New Age Of Summoners

453 Another Elite Demon general

ʼAnyway, I should not forget that the demon general is an elite general cultivator,ʼ Ajax consoled himself with the cultivation difference between him and the demon general.

”Darabudr, you take care of him, I will train with these demon servants,”

Ajax didnʼt waste any time as he knew what kind of situation they were in. Even a moment of carelessness would cost them their life.

So, he ordered Darbaudr to fight the demon servant while he would focus on completing the target in the bonus mission.

”Yes, young master,” the barbarian nodded his head at Ajax before looking at the demon general, who was painfully shrieking while holding onto his hands.

”Shall we start our fight?” Looking at the demon general, Darbaudr slowly moved towards him with a cruel expression on his barbarian face.

”All of you, why didnʼt you stop fighting. Continue to fight until you are exhausted completely,” Edmond didnʼt interrupt Darabudr as he knew that Darbaudr was enough to finish the injured demon general and ordered his adopted children to fight the demon army.

When they heard his words, all of their previous expressions like envy towards Ajax had changed into a serious one and started using their full strength to fight against the demon army.

”Die,”

Darbaudr didnʼt waste any time talking to the demon general in front of him and directly rushed towards him to finish him off.

He was not using any weapons and within a few seconds, the barbarian had appeared behind the demon general before clutching the back of his neck in one hand while using his other hand to seal the space around the demon general that made him immobile.

ʼUghh...ʼ

The demon general was completely helpless with Darbaudrʼs attack and thought he would die.

”A barbarian? Interesting,” Just when Darbaurdr about to increase the force to crush the next of the demon general, some voice was heard by Darbaudr from his back.

The voice was very close like there was no gap between them at all that made Darbaudr release the demon generalʼs neck in his hand and distanced himself from behind the demon general.

”Huh? Who is there?”

Darbaudr immediately looked in the direction from where he heard the words; however, he didnʼt see anyone and asked while carefully looking at the demon army.

”What happened Darbaudr?”

Edmond raised his brows and asked Darbaudr with confusion on his face.

Udo also looked at him with a puzzled expression.

”Huh? Didnʼt you see someone behind my back earlier?” Darbaudrʼs face became even more serious as he understood something and asked Edmond and Udo.

ʼLooks like there is an even more powerful demon general among the demon army,ʼ Darabaudr confirmed this and hurriedly informed both Edmond and Udo about his thoughts.

ʼWhat? Itʼs impossible for two demon generals to appear in the first batch,ʼ

” Also, there is no one behind you earlier. You must be tired and imagined that,”

Edmond and Udo said their thoughts on Darabudrʼs words and clearly didnʼt believe him as it was clearly impossible for two demon generals to appear in the beginning as it would make the portal unstable.

”Do whatever you want. But remain fully focused and I donʼt want anyone to be killed by the other demon general,” Darbaudr didnʼt bother to explain another line and instead wanted them to be extra careful while he looked at the demon general in front of him, who was smiling at him.

”Huh?”

Edmond suddenly thought of something and muttered, ʼWhat if they use some type of treasure to stabilize the portal? Damn it. Why didnʼt I think of this earlier?ʼ

Edmond cursed himself for being careless and thinking that everything was going according to his plan.

ʼUdo, keep an eye on the other demon general. Since we are unable to sense him, he must be stronger than us or must be using some kind of treasure to hide his presence. Nevertheless, we have to be careful,ʼ After thinking about the demons using something to stabilize the portal, Edmond hurriedly asked Udo to believe Darbaudrʼs words to keep an eye on the other demon general.

ʼSure,ʼ

This time Udo believed that there was another demon general along with the injured demon general in front of him.

Since Udo still had some suspicions on Ajax and Darbaudrʼs origins, he didnʼt believe Darabudr because everything that the barbarian had said seemed like a lie to him.

However, that was not a case if Edmond says that as he had complete faith in Edmond.

To be more accurate, he feels like he owes his life to Edmond, if not for him, he would not be alive right now.

ʼDarbaudr, we believe you. There must be another demon general in the first batch of the demon army. I have a plan to find him,ʼ Edmond talked to Darbaudr through the voice transmission and said that he had a plan.

ʼLet me hear it,ʼ Darbaudr planned something just now; however, since Edmond had a plan to find the other demon general, he didnʼt rush and waited for Edmond to say his plan.

ʼItʼs simple. Since you heard his voice when you tried to kill the injured demon general, letʼs try it once more. When he shows himself, I and Udo will attack him,ʼ Edmond kept an eye on his adopted children and explained his plan to Darbaudr and Udo at the same time.

Udo was also keeping an eye on the young cultivators as there was another demon general in the demon army, he didnʼt want them to attack the young cultivators like before.

ʼLetʼs do this,ʼ

Darbaudr and Udo replied through the same voice transmission as they nodded their heads.

After saying that, Darbaudr didnʼt hesitate and immediately moved towards the demon general who had just heaved a sigh of relief as he was saved by his friend from the clutches of the barbarian.

”What? Save me,”

While heaving a sigh of relief, he noticed the barbarian once again rushed at him with the same cruel expression like the previous time and shouted out loud for the help from his friend.

”He canʼt save you this time,” Darbaudr cunningly smiled as he instantly appeared in front of the demon general.

ʼPunchʼ

The demon general completely didnʼt rely on his friend and used his uninjured hand to punch the incoming barbarian at his full power.

ʼSwooshʼ

However, his punch landed on an afterimage of the barbarian and his neck was once again clutched by the barbarian.

e out and save me, idiot,ʼ

”How is it? Feeling good?” Darbaudr slowly increased the force in his hand and made the demon general cry in pain.

The demon general cursed his friend to come out and save him from the barbarianʼs hands when he felt his neck was almost crushed by him.

”Hehe...leave him,”

Just when Darbaudr was about to crush the neck of the demon general completely, he heard the same voice from before near his ears.
