New Age Of Summoners

468 Second batch of the demon army

The second target of the bonus mission:- 31/100.

Soon, the system sent the progress bar for the second target of the bonus mission.

ʼGood,ʼ

Seeing the number of demon servants he had killed in the second target, Ajax was satisfied and nodded his head.

ʼIs it all this peaceful?ʼ

Only now did Ajax notice the silence in his surroundings and asked himself while observing the calm cursed wilderness environment.

Until now, the surroundings were noisy with the sounds from the battle with the demon servants; however, now there were no demon servants near them as they were already heading towards the exit of the cursed wilderness.

Time continued to pass and after less than 30 minutes, the nine young cultivators slowly started opening their eyes one by one.

ʼThey look a little different from before,ʼ Ajax noticed a brilliant light in their eyes for a second before it disappeared and at the same time, he also noticed some changes in their movements.

As they were walking towards Edmond and others, they were in perfect synchronization as all nine young cultivators were the same.

ʼSystem, do you know what they awakened just now?ʼ Ajax was curious and asked the system to know about it.

ʼDing,

Pay 2000 units of the essence of nature to know about it.

ʼSo, you are back to the business. I thought you changed,ʼ Ajax bitterly shook his head and didnʼt bother to use the essence of nature to know about the awakening of the nine young cultivators.

The essence of nature in his spirit consciousness was very less and he needed them for emergency purposes. So, he doesnʼt want to waste the essence of nature.

Fearless gorilla, Dark flame and Heavenly raven walked towards Ajax as he was closest to them.

”Hey Ajax, thanks for protecting us while we are awakening,” The three young cultivators thanked Ajax and Darbaudr for protecting them.

”No problem. Letʼs go and meet up with others,” Ajax stood up from the ground and shook his head before suggesting to move towards others.

No one had a problem with it as they started moving towards Edmond and others.

”By the way, Brother Gorilla, what did you guys awaken until now?”

Since the system was asking for the essence of nature for that information, he tried asking about it to the awakener.

”Huh? It is called nine-men awakening,” The Fearless gorilla looked at Ajax for a moment and continued explaining, ”To awaken it, we nine people needed to cultivate a secret technique and along with it, we needed to train until everyone of us is exhausted.”

Fearless gorilla stopped and looked at the Dwarf like Dark flame.

After Fearless gorilla, Dark flame continued and explained about the nine men awakening to the best of his knowledge.

”Oh,”

Ajax nodded his head and asked another thing, ”So, what are the uses of this nine-men awakening? It must be very great, right?”

Since the nine-men awakening needed nine people to cultivate a secret technique and needed various other critical conditions to be fulfilled. So, Ajax expected the effects of this nine-men awakening must be good.

By the time Ajax asked his question, they had joined Edmond and others.

”Huh? You want to know the effects of the nine-men awakening?” Edmond raised his brows before chucking to himself and said, ”Just wait a little longer and you will see what it can do.”

Dark flame, who was about to say the uses of the nine-men awakening stopped his explanation when he received a glare from Captain Edmond.

ʼSighʼ

Ajax secretly sighed as he knew Edmond was doing this on purpose for him to continue to hang in curiosity.

ʼI think, I need to wait for a while before I know the true power of the nine-men awakening,ʼ Ajax didnʼt ask about its use when he saw everyone was ignoring him as though they were afraid to answer his question.

”Okay, everyone, what do you want to do now? Shall we take some rest or head straight to the battle?” Edmond was satisfied with his adopted children and asked about their choice.

The reason Edmond wanted them to enter the demon world was for the sake of this nine-men awakening. Since the awakening was successfully finished even before they entered the demon world, Edmond didnʼt bother with the demon world.

So, he casually asked everyone about what would be their choice.

”I want to fight,”

”I want to fight.”

.

.

.

All the nine young cultivators were excited to test the power of their awakening. So, without any hesitation, they choose to fight the demon army.

”I am always ready to fight,” Even though he had less than 20 percent of the essence of nature in his spirit consciousness, he wanted to fight because he had a target to finish in the bonus and completing that target would increase his spirit cultivation by another two minor realms.

So, how could he think about resting when there were free cultivation energy orbs in front of him.

”Okay then, letʼs go and start killing the demons that dared to invade our human world,” Edmond, with a shout motivated all the others around him and moved towards the exit of the cursed wilderness to catch up to the demon army.

Behind him, the rest of the group also followed Edmond.

ʼThud thud thudʼ

ʼThud thud thudʼ

”Kill Kill Kill”

However, just as they took a couple of steps, the black portal to the demon world in the distance was enlarged its size by two times. From it, another batch of demon servants with the same set of armour and spear walked out of it while shouting the word ʼKillʼ.

Moreover, the demon army in this batch had almost the same size of the first batch; however, the lowest cultivation strength of the demon servant in this batch was level 1 of the elite commander realm.

Just like the previous batch of the demon army, this batch also did not bother much with the presence of Edmond and others and moved to the exit of the cursed wilderness.

ʼDamn it. Why did the portalʼs size increase that big,ʼ When the size of the portal to the demon world, Edmond felt some bad premonition in his heart and continued thinking, ʼLooks like some high-level demon generals will be coming out now.ʼ

After thinking of this possibility, Edmond didnʼt waste any time before ordering the rest of the group, ”Everyone, this batch is more powerful than the earlier one. There might be many mutated demon servants along with more elite demon generals. So, be careful while fighting.”

”Yes, Captain,” Except for Udo and Darabudr, the rest of the group seriously nodded their heads in response to Edmondʼs words.

”Hahaha...we have met once again, Edmond or should I call you Captain Edmond?” Just as the young cultivators nodded their heads, an eerie voice came from the demon army which made Edmondʼs face become serious all of sudden.
