New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 960: Boulder Fire Salamanders

#Bonus chapter

Hearing Elderʼs Boronʼs words, all three young men were shocked because they didnʼt expect Elder Boron would send them to different worlds for gathering the cultivation resources and at the same time, they have to conquer the world.

Even though there will be one or two King realm cultivators in smaller worlds, Jason and others were not powerful enough to go against a King realm cultivator with their current cultivation.

”Thatʼs right! I will send you to someone the smaller worlds that are controlled by evil beings like abyss devils or bronze demons. All you have to do is kill them and collect all the cultivation resources.”

”Also, you donʼt have to worry about getting killed by the King realm cultivator. I will give you a couple of items that could save your lives three times.”

In a single breath, Elder Boron explained everything about their missions.

”We are ready, Elder Boron.”

Once they heard about the items that could save their lives, Jason and others became excited and hurriedly nodded their heads.

”Good. Once you conquer the world, I will come to you to check your haul.”

With a slight smile on his face, Elder Boron nodded his head as he threw three space rings at the three young men.

And at the same time, he threw three talismans into the air which created three portals to the smaller worlds.

”Pick one and enter into it. In this mission, you can use any method you want. There are no limitations or whatsoever.”

Elder reminded them that they could do anything they wanted, making the three young men halt in their steps as they revealed slight smiles on their faces before jumping into the three different portals.

...

ʼWhere am I?ʼ

While Elder Boron was sending Jason and others on some mission to conquer the smaller worlds, Ajax opened his eyes in completely unfamiliar surroundings.

His surroundings were completely filled with huge boulders everywhere and there were three suns in the sky that were releasing heat waves that would dehydrate anyone within a few minutes.

”If I didnʼt temper my body with the fires from Red kitty, I would have not endured such pain.”

Currently, Ajax was feeling an uncomfortable feeling in his body because of the heat waves emitted by the three suns and felt that he was still able to stand because of the fire tempering.

Whatʼs more, he was unable to absorb the heat energy which made him a little bit frustrated.

”You might be here for the trial.”

All of a sudden, an old man appeared in front of Ajax out of nowhere as he hovered in the mid-air.

”Yes.”

Even though he hadnʼt seen the old man before, Ajax felt he might be the previous owner of the dimensional crevice. So, he nodded his head.

”Good. So, are you ready for the trial?”

The old man nodded his head as he asked Ajax whether he was ready for the trial.

”I am always ready.”

Ajax excitedly nodded his head as he waited for the old man to explain about the trial.

”The trial is very simple. All you have to do is drink water from that pool.”

While pointing his finger at the pool which seemed to be around two kilometers and asked Ajax to drink water from that pool.

ʼIt should be more than two kilometers but I think I can do it; otherwise, the trial will be too easy for me.ʼ

Ajax felt the trial was a little bit difficult because of the heat emitted by the three suns

”I will do it.”

Nodding his head, Ajax started walking towards the distant pool.

ʼHuh? Interesting...he was not surprised or disappointed with the trial and accepted it after thinking for a moment. Looks like he is not like me who used to run after anything that gives me good things without thinking.ʼ

Seeing that, the old man hovering in the mid-air shook his head as he felt nostalgic thinking about his youth.

ʼThis is not enough to go against them. I need to test his endurance and determination too.ʼ

Soon, the old man controlled his emotions and hovered towards Ajax before saying, ”Kid, I forgot to tell you. There are many Boulder fire salamanders hiding in the ground. So, keep an eye on them. Good luck.”

As soon as he finished his words, the old man disappeared from his place without a trace.

ʼWhat?ʼ

Ajax frowned when he heard the old manʼs words and hurriedly looked at the ground because he heard the rumbling sound coming out of the ground.

ʼRumbleʼ

The rumbling continued to increase with each passing second and before Ajax could notice, one after another bright red-coloured fire salamanders came out of the ground.

They were one meter in height and three-meter long as they moved in a zig-zag manner.

ʼWhat the hell?ʼ

There were more than 100 boulder fire salamanders. Moreover, the heat waves coming from the three suns made him a little dizzy. So, Ajax was unable to keep track of them.

ʼDamn it..just when I felt everything was going easy and here comes the difficulty.ʼ

Even though Ajax said that he felt a little bit excited and shouted, ”Since you want to die so bad, let me fulfil your wish.”

As soon as he said that, he shouted, ʼTwilight, come out and say hello to your minions.ʼ

Ajax didnʼt want to waste his energy on killing the fire salamanders. Moreover, there were more than 1000 fire salamanders now and from the looks of it, there was no end to the fire salamanders that were coming from the sand.

ʼDing,

The host is in a special illusion realm. So, he canʼt summon any of his elemental spirits or contracted spirit beasts.

Instead of the appearance of the huge dragon, he received a system notification in reply to his summoning call.

ʼWhat the...ʼ

Ajax became furious when he saw the notification; however, before he could finish his sentence, he was swarmed by the fire salamanders.
