Alchemy Master

Chapter 99, Miraculous Pills

Qin Yichen naturally noticed Shu Ruyan’s furrowed brows and sighed. He had originally planned to follow this caravan to the Royal City to avoid some trouble, but who knew he would encounter even bigger trouble.

“Big Sister, he…” Shu Xin did not understand her Sister’s worries and thought Shu Ruyan was angry at her mischief.

She just could not understand why her Sister always protected this nasty guy.

“Alright, your wound has yet to heal. Go and rest, don’t move around anymore.” Seeing Shu Xin’s obviously sickly pale face, Shu Ruyan advised with concern.

“Big Sister…” Shu Xin stamped her feet, pouting. Finally, she glared at Qin Yichen resentfully and strode towards the caravan.

Qin Yichen shook his head, his face bearing a bitter smile. [She probably hates me to death.]

“Does the Young Mistress have something to ask of me?” He looked at the beautiful Young Mistress before him.

“Yes.” Shu Ruyan nodded, hesitating slightly before speaking, “Many guards have been injured these past few days. I wonder if Young Master Qin has any Healing Liquid?”

“Healing Liquid?” Qin Yichen was slightly stunned. Of course, it was not because Shu Ruyan’s request was too much, but rather because he was surprised.

From his observations over the past few days, the caravan had several Martial Grandmasters, and even a first level Peak Stage Martial Grandmaster. This suggested that Shu Ruyan’s Family, if not a First Tier Family in the Royal City, it was at least a Second Tier Family.

For such a powerful Family travelling around, how could they be short of Healing Liquid?

“Does the Young Master not have any either?” Seeing him not speak, disappointment flashed in Shu Ruyan’s eyes. For various reasons, she did not have much on hand…

“I do, wait a moment.” Qin Yichen was not a stingy person. He went back to the carriage, took out a bottle of Healing Pills, and directly handed it to her.

“Thank you, Young Master Qin.” Receiving the Healing Pills, Shu Ruyan gratefully said to Qin Yichen. However, this bottle only contained about ten Pills, which might not be enough.

“Don’t worry, as long as it’s not a fatal injury, one Pill per person guarantees them a full recovery!” As if seeing the worry in Shu Ruyan’s heart, Qin Yichen reminded her with a light chuckle.

The Healing Pills he had refined were prepared for himself. They were incomparable to the Healing Liquid currently available on the market.

“One Pill for a full recovery?” Hearing Qin Yichen’s exaggerated words, Shu Ruyan was slightly stunned.

“Just try it and you’ll know.”

Seeing him say this, Shu Ruyan could not say much more. After thanking him again, she took the bottle of Healing Pills and left.

“Big Sister, why were you talking to that bastard?” Seeing Shu Ruyan return to the carriage, Shu Xin asked with a pout, her face full of overt annoyance. She was starting to doubt if she was really her Big Sister’s Biological Sister.

“Xin’er, from now on, don’t be rude to Young Master Qin.” Seeing her like this, Shu Ruyan could not help but scold with a stern face.

Such a young Alchemy Master would surely achieve great things in the future. They could not afford to offend such a person.

Seeing her Sister’s crestfallen face, Shu Ruyan’s heart softened, “I just asked Young Master Qin for some Healing Pills.”

“Huh…” Shu Xin looked up in surprise at her Big Sister’s bitter face, her heart suddenly filled with mixed emotions.

In her mind, she knew how proud her Big Sister had always been. Yet, she had to lower herself to beg from someone… Just thinking about it made her heart ache.

“Young Master Qin is a very nice person. He gave me a bottle of Healing Pills.” Shu Ruyan smiled comfortingly at her. She knew she could not fall here. If she fell, the Family would truly have no hope left.

In fact, Qin Yichen being able to provide so many Healing Pills was quite surprising to her.

These were not Healing Liquid, but real Pills. A bottle of more than ten Pills would cost at least a thousand silver coins. Yet, Qin Yichen had given them to her almost without hesitation, which touched her heart. After all, there was no real connection between her and Qin Yichen, they were just chance acquaintances.

“Just one bottle? How stingy…” Although Shu Xin still said this, the dislike for Qin Yichen in her heart seemed to have faded a little.

“Enough.” Shu Ruyan glared at her, feeling helpless about her willful Little Sister.

“Take one Pill first, then I’ll distribute the rest to the injured guards.” She handed the bottle to Shu Xin and added, “Young Master Qin said that as long as it’s not a serious injury, taking one Pill will fully heal you. So, don’t waste it.”

“One Pill? Full recovery? Does he think these are Miracle Pills?” As she spoke, Shu Xin’s face was again full of dissatisfaction. The slight goodwill she had just developed instantly vanished. It was not like she had never used Healing Pills before. Even the High Quality Pills bought in the Royal City only stabilised ones’ injuries. For complete recovery, they still needed to be consume various other Pills or medicinal herbs.

[One Pill for full recovery? How is that even possible!?]

However, she naturally did not know that this bottle of Healing Pills Qin Yichen had given them was unique in this world! Prepared for his own use, Qin Yichen naturally made the best he could.

Shu Xin angrily opened the bottle cap.

As soon as it was opened, a faint medicinal fragrance wafted out. However, compared to ordinary Healing Pills, this fragrance was somewhat inferior, even similar to some Low Grade Healing Liquid.

[Can this really be called a Pill? Wasted Pills would be more accurate!]

If the Pills that came out were not smooth and glossy, Shu Xin would have thrown them away.

However, come to think of it, she had never used such glossy Pills before. [They must be at least be of Fourth Grade, right?]

She quickly shook her head. [How can that guy possibly have Fourth Grade Pills!?]

In her mind, he was a thief, a pervert, and also, a miser!

But now, Shu Xin had no choice. Even if they were the least effective Pills, their effect should not be worse than High Grade Healing Liquid. Compared to having no healing medication at all, taking these was undoubtedly much better.

“Huh?” Almost out of spite, Shu Xin swallowed a Healing Pill. However, as the Pill entered her mouth, her pretty face changed. A look of shock flashed in her bright eyes as she stared at the medicine bottle in her hand, unable to react for a long time.

“Xin’er, what’s wrong?” Seeing her stunned expression, Shu Ruyan thought something had gone wrong with the Pill and anxiously asked.

Shu Xin did not answer her. After the Pill entered her body, she concentrated, and she closed her eyes, sitting cross-legged.

After a while, under Shu Ruyan’s worried gaze, Shu Xin slowly exhaled a breath of turbid air and slowly opened her eyes. However, in her beautiful eyes, there was an undisguisable look of shock.

The injuries in her body had all healed the moment the medicine took effect. Moreover, she felt that her cultivation had even improved. In this short time, her entire state had actually recovered to its peak!

[It… really is a Miracle Pill!]
