New Age Of Summoners

480 Change of plans

ʼDamn these lowly demon servants, they canʼt even withstand the side effects of the rage potion and blindly move towards the target and they donʼt even stop to kill the humans that were killing them,ʼ A demon general with a huge scar on his face looked at the massacre done by Ajax and his summons and cursed the demon servants.

ʼAnd these other demon generals canʼt even cooperate with me to kill the summoner kid,ʼ He also cursed his fellow demon generals who were too arrogant to cooperate with others that made him completely furious.

Even though that demon general was at level 6, he didnʼt have complete confidence in him to kill Ajax.

ʼMy senses are saying that I canʼt win against him if I fight face to face with him,ʼ He continued to think of a plan to kill Ajax and waited for a chance to sneak up on him to kill in one hit.

ʼNow,ʼ

Finally, after observing Ajax for some time, he found a chance to sneak up on him.

”If I kill you, the way for the demon army will be cleared,” Without wasting any time, he used his short sword and slashed at Ajax.

ʼShit, where did he come from. I donʼt have time to dodge his attack,ʼ Even though Ajax was very careful he didnʼt notice the enemy until he spoke.

ʼDamn it, am I going to die here without a chance to complete my revenge on the assassin sect and I still didnʼt find where my friends are,ʼ

He was in a very difficult position and didnʼt have time to dodge. So, he could not help but mutter about his revenge and his friends.

ʼSwooshʼ

However, just when the short sword was about to cut Ajaxʼs body into two, a small black silhouette appeared in the space between Ajax and the demon general.

Before the demon general could see what had appeared in front him, a black coloured energy beam appeared from the silhouetteʼs mouth that decimated the entire demon generalʼs body into nothing.

ʼDing,

Killed a demon general

No essence of nature gained.

Ajax, who had his face looking in a straight direction was surprised to hear that notification and hurried turned back to see a small black coloured fox.

Thatʼs right! It was none other than the three-eyed ghost fox.

He used his recently awakened skill to teleport himself between Ajax and the demon general before using a dark beam at him.

”Ghost?” Ajax was shocked to see the ghost fox as he didnʼt expect he was saved by him.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼNoʼ

Before he could say anything, the ghost fox, which was in the mid-air, looked tired and starting to fall down. However, Ajax caught him and immediately checked his vitals.

ʼPhewʼ

Only after sensing that the ghost fox was just tired after using two powerful skills, he was able to heave a sigh of relief.

”Now, you have successfully angered me,” Ajax looked was already pissed that a demon general sneaked upon him and he was about to be killed and when he saw that the demon army was still forcing their way towards the exit of the cursed wilderness, as though he and his summons were not even there.

ʼSystem, how much essence ofo nature is left in my spirit consciousness,ʼ He asked the system before throwing his spear at the demon servants and killing them.

ʼDing,

Around 2000 units of the essence of nature have left in the hostʼs spirit consciousness.

The system instantly replied as it knew Ajax was planning something.

ʼDamn it. It is still not enough to use the nether hogʼs longhorn,ʼ Ajax cursed at his own luck as those 2000 units of the essence of nature were not of any use for it to use his trump cards.

”I think I should use the stabilizing crystal even before I complete the target. But that will decrease my body cultivation to the level 10 of the elite commander realm and the reward for the third target will be wasted,”

Before he could complete his thought of using the stabilizing crystal to increase his spirit cultivation, he quickly rejected it without a moment of hesitation.

All of sudden, when he looked at Cerauno, Ajax thought of something.

ʼSystem, if I merge with Cerauno and kill the demons, will it be counted into my third target?ʼ Ajax asked the system about his idea while continuously killing the demon servants all around him.

ʼDing,

No, it will not be counted into the target; however, it could help you complete your other mission.

The system reply made Ajax fall into thinking and all of sudden, he thought about something again.

ʼThatʼs right! Why am I just wasting time on my bonus mission, as long as I delay them for 15 minutes I could complete the main mission and I will get rewards from them and then I can slowly complete the mission,ʼ All of a sudden, Ajax felt excited and looked at the exit of the cursed wilderness.

The distance to the exit was gradually decreasing. So, Ajax didnʼt waste any time before looking at the lighting elemental spirit, Cerauno.

Since delaying the demon army was an ʼAʼ danger rating mission, he would get far greater rewards than the little bonus mission.

”Cerauno, merge,”

As soon as he said that, the lightning elemental spirit rushed towards him and entered into Ajaxʼs body. Along with that, Ajaxʼs body changed a little and he was completely surrounded by lightning arcs that made him look like a lightning warrior.

ʼLetʼs kill this bastard, Cerauno,ʼ

ʼSpearsʼ

Ajax thought to himself before jumping into the middle of the demon army and made countless lighting spears using Cerauno weapon-making skill.

ʼAdvanced Enchantmentʼ

After forming the countless spears around him, Ajax increased the power of the spears he had just created with Ceruanoʼs level 2 Advanced enchantment.

With that skill, the attack power of those lightning spears was increased by 70 percent. Ajax just wanted to make sure to kill the demon servant with a single strike.

ʼGoʼ

ʼSwooshʼ ʼswooshʼ

With a thought, countless lightning spears pierced into the surrounding demon servants and mutated demon servants that were hiding in the demon army.

ʼDing,

Killed a demon general

No essence of nature gained.

ʼDing,

Killed a demon general

No essence of nature gained.

..

...

The system notifications continuously rang in his head informing about his kills.

Although he could mute those notifications, he was quite excited with those system notifications that he got after every kill which made his blood rise and thirst for more killing.

”Volcanis, Bane, kill the demon servants in the front whereas I will cover the middle area with the same move I used earlier,” After looking at the damage done by the long lightning spears, Ajax immediately order two of his strongest elemental spirits to kill the demon servants in the front row.

ʼWe can do this,ʼ Ajax finally got full confidence in completing the mission and thought in his head with a focused look on his face.
