Death… And Me

Chapter 3537: The Cultivation Continues

The region they were cultivating turned out to be not only good for Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis. It was also very useful for both Rifindio and Zangeshu. Just a few hundreds of thousands of kilometers away, there was a city called Tinkan, and it was quite big.

Zangeshu and Rifindio, using their new identities, were able to enter that city while the twins’ group cultivated. There, they could take missions, interact with other experts, and ultimately increase their own power and knowledge. When they needed to cultivate, they could go back to the Dimensional Realm and do it there. After all, the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm was capable of gathering a little bit of Divine Energy over a huge area, making the Divine Energy inside always three or four times more concentrated than the outside world.

There were also the countless Divine Stones lying around in the Dimensional Realm that Rean and Zangeshu earned over the years. The Rank Seven Divine Stones were used by the twins’ group only. Zangeshu and Rifindio could only use those of Rank Six and below.

That wasn’t an issue. The twins’ group needed a lot more Divine Origin Energy than Rifindio and Zangeshu for their breakthroughs, and Rank Seven Divine Stones had Divine Origin Energy in it. Rank six and below only had normal Divine Energy. Rifindio and Zangeshu had to do the conversion into Divine Origin Energy, but their lower requirements for energy made their cultivation still slightly faster than the twins.

Training, cultivating, and learning. This continued for the next five years until...

*Boom!*

A blast of Divine Energy spread around the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm. The power of space concentrated, gathering in a single point as a demon core changed. Following that, the Divine Energy of many Divine Stones began to rush into that core, and the cultivation rose sharply. Finally, a few minutes later, the transformation ended.

Rifindio opened his eyes, taking a slow breath. He seemed calm, but if you looked into his eyes, you would see the excitement hidden in them. ”Elemental Space Realm... To think I would reach this level so fast...”

Rifindio couldn’t help but think about the other Camazotz Bats of his generation back in the Supreme Palace. Pretty much all of them had a much higher concentration of Bloodline, and they all looked down on him. Of course, there was an exception here and there. It wasn’t like every single Camazotz Bat had to treat him badly, but those ones were rare.

”If they saw me know, just how shocked would they be?” Rifindio wondered. He was absolutely sure of one thing. There was probably no more than a few Camazotz Bats at the same age as him to have reached the Elemental Space Realm. That would put him as one of the top talents in the Supreme Palace, maybe even in the top one hundred. And yet, his Camazotz Bloodline was pretty much nonexistent compared to them. No, his bloodline concentration had actually increased a lot, probably not too far from the top Camaztoz Bats of his generation... It’s just that you couldn’t really think of it as a Camazotz Bloodline anymore. It was more of a mutated bloodline due to his constant infusion of Kentucky’s Celestial Bloodline, previously a Regal Bloodline.

Zangeshu noticed that breakthrough and came to Rifindio’s area to take a look. ”Elemental Space Realm, uh?”

Rifindio smiled at him. ”And yet, you have already reached the Peak Stage of the Space Bending Realm. I’m actually falling behind, you know?”

”There are a few differences between us,” Zangeshu commented, serious as ever. ”First, all I have is a normal cultivation path. I have no need to worry about bloodlines and such. Master’s cultivation technique definitely made me stronger, but I would be no match to you at the same level, even if I add my Starlight Body Cultivation Technique. Let’s not forget I hate fighting, and I only do so because it is necessary for my development.”

Rifindio was aware of that. Every second Zangeshu could spend not cultivating, training, or fighting, he would be tinkering with his formations, forgings, and talismans.

”Besides,” Zangeshu continued. ”When we stopped in this place to cultivate, I was just a step away from the Late Stage of the Space-Bending Realm. You could say I had already completed the 98% or 99% of the job in the Middle Stage. I got to the Late stage in the next two months, so you could also say I only gained a single stage so far if you don’t consider the first breakthrough. It will take another seven to nine years to even think about entering the Elemental Space Realm.”

Rifindio laughed in response. ”Hahaha! Here we are, talking about a few years as if that was a huge amount of time. You know, only the top talents in the Supreme Palace and a few other organizations in this Universe have young, talented experts having breakthroughs as fast as us, let alone those faster than us. And I have to say, I think our environment might be even better.”

Zangeshu nodded, although you wouldn’t see a single smile from him. ”I’m aware. Taking hundreds of years or more for a single-stage breakthrough is the norm for common experts at our level. Not everyone can make so many Divine Stones as fast as we can, either.”

Zangeshu then turned around, preparing to leave.

”Where are you going?” Rifindio asked out of curiosity.

”I need to get used to the Peak Stage, so I joined a group of cultivators back in Tinkan to explore a bunch of ruins in a nearby continent,” Zangeshu explained. ”Rean... My master made it clear. My cultivation technique doesn’t take lightly on those who ignore its requirements. The backlash is huge, so I can’t stop.”

Rifindio nodded. ”Need me to tag along?”

Zangeshu shook his head, though. ”No. Stay here and consolidate your breakthrough. I’m used to acting on my own, remember? Also, I would hear no end of complaints from my Master if I got you along as some kind of protector.”

Rifindio knew he was right. ”True... Then see you later.”

Yet, just at that moment, another blast of Divine Energy... No, that was Sky Energy. A blast of Sky Energy spread around the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.

”Seems like they reached the Late Stage of the Space Bending Realm,” Zangeshu and Rifindio commented at the same time.
