New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 957: Guild Masterʼs unusual behaviour

”Master Elek, if you donʼt mind, I want to enter your secret realm in the future for some time.”

Ajax walked towards Master Elek and asked Elek without any hesitation.

”Of course. You can enter anytime you want.”

Why would Master Elek not allow Ajax into his secret realm? The more he helped Ajax, the greater the reward will be in the future.

So, he nodded his head with a slight smile on his face as he asked Ajax, ”Is it because of Astral Energy?”

Even before Ajax could state his reason to enter the ʼAstral Heartʼ secret realm, Master Elek already guessed it.

Since he already had enough Sacred Energy, all he needed was Astral Energy.

Even though he could get Astral Energy from the Astral Moss Branch, he had to wait 10 days to get a single unit of Astral Energy. So, he wanted another source of Astral Energy to reduce the time taken for him to become Sacred Astral Healer.

”Yes, Master Elek. Can I know how much time it will take for the Astral Mountain to absorb the Astral Energy?”

Actually, itʼs been only a couple of weeks since everyone entered the Astral Heart secret realm to absorb the Astral Energy and almost sucked everything from the Astral Mountain.

So, Ajax wanted to wait until the Astral Mountain was filled with Astral Energy and then, he would enter the secret realm to absorb the required amount of Astral Energy.

”It will take around a decade for the Astral Mountain to be filled with Astral Energy.”

With a proud look on his face, Master Elek replied to Ajax.

Previously, he had to leave the Astral mountain for 9 to 10 years without cultivating it for the sake of his future disciples and that was the reason the Astral Mountain was brimming with Astral Energy when Ajax went to the secret realm last time.

Moreover, in Master Elekʼs view, 10 years is a time worth waiting for the mountain full of Astral Energy.

ʼWhat?ʼ

Even though Master Elek had a proud look, it was not a good thing for Ajax. For him, a decade is too long to wait.

”What happened, Ajax? Is something wrong?”

Master Elek thought Ajax would be elated with his reply; however, when he saw the shock on Ajaxʼs face, he felt something wasnʼt right and asked Ajax about it.

”Master Elek, my master asked me to collect Astral Energy for some reason. So, I am searching for it and the time limit my master has given me was only a year. So, I canʼt wait for 10 years for Astral Energy.”

Soon, he used his master name once again because he didnʼt know what to say if Master Elek asked why he needed Astral Energy.

ʼI simply canʼt say that I need Astral Energy to merge it with Sacred Energy so that I could gain Sacred Astral Energy to become a Sacred Astral Healer, right?ʼ

Ajax thought to himself like that and waited for Master Elek to say something in reply.

As a cultivator who was using Astral Energy for his cultivator for many decades now, how could Master Elek didnʼt have other ways to gather Astral Energy?

So, Ajax was waiting for Master Elek to say one or two places where he could get the Astral Energy.

ʼDamn it. I thought I could help him and gain the favour of the powerful master; however, there goes my….. Wait a second.ʼ

When he heard Ajaxʼs words, Master Elek cursed himself at his bad luck because he thought he could gain favour from Ajaxʼs imaginary master.

However, amidst his cursing, Master Elek thought of something; however, he hesitated a little as he looked at the guild master.

”Are you thinking of him?”

When he saw the Master Elekʼs gaze, the guild master raised his brows and asked him.

Not only the guild master but the remaining vagrant cultivators also raised their brows because they knew what the guild master said and what Master Elek was implying.

”If you donʼt want to, letʼs just forget it.”

Looking at everyone, Master Elek shook his head.

”Let it be. Itʼs been so long and I can forgive him.”

The Guild master gritted his teeth before saying those words as he continued, ʼhowever, I am not going to meet him. You have to convince him to get what you want.ʼ

As soon as he finished his words, the guild master disappeared from his place without a trace.

”Thank you, Rae.”

Master Elek thanked the guild master as he turned to look at Ajax with a slight smile on his face before saying, ”Meet me tomorrow evening in the mercenary guild. Donʼt be late; otherwise, it will be your loss.”

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as he finished his words, Master Elek and the remaining vagrant cultivators disappeared from their places.

ʼWhat?ʼ

ʼWhy did the Guild master become gloomy when Master Elek looked at him earlier.ʼ

ʼAlso, who did the Guild master forgive and why was he not willing to meet the person whom he forgave.ʼ

ʼFirst of all, who the hell is that person and what crime did he commit?ʼ

With the earlier conversation between Master Elek and the guild master, Ajaxʼs questions in his head increased by another ton.

ʼIf my questions continue to increase, my head might explode.ʼ

Ajax bitterly smiled as he thought to himself as he continued, ʼAnyway, after tomorrow, I hope those questions will disappear from my head.ʼ

Unlike his previous questions which he had to wait for a long time, these questions that formed in his head today would be cleared as long as he followed Master Elek tomorrow.

So, he felt a little better thinking about it.

ʼAnyway, it is finally time for me to enter my dimensional crevice to become a full owner of it.ʼ

With that thought in his mind, Ajax rushed towards the dimension crevice with a face full of excitement.
