Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1506: Chapter 1506: Skye Lawrence, Have You Considered Partnering with Me?

Three minutes later, the doctor, with sweat streaming down his face, said, “All done, I have set the bone using a splint. Please try not to use this hand for the next month, and wait until the bone has properly fused again. It will need another two months of slow recuperation after that, so complete healing will take about three months. During these three months, you must be very careful; otherwise, there may be lasting damage to your wrist, which would be troublesome.”

“Furthermore, during this time, you should avoid eating high-protein foods, as well as carp, roosters, pickled bamboo shoots, and ginger, among others.”

After the intense pain had subsided in a moment, Skye slowly recovered and looked at him with her beautiful eyes, asking, “Could there be lasting damage? What kind of damage?”

“That… I can’t be certain for the time being, it depends on how well your wrist heals. If it heals well, there definitely won’t be a problem. If it doesn’t heal well, you might not be able to do delicate work with your left hand in the future, but regardless of how it heals, you came to the Hospital for treatment in a timely manner, so there won’t be any impact on your day-to-day life.”

Skye really wanted to ask him if fencing or shooting would be affected.

But the words reached her lips and she swallowed them back down.

Her gaze darkened.

At that moment, the man who had been standing behind her all this time reached into his pocket and pulled out a checkered handkerchief, carefully wiping the sweat from her forehead with an indifferent but affirmative tone, “Your hand will definitely recover very well, don’t worry.”

Skye’s expression softened slightly, and she said to the doctor, “Please secure it for me.”

“Okay.”

The doctor, not sure why, always felt that she had a special aura about her that made people unconsciously follow her commands.

He quickly secured the Orthopedics splint on Skye’s hand, and once it was fixed in place, he said, “All set.”

Oscar helped her up, saying graciously, “Let’s go, I’ll take you back.”

Skye stood up, not allowing him to assist her, and stubbornly began to walk out.

When they reached the Hospital’s main entrance, she suddenly stopped, her expression weary, “Oscar, I appreciate you coming to the Hospital to find me today. I brought a driver, so there’s no need for you to take me. You can go back first.”

With that, she took out her phone, intending to step aside to call the driver.

Just as she pulled out her phone, someone grasped her right wrist.

Because of the injury on her hand, she was caught off guard and pulled back.

Skye was not in a good mood, and although she looked a bit pale, a frown formed between her brows, her strong presence as a powerful woman coming to the fore as she struggled free from the man’s grip, saying expressionlessly, “Oscar, I’m very tired right now and need to go home to rest. We can talk about whatever it is tomorrow. Let go of my hand.”

Her words had just finished.

Suddenly, the tall man extended his hand, his fingertips brushing away the bead of blood from her lips, his usually dark eyes showing an uncharacteristic light, “Skye Lawrence, would you consider entering into a partnership with me?”

Would you consider entering into a partnership with me?

Entering into a partnership.

Skye suddenly felt a heat on her lips and instinctively stepped back, watching him warily, “A partnership for what? I don’t understand what you mean.”

“Haven’t you been preparing for a long time in the stock market? Now is the best time. All you’re missing is a completely reliable partner with the capability to join you. Who could be a better choice than me? Our partnership would be a win-win, for you and for me, and by working together, you will be able to do what you want to do.”
