469 Mocking the demon general

Only when the black silhouette stopped moving, Ajax and others were able to see the true appearance of that black silhouette.

The demon in front of them had an above-average build and with only one horn on his left forehead. As for the other horn, it was half the size of the left horn.

”Long time no see, Captain Edmond. I am continuously hearing your name even in the demon world. No one wonder, you have become very powerful compared to the last time we have met,” the elite demon general glanced at Ajax and others before focusing on Edmond and started praising him.

”You have also become powerful. Just like me, you have also broken through to the elite general realm,”?Edmondʼs serious expression returned to normal and with a slight smile on his face, he replied to the elite demon general with a single horn.

”Shall we resume our fighting from the past?” the elite demon general took out his huge black sword and stood in a fighting stance while challenging Edmond.

”Why not? I have already given you a great memory for your entire life when we fought last time,” Edmond mocked the elite demon general while taking out his heavy sword.

”You go and test your skills on the demon army,” Before he could start his fighting, Edmond looked at the young cultivators and ordered them to try their new awakening and other skills.

After that, he looked at Udo and Darabudr before saying, ”Please be careful and try to protect the young ones and try to eliminate as many demon servants as possible.”

Everyone nodded their heads at Edmondʼs words before moving away from Edmond and rushed towards the second batch of the demon army.

As for the first batch of the demon army, no one bothered about it.

”Edmond, because of you, I am unable to talk to my friends and even demon servants started mocking me behind my back,” The elite demon general looked at Edmond with hatred and continued, ”From that moment, I have decided that I will kill you with my own hands and devour you before assimilating your cultivation as my own.ʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSlashʼ

After saying his words, the elite demon general rushed at Edmond and slashed his sword at him.

”Hehe”

However, in reply to the elite demon generalʼs words, Edmond simply smiled and casually blocked the huge black sword with his own sword.

”Who do you think you are? Do you still think I am the past Edmond, who is still in the general realm?” Edmond didnʼt attack the elite demon general and lightly pushed him back with his sword.

The elite demon general was pushed back by more than 10 meters with Edmondʼs light push.

”Huh? When did you enter the level 5 of the elite general realm?” The elite demon general was shocked by Edmondʼs light push and asked Edmond about his cultivation.

”Huh? A monster peach? Where did you get it?” The elite demon general once again rushed towards Edmond with his huge sword and asked about the monster peach.

ʼSlashʼ

ʼBlockʼ

”Itʼs none of your business,” This time, Edmond blocked the huge black sword with his right hand and gave a powerful punch with his left hand into the chest of the elite demon general.

”How is it? Powerful?”

Edmond mocked the elite demon general as he had bad blood with this demon.

A few years ago, when Edmond was on a solo mission to rescue a small town from the demon invasion, he had met this demon general. At that time, both Edmond and that elite demon general were only in the general realm.

However, Edmond was unable to save the small town from the small demon unit that was led by this elite demon general.

In a fit of rage, Edmond killed all the demon servants in the small demon units before started fighting with the demon general.

After some intense fighting, Edmond managed to cut the right horn of the demon general.

As soon as the demon horn was cut off by Edmond, the demon general escaped back to the demon world without any hesitation.

ʼPoor residents of that small town who were mercilessly killed by your unit. If I was able to reach there in time I would have saved them easily,ʼ This was the thought that lingered in Edmondʼs head from time to time. So, he swore to kill this demon general when they met again in the future.

To his surprise, the time for his revenge for the resident of the small town had come earlier than he thought and wanted to torture him before killing him.

”Itʼs powerful,” the elite demon general placed his hand on his chest and replied with a slight smile on his face, ”By the way, I forgot to tell you something, just like you I have encountered my own fortuitous events...hehe.”

The elite demon general stood up from the ground and looking at Edmond he split some black blood from his mouth onto the ground.

ʼHuh?ʼ Hearing his words, Edmond raised his brows as he suddenly felt a bad premonition in his heart and was careful all of sudden.

”My servants, come here and merge with me,”

The elite demon general performed some mysterious symbols with his hands and shouted at the demon army.

As soon as he did that, a dozen demon servants came out of the huge demon army and stood around the elite demon general before turning into a black gas and entered into his body.

With each passing second, the elite demon generalʼs cultivation started increasing.

From level 2 of the elite general realm to level 3, level 4 and finally the increment in his cultivation was stopped at level 5 of the elite general realm.

”Holy heck. What a cool technique, who have got. Looks like I need to use a little more than my 50 percent of my strength,”

Even after seeing the increment in the cultivation of the elite demon general, Edmond mocked him as he wanted to torment the elite demon general even more.

”Youu...”

The elite demon general was successfully triggered by Edmondʼs words and without any delay, he rushed towards Edmond with his huge black sword.

ʼLooks Like I need to use my full strength to block this attack,ʼ Edmond looked at the incoming demonʼs attack and thought in his head.

Although he mocked the elite demon general, Edmond was only trying to irritate him. In actual fact, he was very serious about the elite demon general with a boosted cultivation.

.....

”Captain Edmond is truly very powerful,”

Ajax looked at Edmondʼs punch and felt goosebumps and thought, ʼI did a good thing by giving the monster peach to him.ʼ

”Ajax, behind you,”

As he was thinking, the beautiful Snow storm anxiously warned Ajax to look behind him.

However, Ajax was in his deep thoughts and didnʼt hear her warning.
