Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1592: Chapter 1591: Drinking Orange Juice Like This

Enna Clark chose the largest amusement park in Country W, thankfully it wasn’t the weekend, otherwise, it would have been alarmingly crowded.

The weather today was nice, with a breeze against the face and the sun shining down, it was warm and cozy.

Enna played on the roller coaster, pirate ship, sky jump, and such until her stomach was churning. When she got off the roller coaster for the second time, her legs were so weak she leaned against the nearby railing, insisting she couldn’t go for the third time, “Baron Lawrence, I can’t take it anymore. If you want to play, you can go by yourself, I’ll wait for you over there.”

She pointed to a public bench next to the roller coaster.

Baron Lawrence saw her pale complexion, pursed his thin lips, his handsome face showing impatience, but his actions were domineering yet tender, “You’re useless. Even a roller coaster ride knocks you out! Let’s go.”

With that, he half pulled, half led Enna to the chair she had pointed out, pushed her down firmly, and arrogantly said with thin lips, “Sit here and wait for me, I’ll be right back!”

“What are you going to do?” Enna sat on the chair, and her rolling stomach finally felt a bit better.

The handsome man with his hands in his pockets looked effortlessly cool, “Just wait here, I’m not you, there’s no need to worry.”

“Remember, no running off! If I come back and can’t see you…”

He didn’t finish the sentence, but the implication of the threat was clear even unspoken.

Enna really had no energy left, she nodded her head, which was as good as a promise.

Only then did Baron Lawrence frown at her, and stride into the crowd…

She hadn’t been waiting for 15 minutes when he returned. He was carrying two cups of something that looked like coffee, heading straight toward her.

No wonder she noticed him at first glance, Baron Lawrence was just too dazzling in the crowd, standing out like a crane among chickens, making it hard not to pay attention to him.

“Take it!” A warm drink was thrust into Enna’s hands.

Enna felt the warmth of the cup, and her brows and eyes couldn’t help but curve up, “Did you go to buy coffee just now?”

“Yeah.” His handsome face showed a tinge of discomfort, and he quickly added, “I bought you orange juice.”

It’s best for someone feeling nauseous to drink something sweet, coffee is too heavy, and it’s more likely to induce vomiting.

Enna bit the straw and took a sip, the sour and sweet taste of orange instantaneously spread in her mouth. Because he had it warmed, the warm orange juice once it reached her stomach made it feel much better. At least she didn’t feel like vomiting anymore.

Enna’s pale complexion also gained a bit of color, and she looked up with a radiant smile, “Baron Lawrence, thank you.”

Her smile was too dazzling.

Dazzling enough to cause a sudden tightness in his lower abdomen!

Damn it!

Baron Lawrence suddenly bent down, not caring that they were in a public place, or how many people were nearby. He deepened the kiss on her lips, sweeping over her taste buds, with a faint hint of orange flavor.

After the kiss ended, he let go of the little woman whose ears were now slightly red, his mood uplifted as he smirked and narrowed his hawk-like eyes, contentedly saying, “Turns out occasional sips of orange juice taste quite good.”

It tasted so ‘good’ that he wanted another sip!

Enna gave him an embarrassed and angry glance, too ashamed to even look at the people around them, and she changed the subject, “My stomach is uncomfortable, I might need to rest a bit more. Why don’t you go on ahead? I’ll wait here for you, it’s the same.”

“Not interested!”

He didn’t really enjoy these low-brow entertainments; he only liked them because he was playing with her.
