The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 806: Chapter 806: Trust You (1)

Upon hearing these words, Xun Hui became a bit agitated, but before she could open her mouth, Erni suddenly slapped her purse down onto the table, ”Yang Ruyu, are you trying to slander my eldest sister?”

”I...” Yang Ruyu immediately looked at Xun Hui with a wronged expression, ”I...”

”Despite all that’s happened, my eldest sister still brought you to the county town to see the world, without holding any grudges against you. Instead of defending her, you are actually ruining her reputation everywhere. What are you thinking?” Erni didn’t wait for her to respond and continued, ”Do you actually wish for my eldest sister to have a bad reputation? Let me tell you, if any bad rumors about my eldest sister spread, I...we will come to you to settle the score...”

In the past, Erni had always felt inferior in front of Yang Ruyu. Whenever she saw her eldest sister or Sanni confront her, she was quite envious, thinking she could never do the same.

But in this moment, without her eldest sister or Sanni present, she felt that if she didn’t defend her eldest sister, she wouldn’t be human. She was sure that if Brother Er knew, he would be disappointed in her.

Before Brother Er left, he had said that he liked her confident self and hoped that she wouldn’t shrink away from challenges. Now, by not backing down, was she being confident enough?

Her eldest sister had said that confidence means fearing no one, and although she used to feel ashamed in front of Yang Ruyu, now... she suddenly discovered that speaking her mind actually felt really good.

They say girls are extroverted, and Erni is the perfect example of extroversion.

Yang Ruyu, rendered speechless by the confrontation, felt even more wronged. Her eyes reddened, and tears began to fall, ”Xuexue, how can you speak to me like this? If I wanted to ruin our eldest sister’s reputation, I wouldn’t have come here to talk about it. I’m just afraid of what would happen if someone else saw us. I truly mean no harm...”

”Xuexue,” Xun Hui felt that Erni was being too intense, ”Perhaps Yuyu really had good intentions...”

Although Erni’s disposition had changed, her eloquence couldn’t improve overnight. Having said so much in one breath was already her limit, and now she was a bit at a loss for words.

Yang Ruyu felt utterly dejected inside. She had come to find Xun Hui while Sanni was not around, but she had not expected Erni to become so...

Indeed, not a single person from the main family was decent.

”Auntie, I am going back now,” Yang Ruyu sniffled, then turned and walked towards the door.

Xun Hui wanted to stop Yang Ruyu but was held back by Erni’s hand.

Only after Yang Ruyu had left did Xun Hui look reproachfully at Erni, ”Why have you become so harsh as well? She was just trying to do what’s best for your eldest sister...” Remembering this, she suddenly walked towards the door. No, she had to check on her eldest daughter’s room.

Seeing Xun Hui knocking, Yang Ruxin was not surprised at all, instead she smiled, ”Has my lovely cousin come over to gossip again?”

Xun Hui felt a bit awkward, ”Well, Xinxin, you...”

”Do you believe her or do you believe me?” Yang Ruxin looked indifferently at Xun Hui.

”I...” Xun Hui didn’t expect Yang Ruxin to ask her this question and found herself at a loss for words. After a pause, she forced a smile, ”Of course, I believe you.”

”Very good,” Yang Ruxin nodded, then stood up and walked outside.

Xun Hui, not understanding what was happening, hurriedly followed.

Yang Ruxin immediately kicked open the door to the room where Yang Ruyu and Sanni lived together.

Yang Ruyu shuddered in fright and turned around to look at Yang Ruxin in horror, ”El...Eldest cousin...”
