a universeʼs world or a Dark World of the Dark Region, one had to clear all the living beings residing on that world.

So, Ajax had to kill all the Dark Beasts in the Dark Worlds.

After that, he could enter the worldʼs Core Realm and extract the World Core which would completely destroy the entire world.

As for the extracted World Core, after purification, it could be used to upgrade the worlds inside the universe.

In short, this last method would help Ajax rapidly gain the recognition of the universe.

ʼFrom the looks of it, I am at the border of this new universe and the Dark Region.ʼ

Once Ajax figured out the way to gain the universeʼs recognition, he finally started checking his surroundings.

The world around him was filled with endless darkness, and the sky was greyish-black without a single ray of sunlight.

Even the air carried a dense, dark aura that made regular cultivators feel irritated and restless.

Below him was a vast black ocean that continuously released thick dark essence into the surroundings.

Occasionally, giant dark tentacles would emerge from the black ocean before disappearing once again.

ʼThere is no doubt it is a Dark World.ʼ

Ajax smiled as he muttered, ʼTime to figure out how much recognition I can earn by destroying this world.ʼ

With that, Ajax started his first battle…no, massacre in the new universe.
