Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 747: Main World Game Code: “Calamity Witch”

A new day.

“The progress on Yi Rui’s side is also advancing step by step every day.”

Sensing the information synchronized from the clones constantly recording in the laboratory, I sometimes find that... actually, it is not always better to know everything.

For example, in this case... life would lack a sense of expectation.

However, aside from these, many things are usually quite convenient.

Coming back to the point, what Yi Rui said before was right; if it was only a guess earlier, it is now a fact that my progress is faster than theirs.

That is why I am paying attention to their process at this time.

I have many clones, and I receive a lot of information every day, including information obtained from the perspective of mutated beasts in the Expansion Realm.

Fortunately, the Great Seed of Knowledge handles the sorting and sharing of the burden; otherwise, I would spend all my energy every day just processing this information.

Because of this annoyance, a curious thought has sprouted in my mind... that the Great Tree of Knowledge seems to need another refinement.

Perhaps calling it a refinement is not quite accurate.

To me, the Great Tree of Knowledge has always been perfect, but every time I make it grow an extra floor.

But looking from the perspective of a higher level, I am indeed constantly refining it.

My past self probably didn’t expect that the already perfect Great Tree of Knowledge would reach a point where it needs to be elevated again for my current self.

Sure enough, a person’s needs are constantly rising.

Having ideas about the Great Tree of Knowledge is primarily because of a demand; because the Great Tree of Knowledge has deficiencies, I have the thought of continuing to refine it.

Pity... right now it is just an idea, and there is no concrete plan, but I have already recorded this thought in my memo.

I have more important things to do, so I will temporarily set it aside.

Over at the laboratory, I have already used a clone to temporarily inform Yi Rui and the others about my current progress, and I have expressed my current needs to them.

I just need to wait until they have finished discussing, then bring some people over to the Physical Arts Training Hall to conduct the next step of the experiment.

Currently, the derivation of the Witch-transformation Reconstruction Metamorphic Spell spellbook by Yi Rui’s team has advanced to the point where the body’s adaptation resonance has reached 101, officially breaking into three digits.

This is no small amount.

Before this, they conducted tests on the failure boundaries for a long time, consuming a lot of time.

Their progress from a single Magic Power Source to the current three-digit Magic Power Sources is already considered quite fast.

Moreover, they are now using a tenfold incremental self-created resonance method, which has replaced the original basic connection method.

Although compared to my initial theory of “ten thousand,” the quantity of one hundred is just a start, looking at it with a tenfold base, their progress is already halfway there.

Next, they will advance smoothly until they reach the threshold of one thousand, and the next step is ten thousand as the cap.

After all, ten thousand is only a theoretical limit.

As of now, one hundred Magic Power Sources can also barely be used for experiments on the prototype of Self-generating Magic Power.

As for exactly how many Magic Power Sources are needed as nodes to complete the architecture, I am not sure; after all, even I cannot derive the answer out of thin air without the support of experimental data.

I hope this number is below ten thousand; otherwise, I will face another problem, which is the upper limit bearing capacity of the Earth Vein Chains.

Regardless of whether Yi Rui’s team uses the Witch-transformation Reconstruction Metamorphic Spell to complete the magic power source’s connection with the body or the resonance method, its essence is using the Earth Vein Chains as a carrier to bear the Magic Power Source.

They do not have Self-generating Magic Power, so they cannot theoretically bear more Magic Power Sources.

And if the number of Magic Power Source nodes I need to construct the Self-generating Magic Power exceeds the theoretical ten thousand, it will be very troublesome.

But... it is not impossible to solve.

I have potential methods to solve it, but they are too troublesome.

And that method is to continue using ten thousand as the base to construct the prototype of the Self-generating Magic Power physical talent, but this architectural prototype would need another set of modifications according to the Self-generating Magic Power architecture I understand.

Its purpose is not to form the final “Self-generating Magic Power,” but to intervene more deeply in the essence of life, allowing the body to obtain the ability to bear Magic Power Sources in advance before the birth of magic power.

Until the lower limit of the number of nodes for constructing Self-generating Magic Power is reached, the construction of the complete Self-generating Magic Power physical talent will continue.

The current Witch-transformation Reconstruction Metamorphic Spell cannot yet allow the body to bear Magic Power Sources to that extent, so this can only rely on the prototype before the Self-generating Magic Power is formed to overdraw this ability in advance.

Of course, there are other ways, such as alchemical items, or something else; any method that can bear extra Magic Power Sources will work.

But these methods will undoubtedly be very troublesome.

I do not think these are problems that students can solve, so I will need to ask for help from more professional Transcendent Witch sisters.

The information has now more or less been communicated to Yi Rui’s team through the clones, and I just need to wait for their arrival here.

After all, what they are going to try next is the Magic Power Source Body Cultivation Method, which naturally cannot be performed in the laboratory.

The foundation of the Magic Power Source Body Cultivation Method relies on the physical metamorphosis completed by the Witch-transformation Reconstruction Metamorphic Spell to reach the threshold for practicing it.

Currently, the Magic Power Sources they have obtained that resonate with themselves are not in any special state.

Originally, these Magic Power Sources simply produced a connection with the body.

Later, through their own exploration, they created a brand-new and more complete plan, which is the tenfold incremental Magic Power Source resonance method.

So now the relationship between the Magic Power Sources and them has become resonance, but theoretically there is no difference, and it is actually easier to control.

I need to use the method of constructing Self-generating Magic Power to mold those Magic Power Sources that have already produced resonance into a special ritual structure, using this special method to conduct Body Cultivation, and then use the Body Cultivation system to influence the essence of life and construct Self-generating Magic Power.

And this is still just the “preparation stage” before practicing the Body Cultivation system.

And the physical arts that coordinate with this Magic Power Source Body Cultivation Method are the key to elevating it.

The birth of Self-generating Magic Power is a gradual process; what they need to do is go “from nothing to something.”

And with my current understanding of Self-awakened Body Cultivation and Self-generating Magic Power, they are constructing Self-generating Magic Power based on my ideas. Without the “foundation” of Self-awakened Body Cultivation, they do not have the ability to go “from something to perfection.”

Starting from when I had only a trace of magic power to now, where magic power is constantly surging and regenerating, all of it was continuously perfected instinctively on the basis of my Self-awakened Body Cultivation.

When I first discovered Self-generating Magic Power, it was an ability constructed upon Self-awakened Body Cultivation.

Only after it was thoroughly perfected did it become independent of Self-awakened Body Cultivation, and even interacted with Self-awakened Body Cultivation, thereby giving birth to the Totem.

For what I have and others do not, others need to pay more for that “void.”

I don’t mind helping them once more.

While waiting for Yi Rui and the others to arrive, I also intentionally paid attention to my group of clones.

Although I have been busy with my own affairs, the information obtained by the clones in the outside world is also part of my information channels.

It is an information anchor that helps me not to detach from society.

And within my massive group of clones, there is such a special existence.

That is the player whose game account I “seized.”

When this holiday first started, that clone had just barely finished adapting to that identity and was still exploring that world’s language, script, and other information to prepare for integration into the player community.

At the beginning, I was thinking of making more of these player clones, but later I gradually gave up because it was not necessary.

I didn’t truly seize the account, but rather took over a set of account usage permissions.

I cannot use this form of game clone to combat game players.

Not only is it unnecessary, but more importantly, the combat power of players at this level is not even as good as my own original clones hand-crafting spells.

Moreover, the permissions for the account are with the other party.

If the act of large-scale account seizure were discovered, it would cause unnecessary trouble.

Therefore, for that game player clone, my positioning is to obtain intelligence from that world.

Language, script, culture, game settings, transcendent power, and so on.

Although I promised Academy Head Mei not to touch the troubles of that game world, this kind of clone is very reliable for handling business and can run away at any time without any trouble.

Moreover... if Academy Head Mei told me not to meddle in the affairs of the game world, would I really stop?

Academy Head Mei’s meaning was that she didn’t want me to be in danger; the subtext is that as long as it is not dangerous, then anything goes.

Academy Head Mei helped me with many things throughout my journey.

Looking back, what Academy Head Mei told me was often not the whole truth, but the truth as understood from my perspective.

I understand this very well, just as if I met an ordinary person; if he were involved in some of my affairs, I wouldn’t be completely honest about everything either, but would change the perspective to narrate and guide him to work for me.

However, after my identity as a Lesser Witch was acknowledged, Academy Head Mei doesn’t seem to have done that anymore.

Regarding the game world, Academy Head Mei and the others naturally have their own considerations.

She also told me about the current dilemma, and I believe the true predicament is likely many times more troublesome than I envisioned.

What is connected with the game world is already a game at the transcendent level.

The reason why no obvious hostile actions have appeared in the Main World is because of the contract of the principle of non-interference by Transcendents.

But even so, if I accidentally entered the game, transcendent methods could also place me in a dangerous position.

Just like the final exam hunt last semester, the Transcendents had only a single thought, and so many students acted upon it.

They only moved their lips, and they could even clean themselves up completely afterward.

And the reason why they had a layer of skin peeled off was because they were facing unreasonable Transcendent Witches.

What if the Transcendent Witches and the Transcendent races of the Three Great Top-tier Academies were actually at a similar level?

Forget about fleecing a single world fragment; the compensation would most likely be a verbal apology, and I might not even necessarily hear it.

Therefore, Academy Head Mei told me not to meddle in the affairs of the game world mainly for the sake of my safety.

I still remember when I was refining the Great Tree of Knowledge, during that period, Transcendent mentors from other academies came to our Witch Academy for exchange. Afterward, Academy Head Bev Ailana stayed by my side just to guard me.

At that time, I heard Academy Head Bev say she was protecting me; if she hadn’t been there, those fellows from the Transcendent Academies might really have made a move.

I thought the Academy Head was joking, but looking back now, that might not have necessarily been the case.

Setting aside these interfering factors, that special clone of mine had already existed earlier, and I naturally intended to make full use of it.

Under the premise of ensuring my own safety, I am still passively receiving information and data from that game world.

For example, that clone of mine has already blended into the player community.

And I also know that the player community is not a single group; most are fighting for themselves, with at most small groups of a few people.

Of course, the main reason for this situation is that a large number of game players in the Main World have deleted their accounts, so many players can only fight for themselves.

The game level of the game account I occupied is not high, and I don’t dare to communicate with the people originally added as friends for fear of being discovered, but I still obtained some information.

For example... the players currently remaining in the Main World are basically insiders who are very clear that their actions are “invading worlds.”

But even as insiders, they are not clear about the threats their own world is facing; they only roughly know that this world seems to have taboos they cannot touch.

And I also explored the game title that game world has for our Main World.

At the beginning, the Main World was still in the initial discovery phase, with only a series of temporary code numbers.

Now, a formal game title has appeared.

Just like the world Qiu Ruxin was from was called the Star of Sin open-world game.

And the name of our world is... Calamity Witch.

For a moment, I was somewhat flattered, but after thinking about it, I felt... after they learn the truth, this so-called “Calamity Witch” probably doesn’t refer to that nickname I casually had back then, but to the Witch race itself.

They truly feel that Transcendent Witches are evil existences that bring them calamities.

And I also learned that their game world has different game types.

Open world is also the best kind of invasion method for an immersive experience.

They also have many other invasion models, and those invasion methods represent different game modes.

For example, the classic system-style guidance method with forced erasure punishment tasks; these are high-end games managed by professional game players behind the scenes.

Only worlds that have been completely conquered and have no subsequent worries will be opened as public games, relying on those ignorant game players to play in that world and squeeze the last trace of value from it.

But while called games, in essence, they are just another form of brick-moving.

Of course, even if it is brick-moving, could the work content be acting as a slave owner in another world?

But even if acting as a slave owner, it doesn’t change the essence of them being utilized and squeezed by the high-level figures of the game world.

After all, the games of the game world not only squeeze the worlds designed as games but also squeeze the energy and money of the players.

I felt somewhat sad for the people of the game world, yet they seem not to be worth my sorrow; after all, what about the worlds invaded and enslaved by them?

So... I should follow my initial thoughts regarding that world... total extermination.

There is no need to consider whether what they do is right or not, nor to think about how detestable the high-level figures of that world are, how pitiable the low-level people are, or how sad the worlds invaded by them are... none of these will be considered.

Return things to their essence, return to simplicity... everything is only because back then, in that small world, they disgusted me, so I must pull them out by the roots!

It’s just that simple.

Thinking about it this way... it is actually I who has become heartless.

No wonder the Witches’ reputation is so poor, but I don’t think the witch sisters would mind if I made the Witches’ reputation a bit worse.
