The Feng Shui Treasure Appraiser

176: Chapter 176 is a coward.Hearing Liu Jian’s arrogant voice, Han Jingyang chuckled and said to Xu Xin, who was looking quite grim beside him, ”Old Xu, I have something to tell you, keep it in mind.”

Xu Xin nodded hurriedly, ”Go ahead.”

”Stay away from this family,” Han Jingyang said seriously. ”No matter how close your relationship with them was in the past, from now on, stay away from this family.”

”Brother, are, are you planning to take revenge on them?”

”Me? Heh, it won’t even be my turn to act.”

”What do you mean?”

”When virtue does not match one’s position, disaster is inevitable. This family has enjoyed so much for so many years; it is time for them to pay their debts.”

Xu Xin’s expression grew tense, ”Will, will it be very serious?”

Han Jingyang recalled the scene he had seen at Liu Qing’s house and nodded slightly, ”Very serious. Not only will they be unlucky themselves, but anyone close to them will also be unlucky. Put it this way: their house is currently hiding a super-duper massive jinx that could explode at any moment. The moment it explodes, whoever gets caught in it will be unlucky—the kind of bad luck that spills blood and implicates their family.”

Xu Xin’s expression shifted, and after a moment, he sighed, ”I’ve known Liu Qing for over ten years. He once did me a small favor, and of course, I’ve helped him too. Although neither of us owes the other anything, I still can’t bear to…”

Han Jingyang interrupted Xu Xin, ”Old Xu, I’m just telling you. As for what you choose, that’s your business. If you really intend to warn him, that’s his good fortune, and even more so the good fortune of Wang Zhiwei and me, because it means we know a friend as loyal and righteous as you.”

Wang Zhiwei nodded in agreement, ”That’s what I think too.”

Xu Xin was very grateful, ”Thank you, thank you, little brother.”

Han Jingyang continued, ”But I must also warn you, this is no child’s play. If you want to get involved, you must be prepared to invite trouble.”

Xu Xin nodded heavily, ”I know. But I still need to trouble you two with Xiao Yun…”

Wang Zhiwei sneered, ”Old Xu, say less of that. Besides, I don’t think there’s any need for you to risk your life. You’ve done your duty by warning that guy; are you really planning to risk your life? That’s not how you make friends; it’s supposed to be mutual. Look at what that Liu guy did. Is this how a friend acts? This isn’t just a slap in the face to our little brother, but to you as well. He didn’t take you, the middleman, seriously at all. If I were you, I’d cut ties with him on the spot.”

Xu Xin sighed.

Wang Zhiwei was even more furious, ”Damn it, for a mere 500,000, he tore off the face of an old friend he’s known for over ten years and trampled it into the ground. If you were in a real life-or-death situation, would he help you?”

Han Jingyang patted Wang Zhiwei on the shoulder, ”Say less. Old Xu is feeling bad too, but he is just that kind of person. Nothing you say will change his mind. If you really care, just help look after Jingyun as he asked.”

Xu Xin nodded.

Wang Zhiwei then said sullenly, ”I just feel it’s not worth it for Old Xu. He chose his friends poorly.”

Having said that, he chuckled, ”Speaking of looking after Xiao Yun, you’re more suitable, little brother. You young people have common topics, especially since you have two girls around you who both practice martial arts. They will surely get along well with Xiao Yun.”

Get along well?

Han Jingyang thought of the subtle rivalry between Liu Jing and Shi Xiaoya, and his brow twitched.

Being fought over, while enjoyable, could also be a headache at times. He was afraid these two young women wouldn’t know how to control themselves and would cause an irreparable tragedy.

Hmm, it shouldn’t come to that. Shi Xiaoya has a sense of proportion, and Liu Jing isn’t that kind of person either.

Returning to the city, the three groups split up and headed to their respective homes; the main reason was that today’s events were truly a downer.

Han Jingyang and Liu Jing returned to Jiguang Zhai.

On the way, Liu Jing raised an eyebrow, ”Boss, is the Liu family really going to have bad luck?”

”Yes, they definitely will, very soon.”

”Then you… intend to sit back and watch them finish?”

”Sit back and watch?” Han Jingyang sneered. ”Them having bad luck is their business; me taking revenge is my business. Whether they have bad luck or not, I will take revenge. Pack your gear; we’ll act tonight.”

Liu Jing was stunned for a moment, then overjoyed, ”A big scene?”

”A big scene,” Han Jingyang nodded heavily. ”Tonight, I’ll let you witness what Dragon Slaying is!”

”Dragon Slaying!” Hearing this term, Liu Jing couldn’t help but tremble.

She wasn’t a violence junkie, but she absolutely didn’t want to be a punching bag who could only hold it in when bullied.

She had originally thought that using someone else’s hand to vent her anger was a very cowardly thing. She hadn’t expected Han Jingyang not only to take revenge without delay but also to perform Dragon Slaying!

Dragon Slaying! Since ancient times, how many people have been able to slay a dragon? And how many have succeeded?

Although she didn’t know how large the dragon vein Han Jingyang was going to slay was, as long as it was a proper dragon vein, it was enough to make one excited!

Liu Jing suppressed the trembling in her heart and nodded heavily.

…Xiaohe Village.

In Liu Qing’s villa.

The three Liu brothers gathered in one room, their expressions serious.

Liu Qing stared at Liu Jian and said, ”Boss, that Han Jingyang is definitely not an ordinary person. You were a bit reckless today; you should have just politely seen him off. Why offend him?”

Liu Jian snorted, ”It’s precisely because he has ability that I have to act this way. Things have reached this stage, and we absolutely cannot afford any mistakes. If we appear too polite, he will definitely be suspicious. It’s better to do the opposite: pretend to be stupid and greedy to divert his attention. As for offending him, so be it. Could he really wipe out our family over this 500,000? Besides, as long as this matter succeeds, what does a mere Han Jingyang amount to?”

Liu Qing sighed, ”You also know this is a critical moment. What if he really wants to take revenge on us? He is also a Feng Shui Master. If he strikes in this area and ruins our plan, wouldn’t that be even worse?”

”He won’t. I’ve already arranged for people to keep watch. From today on, until the plan succeeds, someone will be guarding there every night, and they will call me immediately if they discover anything.”

”Can they guard it?”

”Two people per group, six groups in total. They change shifts every four hours and all carry walkie-talkies and alarms. As soon as one is pressed, the alarm will emit a siren of about 100 decibels and will also send an alarm signal to my receiver here.”

”That’s good. Whether our Liu family can prosper for a long time depends on this one gamble.”

The three brothers nodded heavily.

But the second eldest, Liu Xin, still frowned and said, ”I always feel that Han Jingyang is a threat. He was able to accurately find that location just by walking around, without being off by a single bit. It’s truly a bit scary.”

Liu Jian was confident, ”I know. So, third brother, call that friend of yours and ask him to pass on a message. Say we’ve realized our mistake and want to apologize. Give him the 500,000 to return to Han Jingyang, and pin the blame on me. This will dispel Han Jingyang’s anger, buy us time, and eliminate his suspicions. It’s foolproof.”

”This is a good method.”

”Right, this call cannot be made too early or too late. Let’s do it tomorrow morning. If that doesn’t work, you can go personally. Doesn’t that Han Jingyang have a shop at Yingxiong Mountain? Go directly to his door. No one hits a smiling face; young people are thin-skinned and too easy to deal with. Hehehe, if he had flipped out on the spot today, I would have thought more highly of him. Now, looking at it, he’s just a wimp, famous for nothing.”
