Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 724: Destiny Sorcery Tool, Fool’s Dream Clan, and Reverse Summoning Spell

”What is that thing?!”

When the people from the Wizard Academy pulled out that item, everyone felt a sense of heart palpitations.

It was a crystal ball, not very big, only about the size of a palm, and it appeared transparent, with something seemingly sealed inside.

Most of the students from the Witch Academy present were high-grade Seniors, but they were not necessarily the high-level members of large clubs like Wan Shi Wu.

Therefore, they did not immediately recognize Destiny.

The Spirit Vision they possessed could not help them see the threads of Destiny, and they were completely unaware of the concept of a ”Destiny Item”!

The moment the people from the Wizard Academy took this item out was sufficient to prove many things.

For example… there were individuals within the Wizard Academy, similar to the ”Destiny Alchemists” in the Witch Academy, who dabbled in Destiny.

And also… Transcendent Wizards from the Wizard Academy had intervened in this snatching operation!

”Do you think we would be so kind as to tell you?”

The Wizards laughed sinisterly, as if this was a huge mockery of them.

These people were all just those who didn’t know the truth.

They still didn’t understand why this ”scramble” was instigated in the first place.

Their convergence here was all due to the pushing of Destiny.

Once they took on this mission, they voluntarily stepped into the game orchestrated by Destiny, and when they brought out this Sorcery Tool that could manipulate Destiny’s augmentation, then they were the ones in control of everything!

The levels between the two, in their view, were different.

Everyone on the opposite side was a puppet of Destiny, while they were the active orchestrators who entered the game!

”By the way, is this thing really useful?”

At this moment, someone from the Wizard Academy quietly asked.

Not every Wizard knew about the Destiny Crystal Ball during this operation.

But the mission from the Transcendent Wizard had to be completed.

Because that Wizard intended to recover Destiny through this.

This Yang Yunhan had accumulated a vast amount of Destiny under the deliberate guidance of someone, especially his intrinsic connections, which influenced the direction of the world.

This guidance occurred after the college entrance examination, but even before that, he had already accumulated a large amount of Destiny, which led to him touching upon the Destiny distribution of the college entrance examination ritual, resulting in an exceptional performance.

The purpose of the college entrance examination is to select Transcendent talents.

Effort is not the only path.

Those who possess Destiny are like extremely lucky individuals; luck is also a part of strength.

The college entrance examination Destiny Ritual merely includes a person’s Destiny in the score consideration.

Even those without Destiny, if their learning ability is strong enough, can still rely on themselves to defy fate, if one considers merely joining a top-tier Transcendent Academy as defying fate…

So, the people from the Wizard Academy knew very well that Yang Yunhan’s score was definitely suspicious.

Although the college entrance examination acknowledged the hidden ”Destiny bonus,” this score would generally not be acknowledged by those who participated in the exam.

No one likes ”privilege” that is not aimed at themselves.

Moreover, they learned that even with the Destiny bonus, Yang Yunhan’s score was only in the low seven hundreds, which led to the previous mockery.

Genius… anyone who can enter a top-tier academy is a genius!

Therefore, the people from the Wizard Academy were even more convinced that if this Yang Yunhan were lured to the Wizard Academy, he would have only one outcome: his massive Destiny power would be stripped away by a Transcendent Wizard in the Wizard Tower and transformed into a Destiny Sorcery Tool!

Actually, a person augmented by Destiny had a second path in the Wizard Academy, which was to be favored and invested in.

For example, Ai En Gailand of the Wizard Academy.

That Child of Destiny was highly favored, so much so that even in the first academy exchange competition after his enrollment, he was kept hidden, and Lu Si’en was sent to the Witch Academy instead.

Lu Si’en was the Child of Destiny who was not favored, and he eventually became… Lucianne in the Witch Academy.

Even if he hadn’t been lured away by the Witch Academy, upon returning to the academy, the Seed of Destiny he held and all his Destiny would have been stripped away by a favored Transcendent Wizard in a Wizard Tower.

His fate was obvious.

Perhaps unintentionally, Lu Si’en’s Seed of Destiny allowed him to make the most correct choice at the Witch Academy, becoming Lucianne of the Witch Academy and escaping the tragic fate of becoming an experimental subject.

After only a brief period of contact, the people from the Wizard Academy believed that if this naive and foolish person, who lacked any common sense, truly came to the Wizard Academy, the best outcome would be for him to merely survive.

And yet, when he first encountered them, he was clamoring to join their Wizard Academy.

The Wizards almost burst out laughing then.

But now… the people from the Wizard Academy knew that they had to show some genuine skill!

Destiny is truly a magical thing.

If Earth Vein Energy represents ”carrying”—the Soul-substance of people within the world are all carried on the Earth Vein, born to die and die to be reborn, and this relationship is called the ”Earth Vein Chains.”

Then the power of Destiny probably represents ”driving” and ”augmentation.”

Everyone within the world is driven by Destiny, and those who are cherished and augmented by Destiny can acquire unimaginable power!

And this is referred to as the event node where dramatic turning points occur in the World Script.

The Destiny Sorcery Tool is a man-made ”event node.”

This is the product of the Wizards’ wisdom, leveraging the rules of the World Script for their own benefit.

So, after the Destiny Sorcery Tool was brought out, in the end… the augmentation of Destiny did not go to the Child of Destiny it favored, but to the holder of the Destiny Item.

But precisely because of its defiant effect, it had many usage restrictions.

For example, the Destiny Sorcery Tool could not generate Destiny out of thin air.

Its prerequisite for use had to be within the scope of a Destiny event.

The impact it generated must have a positive effect on the world.

If it didn’t, the holder would suffer a ”World Curse” backlash—similar to that after cutting the Earth Vein Chains—after the item left their possession.

Their luck would become extremely poor until the Destiny affected by this Destiny event stabilized.

And what exactly was the augmentation effect brought by this Destiny Sorcery Tool?

The most direct effect was the improvement of strength.

The power of Destiny could not directly participate in the concepts of ”attack power” or ”destructive power,” but its augmentation effect could ensure that the Transcendent power of the augmented person was exerted to the maximum!

Even their consciousness, combat reaction, luck probability, and so on would be augmented.

This kind of comprehensive augmentation power usually only appears on a Child of Destiny and only at critical nodes of major event turning points.

And this ”irresistible” power was jokingly referred to as the power of a ”Plot Kill.”

At least, those who had not broken the limit of the script could not defy this absolute correctness under the script’s rules.

Even those who barely broke through, if they hadn’t reached the boundary of the Transcendent level, would still experience extremely powerful suppression, as this was challenging the world!

This is where the power of Destiny is unreasonable.

People under its rules cannot defy the predetermined script.

Therefore, to break this ”predetermined,” one must acquire power outside the rules.

For example… the power systems of the various Transcendent Academies.

The power systems of the Transcendent Races are powers outside the rules of the Main World’s Destiny Script.

The more one cultivates this power, the more one can break free from the constraints of these rules.

Originally, this was the path intended to lead directly to cutting the Earth Vein Chains, and it was the original intention of the various Transcendent Academies to propagate the power systems of their respective Transcendent Races.

However, more and more people in the Witch Academy only focused on the Magic Power Source and the Spellbook itself, and did not focus on the development of the Witch power system, allowing the Magic Power Source to slowly drive the growth of their life level, which led to the gradual decrease in the number of Witches advancing to Transcendent each year, and more people being constrained by the Earth Vein Chains.

Of course, there were also problems with the teaching methods, which is why the Witch Academy sought reform.

It was not only the Witch Academy that was like this; other Transcendent Academies were the same, but the Witch Academy’s situation was simply more obvious.

”No need to say more. Since things have developed to this point, there is nothing left to discuss!”

The people from the Wizard Academy were the first to launch an attack.

Under the augmentation of the Destiny Crystal Ball, the unique golden radiance of Destiny resonated with every thread of Destiny connected to each person.

In just the first wave of engagement, the Witch Academy side felt a pressure completely different from before!

”Millian! Hurry and help! Their strength is not right!”

”Haha! Do you realize your own weakness now! We were just playing with you earlier, and you took it seriously? Now this is our true strength!”

The collective of the Wizard Academy was augmented by Destiny.

This smooth feeling of ”when luck comes, heaven and earth support the same side” and the omnipresent good luck were reflected in every aspect of their Sorcery casting.

At this moment, they were like players with buffs activated; they only needed to feel great.

Everything in the battle relied on Destiny, because Destiny would prompt them to make choices that were more correct than their subjective consciousness!

Even with Millian joining the battle, the situation did not improve.

”Yes! Come on… come on! The more people, the better!”

After Millian joined, the Wizards felt their power climb to another level.

Millian and her group also represented a push of Destiny in this swirling vortex of Destiny.

Therefore, her joining still could not destroy the balance of Destiny.

Millian herself was not a type particularly adept at combat.

Even holding the Book in the Casket at this moment, she could only gain a slight advantage.

She could not truly use the Book in the Casket, but she could still use this book superficially, for example, when shattering the three-layer protection earlier, the Book in the Casket erupted with internal Knowledge Power and Annotation Technique that she could not understand.

Although she couldn’t understand it, just knowing how to use it was enough.

And just as the battle between the Witch Academy and the Wizard Academy was at its peak, a figure was already frightened by the terrifying aftermath of the battle and had to quickly leave this place!

No matter what, this was a very dangerous place…

”Damn it, that guy is trying to run!”

But how could Yang Yunhan’s attempt to slip away escape the notice of the Transcendent students?

So, the moment he tried to run, both sides noticed him instantly.

The originally one-sided situation also instantly eased.

”Damn it! Why can’t we completely crush you even with Destiny augmentation!”

The Wizard roared angrily.

Looking at Millian in front of him and the annoying Book in the Casket, he unleashed a burst of power, throwing Millian backward.

Faced with Yang Yunhan’s escape, they originally planned to suppress the Witch Academy and then chase him back, but the reality was that they were suppressed, but not thoroughly enough.

If they waited until they completely defeated everyone from the Witch Academy, Yang Yunhan might have already run off to God knows where.

Although they had Sorcery Tools for tracking and Yang Yunhan couldn’t run very far, they were afraid that the idiot would be picked up and taken away by another Transcendent Academy along the way!

”Destiny?”

Millian was also shocked.

She was then thrown back by the Wizard’s burst of aura, but that was all; she didn’t suffer any severe injuries because of it.

At this moment, everyone from the Witch Academy also reacted.

After all, they were aware of concepts like Destiny.

They were just somewhat shocked that the people from the Wizard Academy could actually augment themselves with Destiny.

No wonder they felt that the strength of those guys from the Wizard Academy was somewhat bizarre.

It was no different from their previous battles, but it was always extremely frustrating to fight!

”What should we do?”

”Stop them! We can’t let them run away with Yang Yunhan just like that!”

These two simple sentences instantly established a goal to pursue, and the collective of Witches all stepped forward.

However, this still couldn’t overcome the rapid reaction speed of the Wizard Academy.

At this moment, they were still chasing the fleeing Yang Yunhan.

But it was unrealistic for them to just run away.

The speed of the Wizard’s Flying Sorcery Tools was no match for the Witch Academy’s brooms.

If they tried to run hard, they would definitely be overtaken.

And as the team leader of the Wizard Academy, he knew that the Witches on the opposite side were all vulnerable under their Destiny augmentation.

But there was one exception.

That was Millian, who was holding the Book in the Casket.

Because when fighting Millian, the augmentation brought by Destiny did not feel as ”smooth” as when fighting others.

So, if they wanted to leave, getting rid of Millian was a necessary step.

”Millian, you seemed to have said earlier that you were not here to take Yang Yunhan back to the Witch Academy!”

”But I also came here for Yang Yunhan, though… I might not necessarily take him away.”

Millian said.

Since the opponent was willing to communicate with them, Millian naturally wouldn’t charge in recklessly.

After all, in terms of strength, it had just been proven that they couldn’t suppress the Wizards augmented by Destiny!

”Then what did you come here for, if not for Yang Yunhan?”

”Naturally, for a promise. Yang Yuehan once said with her own mouth that she would come to see her brother when the scores were released.”

”That Yang Yuehan is dead! Are you insisting on opposing our Wizard Academy for such a trivial matter!”

”You are the ones opposing me! Your Wizard Academy was also involved in the plot to kill Yang Yuehan, right!”

Millian said.

If it weren’t for these people targeting Big Sis Xiao Han, she wouldn’t have to run around like this.

”Stop making things up. Those were personal actions; what does that have to do with our Wizard Academy!”

”It has a lot to do with it. Do you really think Big Sis Xiao Han was killed by you so easily?”

”You! What do you mean!”

Hearing Millian say this, the opponent’s heart subconsciously skipped a beat.

That Yang Yuehan… wasn’t dead?!

Even if they firmly believed that the fact of her death wouldn’t change, the human instinct to fear a ”what if” wouldn’t change.

”What I mean is…”

Millian raised the Book in the Casket in her hand.

At this moment, she could already feel the power of the Book in the Casket erupting.

This was not her controlling it.

If it wasn’t her controlling it, then who could it be?

Of course, it was its master!

”I am waiting for someone, and what are you doing!”

As soon as Millian finished speaking, a small figure leaped out of the Casket!

And this figure was Fool’s Blue, who had been modeled into a Mimetic Soul!

”Fool’s Dream Clan?!”

This sudden, unexpected development surprised even Millian.

Why was it a Fool’s Dream Clan member?

Where was Xiao Han?!

But at this moment, Fool’s Blue, who had no physical body and was only a Mimetic Soul, stood on the Book in the Casket, as if she had just remembered something.

”Oh! Big Sis Xiao Han’s conjecture succeeded? Then the next thing is this…”

Accompanied by Fool’s Blue’s self-muttering, the next moment, the Reverse Summoning Spell ritual inscribed on Fool’s Blue’s Mimetic Soul instantly unfolded.
