New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 986: Source of Cursed Energy

”I awakened a skill called ʼSelf-recoveryʼ.”

Without wasting any time, Ajax directly informed them about the Self-recovery ability he gained from the new system feature.

At the same time, he made a small cut on his palm.

ʼSwooshʼ

Within a few seconds, the bleeding stopped and after a minute or so, the light cut on Ajaxʼs palm started healing at a speed where normal eyes could see.

ʼI canʼt say about the Sacred Astral Healer. At least for now.ʼ

Of course, when decided to say what he gained in the earlier enlightenment, Ajax was not going to tell about the Sacred Astral Healer

”Isnʼt it related to Sacred Energy?”

Master Elek replied to Ajax with a surprised look on his face.

”Yes, Master Elek. I had gained a little enlightenment in Sacred Pool and now, I am finally able to awaken a skill relating to that energy.”

Why would Ajax reject Master Elekʼs words? So, he directly nodded his head.

”Excellent.”

Master Elek knew how valuable the skill was. So, he was happy for Ajax before looking at Nameless cultivator and said, ”When he gains more enlightenment in that skill, he could even regenerate his body parts without any problem.”

”I know that.”

Nameless cultivator also nodded his head with a slight smile on his face.

ʼDing,

The system detected a Cursed Energy Source beside the host. Touch the source to instantly absorb all Cursed Energy.

All of a sudden, the same system notification from earlier appeared in his head making Ajax raise his brows.

ʼIt looks like my guess is right! The source of the so-called Cursed Energy is none other than Senior Nameless.ʼ

Looking at the Nameless cultivator, Ajax silently thought in his head.

ʼSystem, if I absorb all the Cursed Energy from Senior Nameless, will it cause any harm to him?ʼ

Ajax didnʼt touch Nameless cultivator directly; instead, he asked the system whether something would happen to Nameless cultivator if I absorb all the Cursed Energy.

ʼDing,

It will not harm Nameless cultivators in any way except for a little pain.

ʼPain?ʼ

Ajax heaved a sigh of relief when he heard the systemʼs initial words; however, when he saw ʼLittle painʼ, Ajax could not help but frown a little.

According to the system, a little pain means it would be as painful as breaking all the bones in the body. So, he hesitated a little to whether to absorb the Cursed Energy from Nameless cultivator.

Because he already found a stable source of Astral Energy. So, there was no need for him to cause pain for Nameless cultivator just for some units of Cursed Energy.

ʼDing,

Once all the Cursed Energy from Nameless cultivator is removed, he can become a normal human with the same cultivation.

ʼWhat?ʼ

Ajax got shocked when he heard the systemʼs words in his head as he looked at the half-corroded face of Nameless cultivator.

ʼSystem, explain to me properly.ʼ

Controlling his emotions, Ajax asked the system to give the full information.

Even though he got the basic information, Ajax wanted to know more about it.

ʼDing,

The Cursed Energy in the Nameless cultivator and his cursed army has become so pure and powerful that it is not allowing him to become a normal human despite trying all the available methods.

ʼDing,

However, the host can absorb the purest Cursed Energy from Nameless cultivatorʼs body which would not only benefit the host in getting more number units for Cursed Energy but it will also help Nameless cultivator in becoming a normal human.

To his reply, the system sent two notifications that helped Ajax understand everything.

ʼExcellent.ʼ

Ajax was still unable to believe that he could help Nameless cultivator become a normal human again.

At the same time, he was feeling excited because he could help someone who lived away from the humans for more than 20 years.

ʼLetʼs see how many units of Cursed Energy I will get from him.ʼ

Since the system had said that he could instantly absorb the Cursed Energy, he was guessing how many units he would get.

With that thought in his mind, Ajax didnʼt waste any more time as he took two steps towards Nameless cultivator.

”Senior Nameless, close your eyes.”

Ajax didnʼt bother wasting time by saying everything; instead, he directly asked Nameless cultivator to close his eyes.

”As long as you endure the pain, I can turn you back into a human form.”

At the same time, Ajax remembered the pain that the Nameless cultivator had to go through. So, he briefly informed Nameless cultivator about it.

ʼWhat?ʼ

Both Master Elek and Nameless cultivator were shocked by Ajaxʼs words as they looked at each othersʼ faces.

ʼBrother Elek, can I trust Ajax?ʼ

Nameless cultivator didnʼt know much about Ajax; however, he didnʼt want to sound rude by directly rejecting Ajaxʼs offer because Ajax had a powerful master and anything could be possible with Ajax.

Moreover, what made Nameless cultivator restless was, Ajaxʼs master had already given him a mysterious spirit cultivation technique.

And according to the old man, it would take at least 10 years for him to become a normal human; however, now, Ajax was saying that he would instantly turn him into a human with a little pain.

So, he was confused about who he should believe.

ʼSince Ajax was looking confident, maybe he might have found something. According to what I know, Ajax was not a person that would carelessly say things. So, he must have something for his confidence.ʼ

Master Elek didnʼt reply to Nameless cultivator instantly; instead, he looked at Ajaxʼs face for a few moments before replying to him.

ʼOkay. I will give him a chance then.ʼ

Once he got the confirmation from Master Elek, Nameless cultivator decided to give Ajax a chance in helping him.

”I will endure it.”

Nameless cultivator nodded his head and readied himself for the pain that would come soon.

ʼSystem, do your thing.ʼ
