Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1575: Chapter 1575: Using the Entire Rhine to Hold Skye Lawrence

Enna Clark was aware of what that meant, and she did not hesitate for a second before making her decision, “Temporarily halt all the projects at hand and reallocate available funds to continue purchasing Lawrence Family’s stocks!”

The assistant couldn’t understand, “Representative, even if we keep purchasing Lawrence Family’s stocks non-stop, it can only slow down the pace at which the stock prices are falling. But if we are to suspend all ongoing projects, it might cause our company’s stocks to also run into issues, and then…”

She didn’t finish the rest of her words, but said, “I think it’s not worth it.”

“I think it’s worth it.” Enna Clark said calmly, “To me, it’s very worth it.”

When she had nothing at all, just an illegitimate daughter of the Clark Family that nobody wanted to acknowledge, Baron Lawrence did so much for her without ever considering whether it was worth it or not.

So now, even if she were to put all her wealth into it, as long as it could help him the slightest bit, to her, it was worth it!

But it still wasn’t enough.

What else could she do to help Baron Lawrence?

Enna Clark took a deep breath, furrowed her brows, and suddenly remembered, “I recall Rhine has a project about to be launched soon, which is going to be up for bidding.”

“There is such a project, what does the representative plan to do…?” Surely it’s not what I think it is.

“Give it to the Lawrence Family.” Enna Clark said decisively, as if she wasn’t talking about the project she had painstakingly prepared for a full four months, “No need for bidding, give it to the Lawrence Family. Offer an eighty percent discount to the Lawrence Family. Contact the people at the Lawrence Family Project Department.”

An eighty percent discount!

This kind of concession was akin to handing over all the profits to the other party.

“Once it’s signed, immediately announce it publicly, and then have the public relations department do a wave of PR,” she arranged methodically.

This petroleum development project was one that several large groups had contacted Rhine about; by not giving any of them a chance and directly choosing the Lawrence Family, Rhine would offend all those large groups that they had contacted.

Moreover, in the business world, no matter how close the relationship between two companies was, they never applied the practice of offering an eighty percent discount.

By doing this, Enna Clark was essentially breaking the unspoken agreement everyone had.

If the Lawrence Family managed to turn things around this time, it would be fine, but if Baron Lawrence couldn’t recover, Rhine would also suffer.

Enna Clark was essentially using the entire Rhine to stall Skye Lawrence’s offensive, giving Baron Lawrence a chance to catch his breath.

The assistant was already dumbfounded, starting from the moment she suggested suspending all ongoing projects, and upon hearing her plan and layout, the shock had turned into calm acceptance, “Yes, Representative, I will arrange it.”

“Thank you for handling the Rhine side of things.” Enna Clark knew the assistant thought she was crazy, she thought for a moment and said, “In two hours, I will hold a video conference, please notify all of Rhine’s shareholders.”

Having made such a significant arrangement, she had to persuade the shareholders.

Even though she had absolute authority in Rhine, according to company regulations, even with that authority, she was supposed to explain to the shareholders when making significant decisions.

This decision by Enna Clark was not made on a whim; she had thought about it for a long time, including how to persuade the shareholders—she had it all planned out.

No matter what, she said, this time she would stand by his side through thick and thin!

She would not be like before, unable to do anything!
