The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

The Vice President Wang was satisfied with the meal and came back again.

In time for the Little New Year, he specially invited his family to Shangshi Private Kitchen for a good reunion.

Since it was a family reunion, everything had to be well organized.

Yesterday, the live-cooked carp dish had been an eye-opener for him, and today, he intended to let his family see it as well.

Liu Yunong personally went to the front hall to entertain, seeing that Director Wang had come in person, she quickly greeted him with enthusiasm.

She sent dishes, served wine, and dedicated special service, pouring out a stream of pleasantries as if they cost nothing.

Liu Yunong was skilled in socializing and charming others, and if she wanted to please someone, hardly anyone could resist her.

Being eloquent was one thing, but most importantly, her looks were beautiful, and she had a particularly good figure. Even in a chef’s outfit, her appearance and demeanor exuded a unique appeal.

With just a few words, she made the Wang Family laugh heartily. Having achieved her goal, Liu Yunong gracefully retreated to the back kitchen to prepare the banquet.

...

Compared to others in the back kitchen who were anxious.

Liu Yunong stood at the kitchen counter, noticing the worried expressions around her, and couldn’t help but chuckle.

Today is the time for you all to be amazed!

Last night, Liu Yunong barely got any sleep.

On the way home, she carefully documented in a computer file all the suggestions Fu Yu had given her, along with some of her own insights into cooking.

Even when she lay down on her bed that night, she kept contemplating and reflecting.

Unconsciously, she developed a different understanding and insight into this dish.

Today at the store, while others were busy preparing ingredients, she took the initiative to handle the slaughter and cleaning of all the live fish.

From morning till afternoon, she handled more than twenty live fish.

With Liu Yunong’s current culinary skills and technique, after a little practice and understanding, her grasp of the position of the live fish’s heart membrane had become very skilled and precise.

Originally, this step wasn’t too complicated, it was all about practice making perfect.

Liu Yunong was inherently adept at disassembly and had a lot of experience in this area. Now, with full concentration on her research, even though the time was short, her skill level significantly improved.

After successfully wrapping the heart membrane of two live fish consecutively, Liu Yunong finally relaxed her previously tense nerves.

She originally planned to find an opportunity to cook this dish again in a few days to test her skills.

Unexpectedly, the opportunity presented itself.

Wang Yulong asked worriedly, ”Boss, what should we do about this dish?”

In his opinion, it would be better to call Fu Yu over to assist with the cooking again.

After all, Liu Yunong had failed in this operation before.

Yesterday it was just the Vice President Wang who came, but today Director Wang also joined.

Liu Yunong smiled slightly, ”Do what we should do. I’ll handle the cooking of this dish, you take care of the rest, prepare the side dishes first, and I’ll deal with the live fish myself.”

The kitchen staff, having been instructed, quickly went to make arrangements.

Speaking of which, this Vice President Wang is quite interesting indeed.

He brought his own ingredients yesterday, and did the same today, with the same two live carps, where on earth did he find them?

Liu Yunong took out one of the live fish, placed it in the sink, first estimated the weight of the carp, and then, while the kitchen staff prepared the ingredients, considered how to operate specifically to avoid any potential problems during cooking.

Although Liu Yunong is not very old, she is already a very experienced chef.

Precisely because of her rich experience, a casual word of advice from Fu Yu could inspire her immensely.

During the entire day of fish dissection practice, through repeated operations, she thought of many things.

At the same time.

In the private room.

The Vice President Wang was cheerfully bragging to his family about the live-cooked carp he had just eaten yesterday, describing how exquisite and rare it was.

He also didn’t forget to flatter his own father.

Making Director Wang laugh so much that his face wrinkled with smiles.

”If it weren’t for my dad giving me the VIP voucher, how could Boss Liu possibly have cooked personally!”

The Vice President Wang bragged to his mom and grandmother, ”As soon as I walked in yesterday and took out the VIP voucher my dad gave me, Boss Liu personally came out to greet me...”

Director Wang only has this one precious son, even if he’s not promising, he is still the family’s only hope and is deeply loved by the elders.

Seeing the Vice President Wang exaggerating with joy, Director Wang’s wife and elderly mother also smiled broadly.

During the New Year, even Director Wang didn’t want to bring up his son’s troublesome matters, only wanting to enjoy a warm and pleasant reunion dinner.

As a result, the atmosphere at the table was very harmonious for a time.

Furthermore, the Vice President Wang was indeed quite eloquent, vividly describing the live-cooked carp, piquing the curiosity of the whole family.

The old lady listened with a doubtful expression, ”The fish is cooked, but it can still move? Is it true?”

The Vice President Wang quickly replied, ”It’s true, I also heard about it from others before, but I didn’t expect they could actually do it here.”

The Vice President Wang sighed a bit, ”I heard that this Boss Liu is originally a famed chef! Isn’t that right, Dad?”

Director Wang, who was serving his elderly mother tea, nodded when he heard this, ”Yes, her family is said to have had an ancestor who was an Imperial Chef, serving nobility in the palace.”

The old lady listened with amazement, ”Is that so? No wonder, I must try this rare dish later on.”

The Wang Family eagerly awaited the dishes to be served.

Liu Yunong was busy in the kitchen, cooking.

The kitchen staff quickly prepared all the ingredients, and Liu Yunong began to cook with expertise.
