Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1106: Chapter 1106: Arranged a blind date for her Chapter 1106: Chapter 1106: Arranged a blind date for her No one knew what happened in Linton City.

After two in the morning, at the airport of Country W, a tall and striking woman alighted from the plane.

She was wearing a formal suit, a Chanel suit that, on her, did not seem overbearing but rather indescribably elegant.

The design of the skirt that hugged her hips only served to further elongate her leg line, her figure curvaceous and commanding, an aura of a mature lady that was unstoppable! Even though it was quite late, she still attracted a lot of attention from men at the airport!

She wasn’t pulling any luggage nor carrying a purse, with only a pair of sunglasses in her hand, not looking at all like she had just gotten off a plane.

While others were guessing her situation,

Several men in suits quickly approached, walked up to her with respect, and bowed, “Welcome back to the country, First Young Lady! We didn’t know the plane would arrive early and came late, we apologize, First Young Lady.”

“It doesn’t matter; I have no luggage anyway.” Skye Lawrence passed her sunglasses over and strode forward with an air of confidence, asking as she walked, “Did anything happen at home while I was gone?”

“Nothing special, sir is still the same as before, spending most of his time on work, attending meetings everywhere. The company in your name also operates normally.”

“Hmm.” Skye Lawrence hummed in acknowledgment, taking note.

Then her red lips tightened, as she asked, “What about the old residence?”

“The old residence?” The man she queried was visibly taken aback before responding, “As for the old residence, I’m not sure.”

Nobody could easily plant eyes in Old Lord’s place unless they were nearly seeking their death!

Massaging her temple, Skye Lawrence realized her own question was rather foolish and said with exhausted eyes, “I was just asking about Grandpa’s health.”

“Forget it; I’ll visit there myself tomorrow.”

“Alright, First Young Lady.” The man began, then remembered to add, “By the way, First Young Lady. Dad heard you were coming back and came to pick you up personally. He’s in the car outside the airport right now.”

“Dad’s outside? Why didn’t you say so earlier?” Skye Lawrence glanced at him displeased and quickened her pace.

Outside the airport, a line of luxury cars was particularly striking.

The Lincoln Stretch Limousine in the center, bearing the Lawrence Family insignia, was particularly conspicuous.

When Skye Lawrence pulled open the car door, she saw the middle-aged man seated inside.

The middle-aged man appeared to be in his early forties, with the typical features of the Lawrence Family: deep-set eyes, a high nose bridge, thin lips. But compared to Baron Lawrence, he looked more rugged and had darker skin.

The man was looking at a computer, but as he saw her enter, he closed it and set it aside, “You’re back?”

“Yes.” In the presence of this man, Skye Lawrence didn’t exude the powerful presence she had outside; she seemed like any ordinary girl.

The man moved aside slightly to make room for her before speaking, “It’s good you’re back. You’ve been away for so long this time; did something happen? I heard you even went to an island resort to unwind.”

Not daring to tell him what she had done, Skye could only vaguely respond, “I’ve been too tired from work recently and happened to have some time, so I went for a walk.”

“Your work is indeed scheduled too tightly.” Fortunately, the middle-aged man did not press on the issue but suddenly said, “I’ve taken an interest in a promising young man; make some time to meet him when you can.”

A meeting implied what, a blind date?!

Dad had arranged a blind date for her?!
