Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1556: Chapter 1556: Domineering and Stubborn

He made a unilateral and domineering decision without giving Enna Clark a chance to object, and simply commanded the assistant outside, “Prepare a set of clothes and send it over immediately!”

In his eyes, Enna Clark was always the most beautiful!

However, if Enna was to attend the press conference, it would still be more appropriate to change into a different set of clothes.

The assistant really wanted to remind him that there were only five minutes left before the press conference began, and even if the clothes were sent over immediately, it was already too late.

But seeing the look on Baron Lawrence’s face, he swallowed his words back down.

The President had clearly made up his mind to have Secretary Clark attend with him, and instead of wasting time talking, it would be better to get things done and meanwhile notify the staff in the main conference hall that the press conference might be delayed by half an hour.

Enna Clark, controlled by him, looked anxiously at the assistant who, without saying anything, was following his orders, and couldn’t help but say, “Baron Lawrence, stop messing around, why should I go?”

This press conference was extremely important to him. He mustn’t act on a whim at this time!

Once Baron Lawrence made a decision, it had never changed! Since he had decided to take Enna with him, he was going to take her!

He grasped Enna Clark’s wrist, his handsome face haughty, his features deep, and his dark eyes locked onto Enna’s face as he authoritatively and sensually said, “Sit beside me!”

Enna Clark, “…”

“You don’t need to do anything, just sitting beside me is enough!”

He didn’t need her to do anything, just to sit by his side, within his reach. Even if he faced the media he didn’t like, he wouldn’t be too annoyed.

Enna Clark’s mouth opened and closed, and after a long while, she managed to squeeze out, “…Baron Lawrence, you’re joking with me, right?”

He insisted on her attending such an important press conference just to have her sit beside him?

Not doing anything, just sitting there?

It was… ridiculously absurd!

Probably because her confusion was too evident, Baron Lawrence’s hawk-like eyes suddenly narrowed, and he tugged at her wrist, annoyed, “Which of your eyes sees me joking?”

“Both of them.” Him suddenly requiring her to attend the press conference was itself like a joke!

The press conference wasn’t child’s play.

Baron Lawrence’s lips pressed tightly together, he felt like strangling her to death.

Dammit, she saw with both eyes, had this woman eaten the courage of bears and leopards!

“I’m really not suitable to go, and if you must have me there, I can stand next to Mr. Harris. But let’s forget sitting together with you; it’s not the right setting, I…”

Before she could finish her sentence, the man holding her wrist suddenly bent down, silencing her with his lips.

He pushed all of Enna Clark’s words back down her throat.

His domineering lips pried hers apart, and after conquering her mouth, he lifted his head, his dark hawk eyes commanding and forceful as he said word by word, “If I want you to go, then you’re suitable!”

Enna Clark wanted to say something else.

Her finger was pinched tightly, and the proud man’s dominance reached an extreme as he stubbornly said, “Enna Clark, didn’t you say that even if the whole world betrayed me, you would stand by my side? Now! I need you to accompany me to the press conference! I want you to sit beside me! You don’t need to do anything, just sit beside me and accompany me!”

I need you now, you don’t have to do anything, just sit beside me and accompany me!

All of Enna Clark’s words were swallowed back down.

Although she didn’t understand why Baron Lawrence insisted on her being there, she was willing to accompany him.
