Death… And Me

Chapter 3536: A Pause for Cultivation

”Alright, everyone,” Rean spoke in the Dimensional Realm. Elsie wasn’t there with them. ”I have already altered your Werdlem Stone Readings to match the new identities. If you still have any chips from the time we were in the Divine Snow Realm or the border continents, make sure to destroy them now.”

*Plac, plac, plac...*

They followed Rean’s words, and those chips were gone.

Sister Orb confirmed there wasn’t any remaining, which allowed Rean to continue. ”Okay. Kentucky and I will cross the border and enter the Fuluslav Continent. There, we will find the nearest city and teleport to the first city with Long-Distance Teleport Formations we can find. Although we are at the center of the Divine Realm, the trip to the Danalil Continent will still take a few months, and that’s taking teleport formations nonstop.”

Rifindio raised his hand. ”The identity we took here will be useful in this continent, but what about the next one? It might still look weird for experts of this continent to appear in the next.”

Rean shrugged. ”Simple, we always stop at some small settlement or city, find some trash that shouldn’t be living anymore, and get new identities. There is no risk of being caught since these kinds of evildoers die or disappear in the tens or hundreds of thousands every day. Don’t forget just how many experts exist on every continent. No one will pay attention to a few ants disappearing here and there except for the locals.”

”I see...” Rifindio nodded. ”Then I have nothing else to say.”

”I think we should stop and use the rest of our Starlight Stones first,” Celis suddenly commented. ”We are still in the Middle Stage of the Space-Bending Realm. Initially, the idea was to go to the Underworld and try to find where the Light Element accumulated. In the end, we found out that the Underworld of this Universe is different from ours. That said, there is no need to save the Starlight Stones anymore. Let’s just get as far as possible with our cultivations, then we move forward.”

Roan had to agree with Celis on that point. ”A few of the risks we took would have been safer if we had cultivated ahead of time. He is right. The Underworld idea is gone, so let’s not waste time looking for some ideal cultivation ground.”

Rean pondered a bit and accepted the idea as well. ”Okay, but first, we need to leave this continent. We caught too much attention already, even though it is unlikely the top guys can relate the different events to us. I’ll feel safer if we aren’t in the continent where we were initially tracked with the communication devices.”

No one had any complaints... except for Kentucky, obviously. The guy hated cultivating. Too bad he was ignored and forced to go with the plan. Well, just like Elsie, he was also free to leave if he wanted, which he obviously didn’t.

Following that strategy, Rean and Kentucky flew to the borders and got to the Fuluslav Continent after a month. They could have been faster, but there was no need to hurry now.

There, in Fuluslav, they looked for a good place where the concentration of Divine Energy was better, and the elements in the surroundings were fairly balanced. Finally, after building a proper Concealing Formation, the two of them entered the Dimensional Realm.

”What?! You are entering seclusion?” Elsie just received the news. She had been putting her all into guiding the Rean, Roan, and Zangeshu about the Sixth Stage of Weapon Intent. But if they entered seclusion to cultivate, she would probably have to stay put there for many years without being able to go out.

”Correct,” Roan nodded. ”We are still too weak, as you mentioned many times. So, you can just sit around and cultivate as well if you want. We shouldn’t be back for the next twenty years at the very least.”

That wasn’t a joke. They decided to use every single Starlight Stone remaining, and according to Celis, he would take that long to absorb them all. Celis was also selected to be the only one in their group to absorb the Starlight Stones. After all, he would be the best choice if they wanted to waste as little Starlight Energy as possible. Rean, Roan, and Kentucky would focus on absorbing Divine Origin Energy alone. Thanks to their shared cultivation, they just needed to mix the Starlight Energy, Divine Origin Energy, and their Soul Power, creating Sky Energy for their cultivation.

”Twenty years? What could you even achieve in twenty years? You should focus on learning the Sixth Stage of Weapon Intent, idiot!” Elsie complained. ”It will already be great if you just go from the Middle Stage of the Space-Bending Realm to the Late Stage. Your strength won’t change much there. However, if you manage to comprehend even a little bit of the Sixth Stage of Weapon Intent, it will add a lot more to your strength than this little bit of cultivation time of yours.”

Roan was aware of that. He believed he had given up his Scythe without a problem, but it turned out to be more difficult than simply not using it anymore or throwing it away. It all came down to the very subconscious of the expert. Even though he didn’t want to, when he tried to materialize his Scythe Intent, the feeling of holding his White Star Scythe was always there. Rean, obviously, wasn’t any different. Neither of them progressed at all. As for Zangeshu, he hasn’t learned the Fourth Stage yet, so other than memorizing everything he saw, he couldn’t attempt to reach the Sixth Stage anyway.

”It has already been decided. Besides, it is not a bad thing for you. If you aren’t found during the next twenty years, the dust will settle, and it will be easier for you to appear outside once the tracker is removed,” Roan explained. There was one thing Elsie wasn’t aware of, the twins’ group cultivation speed was simply ridiculous! A single stage? No! Two Stages was definitely possible, even three! With Celis and the Starlight Stones, they could reach the Elemental Space Realm again!
