New Age Of Summoners

459 Old demon generalʼs plan

ʼEverything is according to the plan? What plan?ʼ His mind continuously thought about the words of the old general and wondered what was that plan.

Putting these thoughts aside, what made him anxious was that the two elite demon general they had sent to the human world was killed within a few moments after they just passed through the portal.

”What do you know about planning, fool? Let me ask you a couple of questions before I say about my plan,” The Old General looked at the muscular demon general with a scoff and started asking some questions.

The muscular demon nodded his head as he knew that he was not very good at thinking and thatʼs why he took the position of the attacking and left the planning to the old demon general.

”Do you know why we send only demon servants of commander realm and elite commander realm in the first and second batches respectively?” The old demon general started asking his questions.

”It is because we canʼt send our high-level troops before the portal is completely stabilized,” The muscular demon general replied with a proud expression on his face thinking that his level of thinking was not that bad.

ʼPaʼ

”Donʼt give me that smug look, fool. Although what you said is correct, there is another important thing behind that reason,” The old demon general smacked the head of the muscular demon before saying, ”It is to tire our enemies. They will be exhausted before our main troops enter the portal. Then we can easily kill those tired humans without much difficulty.”

”Excellent idea,” The muscular demon praised the ideas of his demons which were coming from the ancient times.

”The second question, do you know why all of the demon servants are wearing the same type of armour despite there are many types of armours in our armoury?” Without any delay, the old general asked another question.

”...”

To which the muscular demon general scratched the back of his head as though he was indirectly saying that he does not know about it.

”I know that you donʼt know about it. Thatʼs why I have?ʼGeneralʼ position in the army whereas you only have a ʼCommanderʼ position,” the old demon general shook his head and differentiated himself from the muscular demon general and continued, ”One a demon servant, who is wearing that black armour dies, the black blood in that demon servant will be absorbed by the armour and then the armour is disintegrated before releasing a pure demonic essence that could give our army the continuous supply of the essence of nature.”

”What?” The muscular demon was shocked to hear the detailed reason of why they only use the black armour which was not as much sturdier as the other armours in the armoury.

”So, from now on at least try to observe your surroundings before you fight. It is not like our previous invasions,” the old general warned the muscular demon not to be reckless in this invasion.

”Okay, general,” The muscular demon general nodded his head before asking, ”Can you say about the plan now?”

Although the muscular demon general looked calm on the surface, he was still anxious about the death of two elite demon generals, who died within a few minutes after entering the human world.

For demons, the death of their sub-ordinates didnʼt bother much because they know that the elite demon generals that were leading the demon army of the first two batches would die sooner or later; however, they died just after they left the portal which made the muscular demon genera think that there must be some powerful human cultivator just outside the portal.

”Do you know that one of the two elite demon generals we sent is a mutant demon general?” The old man chuckled as he slowly started explaining, ”I assume, you know that but what you donʼt know is that he has mastered a technique that whenever he is injured critically, his strength increases by many folds.”

”Moreover, once he enters into that state, he has to be killed only by separating his head from his body. Even that has to be done without him knowing who the attacker is. Now say, is it possible to kill him that soon?” The old demon general mysteriously smiled as he looked at the shocked expression on the muscular demon generalʼs face.

”When did he join my unit without me noticing him,”

Suppressing his shock, the muscular demon general asked with a serious expression on his face.

”I recruited him from one of the unknown regions in the demon world. Now, just wait until he kills the humans that are obstructing our demon army to be killed by him...hehe,” the old demon general eerily smiled that made the muscular demon shiver.

Although the muscular demon was called as general by most of his sub-ordinates, he still wasnʼt promoted to the ʼGeneralʼ position in the army. So, when compared to the old demon general, this muscular demon still couldnʼt stand a chance against the old demon general.

”By the way, when can I use the space stabilizing crystal?” He didnʼt bother to think much about the old demon generalʼs plans and asked about the space stabilizing crystal.

”Since we have sent double the army before the portal was stabilized, the portal will start shaking when we send the next batch of our demon army. Then, at that exact moment, use it. Remember, I donʼt want any mishaps to happen with this invasion,” The old demon briefly explained when to use the space stabilizing crystal to the muscular demon before going back to his meditation.

The muscular demon nodded his head before leaving from there.

ʼJust you wait, old monster, I will show you what I can do to you with my little brain,ʼ After leaving the old demon generalʼs place, the muscular demon irritatedly cursed him inside his heart and thought to take revenge as soon as possible.

Although he didnʼt say anything in front of that old demon general, the muscular demon hated him to the core and he was just waiting for a chance to take revenge for mocking him and calling fool.

...…

In the cursed wilderness,

An elite demon general relaxed while resting his back against a large tree with his eyes closed.

”Damn it. Why did that legendary mercenary king appear just when I was about to kill that Demon killer,” That elite demon general cursed as his thoughts went back to what happened earlier.

The elite demon general was none other than the demon, who had escaped from the guild master and missed the golden chance to kill the demon killer.

ʼWhatever, I will find that demon killer and kill him with my own hands,ʼ

Nevertheless, he suppressed his emotions and swore to kill the demon killer one day.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼHuh?ʼ
